Happy Monday guys!!! It's been a very busy weekend for me but still I do have the time to fly my drones after finishing a portrait sessions with my client at this hotel, Shangrila Rasa Ria Tuaran which is located approximately 35km from Kota Kinabalu city. I've been enjoying my flight cruise until I realize that I've been orbiting the seems empty bay watch chair actually got a security guard sitting under the blue umbrella. What a blunder and because of this I have to cut short my flight. My friend at the time @tommyl33 was my spotter and he saw the security guard has been looking around maybe trying to locate who is the pilot of the drone and he start communicating with his walkie talkie. My original plan is to discharge my 5 lipo's battery because it was unused from my previous job.

This is the only footage I managed to get because of the blunder I make. There's still so much to explore but I have to cut it short and maybe come back again in the future to fly around but this time with more caution to the surrounding. It's very hard to see the security guard in my goggle and when I realize it, it's already too late. I've been orbiting him for around 1 minutes already. A lesson learned for the future flight in this place.

Hello Asian Hive Community. I think this is my first post in this community. I have been following this group for quite some time now but just don't have the opportunity to post an entry due to my hectic schedule. I've been procrastinating to create a post entry for a long time now afraid that I'm not posting a relevent topic in this community.

I also just recently being active back in Hive community for the last 4 months since migrating from the former steemit community. Just that I'm not consistently posting an entry. Coming to this new year 2022, I'm hoping to post consistently at least 1 entry per week as now i'm juggling between the commitment of my freelance business in videography and photography which recently has been active back. For almost half a year in 2021 I spend most of my time at home because of the lock down and most of my job got cancelled or postponed. So, my post entry today is a video of aerial footage that i have taken during my visit to Mantanani Island on the month of July 2019. This is a photo outing trip organized by my fellow enthusiast photographer and this is my first time joining such a trip. It's very enjoying and fun trip because we are free to roam around the tiny island to take picture.

The Mantanani Islands, form a small group of three islands off the north-west coast of the state of Sabah, Malaysia, opposite the town of Kota Belud in North Borneo. The video I posted here is the largest island of the three, Mantanani Besar. The other two are Mantanani Kecil and Lungisan. During the Pre Covid Pandemic, this island is very popular with tourist internationally and locally. Mostly tourist from China and Korea are the largest visitor to this island before the pandemic happen. Now, this island is slowly being open back to the local people for tourism. The distance from the main jetty at Kuala Abai, Kota Belud district to this island is about 1 hour of boat ride crossing the South China Sea. As you can see from the video, there's a small village at the centre of this island which have the population of around 1,024 people. During my visit here, we live in one of the village homestay which is quite cheap compare to the resort in the island. Even the house hospitality is very good, we were given 3 times meal per day by our host. Unfortunately, I already forgot how much we pay for the accomodation but it's very cheap, less than 30 US Dollar for 2 days 1 night stay with food provided.

I will be back again to this island in the future as there is still so much to discover. During this trip, I didn't have the opportunity to visit the other 2 island and also going for snorkeling as I'm very focused on exploring around the main island only. It seems 2 days is not enough and next time I might extend it for another few more days. Hopefully things will get better this year for traveling again.

Hello everyone. Happy Christmas eve!!! I would like to share my short clips of Rx signal lost compilations. This will be my record for the future reference. Because of this experience, I have decided to upgrade my radio control link to TBS crossfire for a better signal quality, penetration and range. I'm quite traumatic with this experience as I will have lost my quad for real next time and I don't want to take the risk again. This is a preparation for my future job that will require drone aerial footage. Have a great holiday everyone!!!!

Happy weekend!!! It's almost the end of the week when I write this posting of my drone footage that I have taken at Batu Luang, Kuala Penyu last 2 days ago. This is my first flight outside of my usual training ground and to be honest, I'm very nervous about flying in this condition because of the trauma of sudden failsafe triggered when the signal is lost. This happen to me last month where i've been only flying about 5 meter and the failsafe triggered. My quad suddenly drop at about 10 meters high or maybe a little more and crash into a pool. Thank goodness that my quad is able to survive the crash and able to fly again without any problems.

The other reason of my reluctance to fly the drone is my safety because i was alone in this trip and I'm kinda worried that something unthinkable happen during my flight. Well, in the end I just take the step and just fly the drone by leaving the worries behind. After the first battery pack I feel quite liberated and confident to fly as the transmitter signal seems to be ok within the range I fly. I didn't push it too far yet as this is my first time flying in this location. Usually it will take a few more session flying in this place for me to get used with the environment and gauging the RC signal to determine my flight path and distance.

My second battery pack is where I mount my Insta360 Go 2 to get a clear video footage and it's the 3rd battery pack is when I feel quite confident with the environment and especially the RC signal. I could have push it to fly more distance but the timing is just not right as the sun is about to set and I'm losing the lights. Plus it's a high tide and the wind gust is slightly strong for my quad to handle a long flight. I'm not risking losing my quad by crashing to the sea when this is the only quad I have right now. This will be consider my location recce and I will be back again soon with friends. I'm going to tag my friend so that we can plan the next trip to place sometime next year. I hoped you enjoy my cruising. Cheerss!!!

This is a user experience session for my friend to convince him to buy a set of fpv drones and it went succesfully. Soon he will be receiving his first transmitter controller to practice in Simulation game. There are 3 of us in this footage and only one needed convincing. An attempt considered successfully in adding a member to the fpv drones hobby. Looking forward to the future flying activities with all three of us. Owh, there's one more person to recruit later when he's free to attend this user experience session next time.
