In the midst of a summer that won't stop, Kenny finally found time to weigh in on some current events. This episode is all about the landmark reversal of the Roe-v-Wade decision in the case of Dobbs vs Jackson. We covered the initial leaked draft hinting to the decision back in May. After a few months of speculation, the Supreme Court of the United States of America sent the question of abortion back to the states where it will now be decided by the legislative branch. The episode ends with select portions from this article by David Harsanyi.

Kenny is back at Camp Nox for another year and is joined by the Podfather himself Jon Vazquez and camp director Bryan Madison. Teaming up for a youth camp with two of his closest friends was an incredible experience. The making of this episode was just icing on the cake. The conversation was centered around the task of preaching to young people in a rapidly changing world. Of course, Kenny and Bro. V. chase a few rabbits along the way.

disclaimer this episode was recorded on June 12th in a camper during a hot summer camp. In order to keep the space quiet, Kenny kept the a/c unit off until the guys couldn’t take it anymore. Around 8 mins in to the episode, the air was turned on and you can hear the sound. Apologies to anyone bothered by it running.

On Tuesday March 1st 2022, Kenny traveled to Atlanta GA and met the one and only Jordan Peterson. Dr. Peterson is on a world tour promoting his newest book 'Beyone Order' a follow up to his wildly popular '12 Rules for Life: an Antidote for Chaos.' The subject of that night's lecture was "Abandon Ideology." In it, Dr. Peterson covers the story of the Israelites' exodus from tyranny to idolatry and then eventually to an ethical society based on a moral hierarchy. Kenny is here to go over his notes from that evening and the events that transpired before and after.

We interrupt our normal posting schedule for a Chessor Presser concerning the invasion of Ukraine by Russia. Kenny is under no illusion that the masses are clamoring for his opinion on the matter. Far more knowledgable historians, journalist, and diplomats should be your prime source for information on these matters. But a few faithful listeners have asked if he planned to talk about the war unfolding currently in Europe. Understanding his severe limitations concerning global politics, the bulk of the episode is focused on an article published by Bari Weiss written by Zoe Strimpel. You can read it in full here. Basically, it talks about the choice between neo-isolationism and interventionism and the last 20 years of foreign policy that led us to this moment.

The Benedict Option is a fantastic book by author Rod Dreher that explains a rule of St. Benedict of Nursia. It outlines an effective strategy for christians living in a post christian nation. Kenny doesn't, nor does the book, argue for a retreat to the hills to live out a monastic life. However, certain principles can and should still apply.
