The children come, and somehow, there are always so many things lingering that we REALLY wish we knew. On the “What I wish I knew: Parenting Edition” podcast, I reflect on my experiences as a parent. I discuss the epic highs, crushing lows, and everything in between.
If nothing else, at least it’s an honest story.
A lot of the problems with education have to do with lack of accountability and misinformation from a system that like every other system in this country is rooted in white supremacy and classism. That being said, We can’t keep asking the oppressors to free us. Let’s do what we can to help our own. As PARENTS, we play such a huge role in the success of our children.
