The day I first truly saw Jesus is burned intomy memory for the rest of my life. The simultaneous death and resurrection Iexperienced in that moment was wonderful and overwhelming. I am stilldiscovering the implications of it all. If you have not seen Jesus yet, I hopeyou will draw near to him and that he will draw near to you. If you have seenJesus, I hope that you will, along with me and the great cloud of witnesseswith us, "lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, andlet us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, thefounder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before himendured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of thethrone of God" (Hebrews 12:1b-2).
