Jesus' redemptive work on the cross was accomplished as he had loved humankind and washed the redeemed from past, present, and future sins. It was the Blood of this Perfect Paschal Lamb that had made the difference at Calvary. Let us remember the price that was paid for our eternal life. And remember that the story does not end with the grave.

Imagine Christ and His entourage heading up to Jerusalem, this is the time of the Passover when the pilgrims traditionally travel to the Great Worship, just as they have journeyed in the past for other great feasts of God.

Looking toward Easter, we all have such glorious reasons to give thanks for a dying and resurrected Savior who indeed is Goodness and Mercy. Therefore, let the redeemed thank God for His Goodness and Mercy.

We may find ourselves in situations that will cause us to have liquid prayers. Crying is not only cleansing but also a delicate method of entreating God for a cause. Sometimes the burdens we carry causes us to have liquid prayers out of despair. We must remember that Jesus has experienced the ultimate of emotions that we too feel, Yet His tears were tears of unfailing love.

"I am the Lord your God". The law was not given as a means of salvation. It was given to a people already saved in order to instruct them in the will of the Lord so that they might fulfill God’s purpose for them as “a kingdom of priest and a holy nation”. The revelation was given not to give but to guide life.”

The Genesis promise, the patriarchal promises made with Abraham. God changes his name from Abram, meaning a high and exalted father, to Abraham, father of many nations. Sarah's name was also changed from Sarai, meaning princess to Sarah a noblewoman, the bearer of sons who would be the seed of many nations. Jesus promises us a new name in Glory.

Sin can be a heavy load even upon the most insensate or hardened of hearts. Here is where God is able to step in and forgive unconditionally. Then in a similar way, just like King David, our testimony of liberation from the load having been lifted is one we want others to know. We want to tell them, "Yes God is able!" Rev Eleanor writes about a time when she heard a pastor explaining the ambassadorship we have inherited, his statement was that we are under new management. So, what exactly was he talking about? Paul explained this thought to us in the sense that if we are in Christ then we are new creatures! What a great expression of what it means to be a Christian.

Often in life we may experience unwanted and sometimes unnecessary pain. This pain is the kind that throbs, lacking any pill that can cure it or make it subside. Habitually it may even be self-inflicted. It is the deep kind of pain that is perhaps much like what King David experienced after his grave self-inflicted error.
