Presenters Caitlin and Keigan talk with Fuse Board Member, Alan Sherry OBE and PEEK CEO, Michaela Collins about how they felt being nominated and getting an OBE and MBE respectively, what inspires them and how they arrived at where they are now in their careers.
Alan Sherry OBE, as well as being a trustee for Fuse is currently Chair of CLD standards council, Acting Principal of South Lanarkshire College, former Principal of Glasgow Kelvin College. Alan is so humble and somehow manages to talk through his CV like it was a cool Sunday afternoon walk in the park.
Michaela Collins MBE has dedicated 14 years of her life at PEEK, a successful youth organisation in East End of Glasgow and tells us of her journey since joining as a member at the very young age of 9 years old, Michaela’s story is really inspiring, showing her passion for youth work, mixed with her obvious commitment and hard work, which has taken her to the role of CEO of a vibrant youth organisation at such a young age herself.
