Welcome to this week's episode, where we delve into a very important topic, "God’s Kind of Chats.” That is, Exalting His Name Together, as implied in Psalm 34:3 (NKJV) which says “Oh, magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt His name together.” Join us on this journey of exposition as we explore the importance of engaging in the kinds of chats the Lord wants for His children.When we meet as God’s children, He doesn’t expect us to be discussing what is not working or what the devil is doing. Rather, He wants us as His people to discuss and share what He is doing despite the chaos all around us. He wants us to share with one another how He is providing in the midst of scarcity; how He is protecting us in the midst of dangers; how He is making ways for us where there seems to be no way, etc. These are God’s kind of chats. God loves us and cares about us. When we talk like the heathen who don’t believe in God we stand to experience the terrible things they experience. But when we talk the way He wants us to talk, He causes us to ride above what is not working and gives us testimonies in the midst of adversity.“Oh, Magnify the Lord with Me, and let us exalt His Name together” is God’s kind of chat. When we magnify the Lord, we are not making Him bigger as He is already God. Rather, when we do, we are making Him bigger than our problems and circumstances. Magnifying the Lord reduces the size of our problems. So, when we meet together in our churches, workplaces, business meetings, etc, we must learn to exalt the Lord in our discussions. That’s the kind of chat He wants from us.Join us in prayer as we seek the grace of God to continually exalt the Lord with our words whenever we find ourselves in discussions. Don’t Stop Now: Your Reward Is ImminentWelcome to this week's episode, where we delve into a very important topic, "Don’t Stop Now: Your Reward Is Imminent," as implied in Galatians 6:9 – 10 (NKJV) which says “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.” Join us on this journey of encouragement and assurance as we explore the importance of not stopping our good deeds, knowing fully well that our rewards are imminent.This message is actually a direct message for someone. There is someone who is listening now or who will be listening to this particular episode. The Lord wants me to tell you: “Do not stop now.” By the time the episode is over, you will understand if you are the one He is talking to or not. But I can assure you, if you are sensitive in your spirit, and you open up your heart, you will understand your word.You see, doing good sometimes doesn't yield Instant Rewards. We need to establish that before we even begin to explore the topic. You don't always get the reward for your good works instantly. As a matter of fact, some good acts will only be rewarded in the future. It may even be your children (descendants) that will reap the benefits of your good deeds – just like we all as descendants of Abraham (by faith in Christ Jesus) are enjoying the reward of his obedience to God today.But take note of this important statement, whether immediate or in the future, no good act will go unrewarded. That is a LAW! Whether it is immediate or in the future, there is no single act of goodness, there is no single good act that will go unrewarded. Even when you forget about them sometimes, God doesn’t. He ensures they are rewarded. And that should encourage you to not lose heart or stop your good works. The Lord says “in due season, you will reap”. And since you do not know the due season (because only the Lord knows that), your responsibility is to continue doing good.The only thing that can make your good deeds go unrewarded is if you stop or lose heart – because that will be considered as uprooting your seed which means loss of harvest. The reward is predicated upon “if you faint not”. That is, if you don’t grow weary or stop. If you stop, your reward may be lost. That is why this admonition is coming to you today: “Don’t Stop Now: Your Reward Is Imminent.”Join us in prayer as we seek the grace of God to continually do good deeds without fainting or losing heart while we await our rewards. Join us on this journey of discovery and empowerment as we explore the significance of responding to God’s call to be His ambassadors irrespective of our vocations.As God’s treasured people, our first call is to depart from sinful living and embrace righteous living. God’s primary call to everyone is to become saved by believing in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the Cross. After responding to this primary and all-important call, God then expects us to become His ambassadors in the same vocations we were in when we were called – unless the vocation is sinful, in which case such will have to be changed.Surrendering one’s life to Jesus Christ does not necessarily demand a change of job. You don’t have to resign from your secular job to become a Pastor, a Bishop or take on other church-related engagements. God wants to use your job for His glory. He wants you to shine His light so that people will see the changes in your life after you answer His call to salvation. Also, He wants to use doctors to reach doctors, lawyers to reach lawyers, etc. He wants you to become His very representative in the same vocation you were in when He saved you.
