Want to walk a life of true freedom? Examine your heart to see what you're afraid of. What you fear, is what you've put your faith in. Sometimes we allow those things to become bigger than God. Real freedom comes only through Christ and is achieved only when we fear the Lord more than we fear things of the world. We need to be so close to our heavenly Father that we do not fear anything but him. He is bigger than our problems, bigger than our what if's, bigger than our circumstances--no matter our need, He is the solution.
Have you ever wondered what Paul means in Galatians 3:28 when he writes, "There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, nor male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus." The church is meant to be a pocket of heaven on earth.

In our final week of Jonah, Pastor Matt shows us Jonah's anger towards God wasn't fear based, it was out of a self-serving justice. The Ninevites were the enemy. Jonah knew God would show them grace because He is good, loving, & slow to anger. He also knew the justice he wanted wouldn't come to pass if they repented. Have you found yourself angry and offended? Are you crying out like Jonah for a self-serving justice against your enemies? But, there is a point when we must choose to obey or remain in disobedience.
