Before the message there is a testimony flowing from last week’s message on promises. The text is John 15:15-16. The subtext is Genesis 18-19.

In this third installment in the Friend of God series, Pastor Ian looks into Abraham’s responses after his first battle victory and the encounter with God that follows (Genesis 14-15). This encounter anchors the concept of salvation by faith when Abraham believes God’s promises and it is reckoned to him as righteousness. The principle text continues to be John 15:15-16.
