Luke, an award-winning singer-songwriter hailing from the picturesque Carolina mountains, has become a beloved figure in the country music scene. Known for his incredible voice and proficiency in multiple instruments, Luke's songs are heartfelt narratives of real life, resonating deeply with audiences. His music is a tribute to the greats of classic country, drawing influences from the 1940s through the 1990s, creating a seamless blend that makes it difficult to distinguish his songs from those of his heroes.
Gene plays keyboards in the band and also plays bass guitar and guitar and has been playing professionally since 1977. His major influences include Rick Nelson, Don Henley, Johnny Rivers, Paul McCartney, Johnnie Johnson, Eric Clapton, Chuck Berry, and Billy Peek.
Prior to putting Butch Wax together in 1986, Gene played in the bands “Ruckus”, “Windfall”, and “Route 66” and in Billy Peek’s band. His professional highlights include getting to meet and perform with many of the musicians that inspired and influenced him. Gene recalls, “I remember getting a phone call to audition with a band that Billy Peek was putting together. Billy had been lead guitarist with Rod Stewart for several years in the 70’s and had played with Chuck Berry and Johnnie Johnson before that. It was 1981 and Billy had just left Rod’s band. Billy’s new band would lean heavily on Chuck Berry Music and the Blues. I loved that style of music and Billy played it with so much passion and energy. I was thrilled to get the gig! Billy introduced me to Chuck Berry, Johnnie Johnson, and Carmine Appice and I got to play with all of them. Chuck and Johnnie would periodically stop into clubs that we were playing and sit in with us. Johnnie and I became good friends and he recorded with Butch Wax on all of our CD’s and sports songs.

A country singer and songwriter from the great State of North Carolina. He grew up singing in church, and as a teen was inspired by the storytelling and passion of country music and the joy it brought him.
At that time, around age 15, He began writing and performing country music professionally, fronting multiple bands in North Carolina before moving to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in 2016 where he formed The Trey Calloway Band. He has been playing the eastern tour circuit ever since and, after moving to Nashville in 2022, He has been a regularly featured act at the legendary Alan Jackson’s Good Time Bar.

McMeel was able to replace the drummer of Chaka Khan and became a studio band where he was featured in several hits like Everlasting Love by Carl Carlton. Then, the producer of Three Dog Night came to him and said the band had broken up and so he joined the band in 1974.

Since 1966, Gadsden band The Tyn Tymes has been releasing music with an R&B/soul feel that specifically relates to the “beach music” genre.
The 10-member “party band” currently consists of Jerry Rickles, Ronnie Cornutt, Benny Leverton, Lowell Shirey, Charlie Freeman, Lanny and Danny Thomas, Ken Striplin, Curtis Burttram, Brian Bankston and Carl Sharpe. It recently signed a new record deal with Bentley Records.
The contract will allow the band to release new music in the form of singles by sending the company their songs for them to distribute to their network of radio stations and the Internet.

Hank Parker is a professional bass fisherman. In 1979 and 1989, Parker won the Bassmaster Classic, making him one of only four anglers to win the event more than once.
Additionally, Parker was the first angler to win the Grand Slam of competitive bass fishing after winning the Classic, B.A.S.S Angler of the Year, and the B.A.S.S SuperBass Tournament.
Parker was inducted into the Bass Fishing Hall of Fame in 2003, and the Legends of the Outdoors Hall of Fame in 2006.
Along with his fishing career, Parker also hosts Hank Parker’s Outdoor Magazine on Pursuit Channel.
