The MG Podcast is about storytelling, which is an art...especially if you're committed to staying within the recognizable truth. Stories can be humorous and clever. They can be disguised in poetry or song. I can't wait to meet you and tell you about my life while growing up in a small town called Murdo. I'll have entertaining guests in my "We can relate" podcasts. Please join me for a fun time.
I wrote this piece while waiting in the car with my two dogs while my husband was having an MRI and follow-up with his doctor. He's been having some hip pain. I was in the car with the dogs for several hours and when I have a little extra time on my hands, I usually am drawn to write something. This particular poem is about a difficult relationship. I'm sure many will be able to relate to the experience I describle.

This is a story about a character I named The Beasterhop. I made him up during storytelling time with my dad, William Francis, when I was a small child. To get to know the Beasterhop, you must use your imagination. I have written several stories about this character who is often watched by a little girl and her dad as he goes about his daily business and interactions with his family of bunnies.
