Hi! I'm Desiree from RainyDaysLibrary. In all honesty, I only started this podcast since so many people have been telling met that I have a soothing voice and that I make them feel safe and comfortable. So, my podcasts will really just consist of me talking about random stuff (in a hush kind of tone, so I'm not really talking loudly. It's a bit ASMR-esque) probably studying at the same time too, so you'll definitely hear me reading out parts of my assignments and/or readings to you. I'll also talk about how I live my busy lifestyle and get through it without breaking down (loll). Mostly advice on being productive, study hacks, mental health awareness and tips, and just basically life advice based on my personal experience! Any who, I'm just here to keep you company and make you feel safe! <3
Hey raindrops! It's been a while since I last posted on here - I'm so sorry! I've been focusing a lot on my new YouTube channel (Rainydayslibrary) but I've got a super exciting episode for you tonight. I got the chance to meet up with Sandy Robson via Zoom tonight along with a few of you to ask him some questions! Get your drink and your popcorn ready to hear some more about Sandy and his books!
Welcome to Season 2 Episode 1 of this new series I'm calling "Answering Your Questions" where I... well, answer your questions!
This podcast is dedicated to Luna, who asked me to give some of my study tips on this podcast! As you know, I never record with a set plan or a list of things to talk about on a piece of paper. I seriously just talk as though I was talking to a friend of mine, because that's how I want you to feel!
So in this podcast, your studying-addict friend Desiree will talk to you all about how she keeps track of her assignments, all the things she has to do in one day, and how she actually studies.

Naz, a 17 year old high school student from Norway, wrote her first book in 2021. Her book, entitled Painting Reality by Believing, launched on February 14th, 2022, in multiple places (Amazon, Barnes & Nobles, Bookdepository, Aldibris, Kobo, and more!). In this podcast, I get to pick her brain a little bit and know why she wrote this book, as well as get to know her a little better!
Come and enjoy the conversation! If you've been wanting to write your own book, or if you've been wanting to begin your journey towards an end-goal, Naz and I's conversation will definitely give you some motivation. Her book may be what you needed.
If you haven't already, go and listen to our first podcast together where Naz interviews me (Desiree). Get to know a bit more about me as a person, and a bit more about RainyDaysLibrary and how it all started!
Both podcasts are posted on both our podcasts
Both are on Spotify :)
Happy listening, and happy reading! <3
If you've been wanting to know more about me as a person, and me and my business (RainyDaysLibrary), this is the podcast episode for you!
Naz (the author of Painting Reality by Believing) had a bunch of amazing questions for me which I think you all will really enjoy.
Happy listening! <3
Okay, the title is kind of confusing, but so is life. In this episode, I talk about dealing with loneliness even when you have a full schedule and how to cope with it. I also talk about how it's normal to feel lonely but NOT want to talk to anyone. This episode is honestly a lot of babbling, and I change topics very often, so don't mind me. I honestly just think this is a great topic to address, because it absolutely IS normal to feel lonely sometimes but still not want to interact with others, but have the presence of someone next to you, but like just not talk.
Anyways, I hope you like this episode!

We all have these days where we wakeup and we just want to sleep in a little more, or maybe we just want to read all day and avoid our daily to-do list. I get it, trust me. With the kind of schedule and busy lifestyle I run, I've wanted to "push it to tomorrow" SO MANY TIMES. But with time I've come to find a routine that helps me wakeup and get all my stuff done so that I don't feel anxious the next day because I'm behind. Listen to this episode if you need some tips on how to do it!

Welcome to my very first podcast, where I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing! I'm pretty much just talking about random stuff here. Working on some assignments, answering emails, talking about bread [I love bread]. This is just to make you feel like you have someone here with you keeping you company! Hope you like it :) Desiree
