With the new year right around the corner, many of us will begin reflecting on the past year, as well as our hopes for the coming year. While this is a great practice and often yields excellent results, I want to challenge you to take the time to reflect on your entire life. Maybe this year has been challenging for you, instead of focusing on the negative, take time to reflect on all of the things both good and bad that have made up the story that is your life. When you focus on the bigger picture, it makes some of life’s challenges seem small. Think of all of the times God has been faithful to you in the past. Enter this new year with a confident assurance that no matter what the year brings, God will be with you.
Merry Christmas everyone! We know that Jesus is the reason for the season and for this episode I wanted to keep it simple and read the story of the birth of Jesus found in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke.

Even when you’re tired, even when you’re weary, even when you don’t see the fruit of your labor, know that God is working all things together for your good. Keep pressing on! You’re closer than you think.
David walked into the room a shepard boy and walked out of the room a king. Gideon walked into the wine press afraid, and came out a mighty warrior. When you walk into the room people may not recognize who God has called you to be. You may not see yourself the way God sees you. You may not know who He created you to be or what He created you to do but, He wants you to know. He has an amazing plan for your future far greater than anything you could ever imagine. Ask God today to show you how He sees you. His opinion is the one that matters most!
God has a perfect plan for each and every one of our lives and He wants us to know what it is! If you are searching for your purpose, start with praying and asking God what His purpose is for your life. God’s will and purpose for your life will align with His Word. Remember Proverbs 3 5:6.
Have you ever wondered how much God loves you? Maybe you’ve heard people express how important it is that you to experience God’s love but you aren’t sure that you have ever felt it. Are you in a season of waiting but not really sure what to do? Do you feel the need to figure things out on your own? Are you worried that time is running out? Remember that God’s timing is perfect and He works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. We just need to be patient and allow God to work in us, through us, and around us. There are so many situations that are out of our control and we just need to step aside and allow God to be God. He knows what’s best.
Welcome back! It’s season 5 and there have been some changes! Real Talk is now Talk About Real!! Even though the name has changed, the show is still the same! God is still in charge and all of the content continues to come from Him! This episode is on faith, particularly the faith of Jesus’s mother, Mary. Sometimes God requires us to have big faith and Mary gives us a great example of what it means to have faith and believe that God will do what He says He will do.
Have you ever wondered why or how human beings exist? Have you been searching for answers about the meaning of life? In this episode we tackle some of those questions and find the answers for them in God’s word.
There is freedom in letting go of past hurts. The pain of holding onto the hurt is often times worse than the pain of the original hurt itself. Jesus wants to set you free today! Choose to lay your burdens at His feet and find rest for your soul.
“So often we want to skip through the wilderness and step right into the promise. So often we focus on the destination and not the journey. When we’re focused on living in the promise land, we miss all that God has for us on the journey to get there.”
Even though we can’t always see what the future holds, we know The One who does. He loves us and wants the very best for us. Walking in faith means that we put our trust in Him and allow Him to lead our way, even when we don’t know where He is taking us.
1 Peter 5:7 tells us to cast our cares upon Him for He cares for us! That’s right, God cares about you! He cares about all the details of your life, even the smallest ones. Whatever is burdening you, bring it to Jesus and let him lift that burden off your shoulders.
Before God sends you, He’ll prepare you! You may already be familiar with the process of preparation but it never hurts to learn more! In this episode I outline some of things you may encounter on your journey to your God given destination.
Do you ever struggle with the thought that you’re not doing enough for God? Maybe you compare your walk with someone else’s. Just know He loves you no matter what. He calls you friend and sees the potential in you that you may not see yet. Ask God to reveal to you how much you mean to Him!
Most of us, if not all of us have experienced what it is like to wait on God. Perhaps you have been praying for the health of a loved one, or maybe it’s to see someone saved. Whatever it is that you are waiting on, you can’t trust that God hears you and He is working on it.
In this episode I share a recent dream I had about taking a leap of faith. I hope this encourages sometime to draw near to God and trust His plan. Just know that He will carry you wherever you go.
This episode concludes the three part series on The Trinity. In this episode I share a heart to heart personal encounter with God The Father. I hope that my experience helps anyone who might be questioning The Father’s love for them. His love never fails ❤️

The concept of The Trinity can be difficult for us to wrap our heads around. We wonder how is God, The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit all in one? In this episode I try to explain the Trinity in a way that we can all understand. I also briefly go into detail about the role of The Holy Spirit in the lives of believers.
As Christ followers we are to live a life that leads others to Him. We are called to be Christ-like and just as Jesus did not condemn others for their sins we are to do the same. If we want to live a life that is pleasing to God then let’s live a life of love.
On this episode I sit down with Victoria and we discuss what it means to love as God has called us to love.
In this episode we talk about the importance of living in The Spirit, knowing The Word, and having a prayer life. As believers we can easily be led astray if the foundation of our faith is not firmly planted in Christ. In this episode we talk about how to keep from being led astray by false teachers and how to spot them. We also discuss ways to keep from becoming one.
Deciding to follow Jesus is the most important decision we will ever make. In this episode we talk about what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus and to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. The joy, peace, and freedom that comes from a relationship with Christ is like nothing the world can provide. He fills us with His love and changes our lives for the better! You don’t want to miss this episode!
Have you been weighed down with guilt and shame from past sins? Or have you been striving to prove to God that you are worthy of salvation? We can let go of all of that and walk in the freedom of God’s grace because of the sacrifice His son Christ Jesus made for us. Believing that Jesus died for our sins puts us in right standing with God. We explore these truths found in The Word of God on this episode of RealTalk
The words we speak are more important than we realize. They hold the power of life and death. They can build up or tear down. They can encourage or they can discourage. They can teach or they can torment. Our words have the ability to change lives forever. Let’s choose to speak life!
In this episode I share my testimony of how God blessed my husband and I with two little miracle babies after many years of suffering from infertility. Go heard our prayers and the prayers of others on our behalf and He answered them! I also share some awesome God encounters I had right before and right after giving birth to my second child. I hope that this episode encourages mothers and mothers-to-be to never give up and never stop praying for your miracle!
Sometimes we become consumed with things that seem harmless but before we know it they have become idols in our lives. Matthew 6 vs 19-21 says “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in or steal. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” It’s important that we set aside earthly treasures and focus our minds on things above!
Worshiping God is a great blessing that He bestows upon us. Worshiping God glorifies Him and brings Him great joy. Many of us are not sure how to worship God or we think we are not doing it right. Let’s take the pressure off, and learn what it means to worship God. In this episode we talk about what it means to worship God in Spirit and in Truth. My hope is that this episode will encourage you to boldly worship the King of Kings!
In this episode I share an encounter I had with Jesus at I time where I needed Him most. God will never leave us nor forsake us and we can trust Him to be with us through the storms.
Do feel that God is trying to get you to slow down so that you can Hear His voice? God longs to speak to us and He has so much to say but often times we do not take the time to listen. One of the enemy’s goal is to distract us from God and the things of God. We must put God first in everything. Take time to hear God speak to your heart today!
On this episode we have the honor of listening to a very special guest, who just so happens to be my sister, Shawna! Shawna shares how God was so faithful during a season of trials and how with God she had the victory over every obstacle that came her way. We hope that this encourages anyone going through a difficult time and we want you to know that with God you have the victory too!
Happy Holy Week! Tomorrow is Easter Sunday and I wanted to release a special episode sharing what the Lord has laid on my heart this Easter. I pray that it helps anyone who needs to hear it!
We’ve all felt the hurt and pain of being judged by others. But so often we judge others ourselves. It could be because of the clothes they wear, the way they speak, how much money they have, where there were raised, or even color of their skin. We all need to put judgment aside and embrace love as Jesus has so lovingly commanded us. Let’s make it our decision from this moment forward to never judge anyone again! Only love 💕
Proverbs 3 vs 5-6 says “Trust in The Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all of your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” We know that God is a good God and that His plans for us are to prosper us and to give us a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). We can trust Him with the little things and the big things. We can trust Him with our families, our finances, our hopes and dreams, and our future. So let go and trust Him today!
Have you received a promise from God? Are you currently waiting for His promise to come to pass but feeling discouraged in the waiting? Would you like to know what God’s plan is for your life? God loves when we pray and ask Him to reveal to us what His plan is for our lives. God has a plan for each and every one of us! If your are waiting for God’s promise to come to pass don’t give up! His plan and purpose will always come to pass as long as you don’t give up.
So many of us want to enjoy the results of being refined but not many of us want to go through the process. When God does the work we can know that the outcome will be beyond our wildest dreams. Trust God through the trials and allow Him to use them to grow you.
Are you struggling to forgive someone? Do you wonder why as Christian’s God calls us to forgive others? Would you like to know how to forgive? If you answered yes to any of those questions then this is the episode for you! Jesus loves you and wants you to live an abundant life. Forgiveness is part of that! Listen & Enjoy
This episode is for anyone who has ever been bound by fear and or anxiety. Whether you are dealing with it now, or have dealt with it in the past, I want you to know that there is hope!
God has given each of us the ability to choose right from wrong, good from evil. He created us with free will. He also instructs us in His Word on how we should live our lives. We know that when we choose our own will, it leads to destruction. God is merciful and gracious to us, He gave us His son Christ Jesus to die for our sins. When we choose to accept Jesus into our hearts, and ask Him to forgive us our sin, we are made into new people. No longer living in the flesh. God gives us the opportunity to repent when we make the wrong choices but by living in the Holy Spirit, resisting the devil, and reading the word of God, we can live out God’s will for our lives.
In this episode I share a recent breakthrough I had with the ongoing sleep paralysis I have been experiencing for many years. By speaking and believing God’s truth into any situation, the enemy has no choice but to leave us alone. I hope this encourages someone who needs a breakthrough in whatever situation you are facing!
Letting go of things that are not meant for us can be difficult at times, but God knows what is best for us and He wants us to live abundant lives. So if you feel that God is calling you to let go of something, this is the episode for you!
Revelation 1:18 says, 18 I am He that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ holds the keys to death and the grave. Jesus has been given all power and authority in heaven and earth (Matthew 29:18). In this episode I share a dream that showed me how powerless satan truly is to believers.
In this episode we talk about the truth behind witchcraft and the occult. We read scripture and learn about God’s heart on the subject.
Have you ever experienced a time in your life where you knew you were exactly where God wanted you to be? Have you ever witnessed the miraculous take place in your life after being obedient to God? I like to think of that as Divine Placement. In this episode we talk about how Divine Placement impacted the lives of all of God’s people.
Christmas time is finally here! Whether you’re excited for the holiday or struggling to get into the holiday spirit, remember that Jesus is our comforter and the true source of joy! He is the best gift the world has ever received!! Merry CHRISTmas!
As Jesus tells us in John 10:10, Satan’s plan is to seek and kill and destroy but Jesus came that we may have life and have it more abundantly. Satan might have an evil plan for our lives but we know that God’s will for our lives is good and pleasing and perfect Romans 12:2. In this episode I share a dream which serves as a warning ⚠️. The dream shows the difference between God’s perfect plan and Satans evil plan for our lives.
On this episode my husband Brad and I share what God has done in our marriage. We want to encourage other couples to allow God to work in their relationships and we hope that sharing our story will show others that with God anything is possible!
When is it ok for Christians to become angry? Should the things of this world bother us? Let’s seek God’s word to answer some of these questions.

On this episode, we have the pleasure of chatting with Victoria who has had many life changing encounters with God through reading His Word. Victoria shares her heart on how powerful scripture is, and she offers some excellent advice on how to get the most out of reading the Bible.
In 2 Corinthians Chapter 12 verses 7-10 The Apostle Paul talks about the thorn in his flesh which God has allowed to remain in Paul’s life in order to keep him from becoming proud. Maybe many of us have different kinds of thorns in the flesh that we wish would just go away. Whatever that thorn is, it shows us that there is a power greater than ourselves that we so desperately need. In this episode I talk about the thorn in my flesh which is sleep paralysis. I share an awesome story about what God has recently revealed to me and how this experience can help others dealing with the thorn in their flesh. Thanks so much for listening!
On the episode I share one of my favorite Bible stories and also my own person God story about Daniel in the Lion’s Den. Listen and Enjoy! 😊
