Just some interviews with dope people to learn from! Whatever you want to do in life, talking with others who have gone before you is always a great first step. I’ve realized I know a lot of people who are very experienced and skilled in areas that I would like to be. So I wanted to create a space to have intentional conversations with the people I come across with great stories and experiences so we all can learn from them.
Ryan Haakenson tells his experience of hiking the 9,000 feet of elevation to Mount Everest Base Camp. H was a Student Missionary in the Philippines when he decided to meet up with a friend in India and her dad to start the journey toward Nepal’s Himalayas. No training, experience, or guides, just a 16 day trek up to 18,500 ft. of elevation.
Jimmy Gilley is an avid runner, finishing about 400 miles of races in the past few years. We talk about his ultra marathon and Ironman experiences as well as his wild Alaska fishing season adventure and our shared experiences coaching basketball together while living on a tropical island. He is currently preparing for a 100 mile race.
