Kenny Chessor has some opinions about politics and religion. He uses this podcast to flesh out his thoughts concerning current events, world history, philosophy, and christian writings. Occasionally, he'll be joined by friends who are passionate about these subjects, as well.
In the midst of a summer that won't stop, Kenny finally found time to weigh in on some current events. This episode is all about the landmark reversal of the Roe-v-Wade decision in the case of Dobbs vs Jackson. We covered the initial leaked draft hinting to the decision back in May. After a few months of speculation, the Supreme Court of the United States of America sent the question of abortion back to the states where it will now be decided by the legislative branch. Sean Kirkendall is here to talk all things church tech with Kenny. The two met about 20 years ago. Sean was a rambunctious bus kid and Kenny was a rambunctious evangelist. Kenny is back at Camp Nox for another year and is joined by the Podfather himself Jon Vazquez and camp director Bryan Madison. Teaming up for a youth camp with two of his closest friends was an incredible experience. The making of this episode was just icing on the cake. The conversation was centered around the task of preaching to young people in a rapidly changing world. Of course, Kenny and Bro. V. chase a few rabbits along the way.

After a reporter obtain a leaked copy of Justice Samuel Alito's first draft opinion in which it appears the Supreme Court of the United States is set to strike down the landmark Roe-v-Wade decision later this year, Kenny decided to discuss it on another installment of News to Me. On Tuesday March 1st 2022, Kenny traveled to Atlanta GA and met the one and only Jordan Peterson. Dr. Peterson is on a world tour promoting his newest book 'Beyone Order' a follow up to his wildly popular '12 Rules for Life: an Antidote for Chaos.' The subject of that night's lecture was "Abandon Ideology." In it, Dr. Peterson covers the story of the Israelites' exodus from tyranny to idolatry and then eventually to an ethical society based on a moral hierarchy. Kenny is here to go over his notes from that evening and the events that transpired before and after.

He faithfully served the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ as World Missions Director for many years.
