Growing up Ward was fascinated with music, and the tangible aspect of holding a vinyl, cassette, or CD in his hands and reading liner notes and lyrics. This started his love for music and he eventually made his way to Nashville to become a songwriter and artist. After spending some time in that world, he realized that he enjoyed cultivating a community around rising artists and being a safe place for them to showcase their new music at his event at Winners Bar & Grill in Nashville - Whiskey Jam. Now along with operating Whiskey Jam bi-weekly, Guenther is the host of his own radio show where he continues his legacy of finding and highlighting rising stars in the country music scene.

For 15 years, Kappy took fans on a vacation cruise with their favorite artists and basically got a Ph.D. in fan and artist interactions.
