While things of this world tell us to turn away from our Lord and Saviour lets lean into growing in our faith and allowing God to take absolute control of our lives. Take every step by moving with faith, grace and love.
Your stubbornness is keeping you from improving as a person: Whether that’s in your career, relationships, emotional maturity, or other areas, stubbornness can hold us back. In 1 Samuel 15 exemplifies being rebellious and disobedient to the Mighty One. The Bible warns us that stubbornness can lead to destruction and rejection. In Isaiah 30-- warns us about the obstinate nation, but radically incorporating even though you reject the teacher, He still wants you.
It’s not always easy to be optimistic when it comes to your future plans. Romans 8:28 tells us to accept in difficult circumstances that “All things work together for those who love God and are called according to His purpose” Be hopeful even in the tough season, pray, and worship. Let gratitude be your constant state of mind.
A safe space can vary depending on the person. Some people may say their home, car, job or in someone else's arms. Have you ever thought about God being your place of refuge? Consider this, in Proverbs 18:10 reminds us that the Name of the Lord is a fortified tower to the righteous. He name is above all names and will grant you peace when you call onto Him. It may be hard to wrap your head around it but consider it fully and know that the Lord will always protect his own.
What to expect with the unexpected! The history of the Israelites being brought out of Egypt serves as a reminder to you and I that the Lord hears our cries and will not stop to bring us to a point of happiness. While the Lord intentions is to have us set up and provided for it may startle us where God really wants to take us. Hop into this episode where you'll be able to take the next step with your faith and allowing El Shaddai to lead you without any complaints. Be still and know that He is God.
Everyone is different when it comes to handling tough times, suffering and even pain. I believe that Job serves as a monumental example on how some of us may react towards the Lord. His life showcased that we may have it all one day, but without humbleness we may be thrown into the ring to teach us a lesson. Dive into Move with Faith every week with the host Da'Jua and learn more about inserting the Lord in our lives in every situation. Taking a leap out on faith is extremely hard to do, especially when you don't know where the next meal or dollar is coming from. Samson amongst other people mentioned in the Bible taught us a valuable lesson about faith in our Father, in the midst of being manipulated by a partner. In Psalm 119:25 states 'I lie in the dust; revive me by your word.' Contained in the pages of the Scripture is hope, encouragement and healing. Whatever endeavor you're pursuing, just keep our Father first in all you do. As we know, keeping a secret can be a little difficult to do. When you're in the position to share or try to keep a secret it often puts us in a predicament of either gaining or losing the trust of someone. In Luke 1, leading up to the birth of John the Baptist, the angel Gabriel showed us what needed to happen so the cat wouldn't be let out of the bag before the appointed time. In most cases, we need to keep the secret God has revealed to us until He tells us it's time to move. In this week's episode we'll be discussing how we're able to hold the water and tea God has given us. If you have any suggestions, questions or comments leave it in the DM's https://www.instagram.com/dajmonet/ ^_^ Love you family!
What's going on Move with Faith Family! Happy Women's Day ^ _^ This week's topic we're speaking on Self-Control. In Galations 5:22-23, Apostle Paul gave us the literally cheat code of what the fruits of the Spirits are. God's Holy Bible was given as the cheat sheet on how to live in our society today. Practice on being patience and kindness to one yourself and others. Have anything GOOD happened in your life lately? If so, shoot a message to the host on Instagram @DajMonet.
Resilience is a character trait we can all learn to develop. Being able to keep pushing forward in the face of adversity is necessary for anyone seeking to go above and beyond. As a believer, you will be tried but in those moments is when we need to drive deeper into our faith. Similar to Hannah's story in 1 Samuel 1-- she remained calm while being treated with malice and contempt. Remember to invite God into the tough situations when you're ready to react in a negative way. There is power in your tongue, speak words of beauty and of love. MwF Family! Be sure to share this podcast, spread the good news + act!
Whats up MwF Fam! The battle is not yours and we're able to pray against the enemy ways through the TRUST in God. 1 Peter 5:7 advises us to Cast all our cares onto him. When we feel discouraged and need to be lifted, we should go into our sacred place and seek his beautiful face. Do not let your stubborn heart to cause you to stumble. Ways to trust God: First, open your heart, secondly be vulnerable, thirdly trust and then confined in him. Joy and happiness is only truly found in HIM. If you would like to share some GOOD NEWS that transpired in your world send it via DM on Instagram @ Dajmonet! I would love to hear from you all. Thank you again for tuning in!
Hi MwF Fam! This week, your host Da'Jua took a different route than the usual. In the season of love, we must strengthen our Spirit while learning how to control what our flesh desires. Being led by the Spirit will lead you directly to the source, but when you're driven by the works and ways of the world it'll cause you to stumble. Be strong and courageous in the season of singleness-- do not let being single make you turn over back from where God delivered you from. Get up and do the work! Switching things up, we'll like to share the GOOD NEWS! Whatever was GOOD NEWS for you in the past week you'll like to share, slide in your sister in Christ DM Instagram https://www.instagram.com/dajmonet/ I love you family!
“You have the freedom to choose, but you’re not free from the consequences of those choices.” Frank Sonnenberg. God has given us free will, which we can either choose the way way of life or the way of damnation. Speaking from Psalm 119 and 1 Kings 9 to get the biblical understanding of how our predecessors were. In Mark 14:32 advise us how Jesus felt before being turned over to his enemies. Asking Abba, the Father to take the cup from him so he can do the will of the Lord and not on his own. Learning from Jesus' emotions in the moment, reminds me that we should allow God to do the work he planned out for us. Not being deterred by how we feel or what we want but just following instructions completely.
Since day one you've known about the Father, Abba. When his son, Jesus came to spread the gospel and perform miracles to show who is true and give us the understanding of what's to come (1 John 5:20)-- we had the chance to accept the truth. Utilizing worldly experiences and the Holy Scripture to showcase that he is the truth and the light.
Faithfulness plays an important part with following Christ Jesus. You’re a steward over what you can handle first, then the Lord will bless you with more. Faith produces an abundance where Yahweh can expand your growth. In what ways can we remain faithful during the good, bad, and the ugly? Welcome to Move with Faith! My name is Da'Jua Monet and I will be your host. On today's episode (literally first one! yay!!) we'll be speaking from
- Deut 28, Joshua and a few more books. We're living in a world where speaking towards the truth is being silenced, but we're here to put a stop to that. Through Lord Jesus Christ, he's given us the choice to continue to live in sin or repent and follow him fully. It will cost you-- your old life, are you down?
