This week we discuss the importance of forgiveness, not only of others, but also forgiveness for ourselves. Forgive yourself! I know this can be a hard one to conquer, but learning to move on from past regrets and accepting that you were doing the best you possibly could at that moment is a vital step to self-acceptance. Many of us, including myself, become pretty good at being able to forgive others, but self-forgiveness always seems to be a lot more difficult. Why is it that so many of us are afraid to express our true authentic selves? whatever that may look like! because who really cares what others have to say except you? ABSOLUTELY NO ONE!! No one that truly matters anyway.
And Is it possible that many of us are stuck in life purely because we fail to authentically express ourselves, whether that's vocally, through how we present ourselves, or through how we express our emotions?

Let's Help Stop the Senseless Killings of OUR Youth!!
No parent should ever have to bury their child in this way.
This whole gang related culture really has to stop.
How are we allowing this madness to happen while still shouting and protesting for BLM??
How can BLM when we do not even value or respect life?
So many people want to shift blame on government, police, lack of youth clubs, absent parents blah blah blah… (not to say they have no part in it)..
This is our issue, we are the mothers and fathers of these children, we teach them how to behave, we treat them morals and standards, love & hate, etc so we are the ones who have to change the narrative for them.

We’ve all heard the phrase ‘Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.’
Whoever came up with that phrase clearly didn’t know the power of words and the trauma it causes loads of people.
Words are spells, and so many of us carry around the trauma of things we we were told as children.

Toxic people are one of the most dangerous and destructive forces you can surround yourself with.
People who are always negative, who always find ways to put you down, drain your energy when you are around them, constantly make you feel bad about yourself, and NEVER take accountability for their actions, should be avoided at all cost.
These people are in desperate need of healing, and until they begin to heal from their own trauma, they will always dump and offload their trauma on everyone around them.

Seeing as it's Black History Month, and it is a time of celebrating and recognising our heritage and culture, I thought it was only right that we speak on all aspects of our culture, starting with “the culture of silence.” Yes you heard me….😐😐

The one that is so deeply entrenched in us, that when someone in the community chooses to speak up about any atrocity, they are labelled snitches, informers, sellouts etc..🤭🤭 What are your thoughts on this topic??
