Because of his love for his fellow Israelites, Paul was willing to be “cut off from Christ” for their benefit. Are there any unbelievers in your life whom you feel similarly toward? To what lengths are you going to share the good news with them?

Verses 6-13 seem to indicate that God failed to keep his word. Have you ever asked a similar question? What answers did you arrive at? How did you get to that conclusion?

It’s so very easy to say, but let’s examine and ask ourselves if we really have surrendered to and have started to fully trust God.
Are we really living as people of faith—people who trust God and the promises he’s made – the way Abraham did?
Have we completely surrendered ourselves to God? As in all of our decisions and circumstances?
If not, what can you do to build up your faith so it can be like Abraham’s?
