Frank Gilbert, as a sixteen year old, starts his apprenticeship as a sign writer in London, and soon gets an opportunity to work on a job on Saltwood castle in Hythe. It's there that Frank meets Olive Brown and their lives together begin. Through the Browns, Frank is introduced to church and finds his faith in Jesus.
