Nanu Na!
This is a repository of Nanu Na! episodes aired over 91.9 FM RN Sorsogon. At the moment, our focus is on how we, as individuals, can save ourselves from the Covid 19 virus - so we can save the whole world from the Pandemic.
The debates never ends. Facemask or no facemask, Face shield or no face shield, MRNA vaccines or traditionally made vaccines, lockdown or no lockdown, everyone insists they are right ad-nauseam. In the meantime, what do you do when people continue to die?
The worsening condition in India, Brazil and many other countries related to the Covid 19 Pandemic could extend work from home arrangements and make everyone's life a bit more sedentary. To help those who would like to keep in good physical shape even under quarantine, we interviewed Ms. Estrella Bonita Alabastro, a licensed Physical Therapist (Clinician, Academician) to give us some pointers.

Straight up, there is no secret. The only way to avoid suffering the fate of India in the ongoing pandemic is by preventing individuals from getting infected by the Covid 19 virus. And the only way everyone can prevent infection is by following the guidelines espoused by health organizations – whether it is the World Health Organization, or the local health organizations where individuals reside.
But this is only an opinion.
It might help to note that, amidst all that is going on in India, a local health official in one of the hardest hit places advises everyone to go back to the basics if they were to save themselves.
This episode hopes to deliver that message in Tagalog vernacular.

Malaki ang maitutulong ng tamang pagsusuot ng face mask, subalit kahit yung lang hindi pa magawa ng maayos.
Doctors who scrutinized existing Covid 19 vaccines determined that not one of them can stop the virus from infecting an individual, but the infection will be mild if the person has been inoculated days prior to infection and, all vaccines are equally able to save lives and prevent the condition of the victims from deteriorating.
That's according to Dr. May Emmeline Motellano, Adviser of Philippine Foundation for Vaccination, and member of the National Immunization Technical Advisory Group for Covid 19 in the Philippines who was interviewed in this episode.
