- What is the source of our thoughts? Our thoughts are determined by our self-worth, which is influenced by our self-perception and our relationship with our creator. We need to guard our heart, which is our subconscious mind, from negative and false information that can lower our valuation and limit our potential.
- What is the relationship between the purpose of creation and our self-concept? We were created in God's image and likeness, with a special gift and a purpose to serve others and impact the world. We need to discover and express our gift, not copy or imitate others, or seek their approval. We need to pursue God with everything we have, and then we will discover both him and ourselves.
- How to increase our altitude? Our altitude is the height to which our heart aspires, and it depends on the information that is in it. We need to change the content of our heart with the truth that aligns us with our source, our creator. We need to believe in our value and significance to the world, and give value to others. We need to have a healthy sense of self-esteem, which is our estimation of our value and usefulness to the world.

- The change requirement: Marilyn acknowledges that change is difficult and we don't want to embrace it. We want to continue to do what we enjoy doing or feel comfortable doing. But she asserts that change is the requirement for success. She exhorts us to put off our old self, put on our unique self, and run the race with joy all the way to our definition of success.

- We need to seek the truth that will set us free from the lane of fear and lead us to the lane of success. The truth is not based on our personal opinion, experience, or emotion, but on the word of God and the facts and data that support our goals.
