The Federal Reserve raised interest rates 1/4% today.
They indicated that they'll raise rates 6-more times this year; for a total hike of about 2%.
If they limit the increases to 25bps/hike that will put home mortgage rates at about 6%.
If they raise 50bps/hike, mortgage rates will be much higher.
Higher interest rates will make the cost of doing business higher so corporate profitability will suffer.
History rhymes but it doesn't repeat.
The last inflationary cycle was 40-years ago. The investing landscape is has changed.
Consider taking profits, trimming losses and reducing risk exposure.
