In this episode, we dive into the topic of speaking in tongues. This is a common practice among Pentecostal churches, but the importance does vary. Many people ask, "Do I need to speak in tongues to go to Heaven?". However, I believe the more accurate question is, "Do I need to be born again?". Jesus made it clear that you do need to be born again in John chapter 3:1-8. The issue is, what does that mean? Nicodemus was confused when he first heard it, and I believe many people are still confused today. I'm going break down something you may have never noticed in John 3:8 and then connect the word "Sound" in that scripture with the events that took place in the book of Acts.

In this episode, we dive into the topic of Cessationism. This is a doctrinal idea that the gifts of the Spirit have ceased, and that they are not for the church today. In this episode, we talk about how God gave us a house in the middle of a housing shortage, and complete strangers walked up to us in Home Depot and paid for our paint. We also had a man pay for a brand new bathroom to be built in our storefront church, and many other miracles to show us that God always provides.

God called me to the city of Decatur, AL to plant a new UPCI Church. Prophecies were spoken, prayers were answered, ideas were divenly confirmed. Throughout this process, there was little doubt that God had His hand in in. I was hungry for God's purpose in my life, and He revealed it to me.
