Let’s talk about Incarnational Evangelization. Some of you may have never heard of this, some of you might be so familiar with it that it triggers you, but regardless as Catholics we are called to live out discipleship in an incarnational way. This week Courtney and Meghan remind us of what it means to live this out daily, how they have been doing it recently in their lives and how they used to live this out as full time Catholic missionaries. This is the gut check you need to keep pursuing the call that our Lord has given us all: to love Christ Jesus and fulfill His Great Commission.

Girls let’s talk about humility for a second. It’s one of the most important virtues that we can have and yet it’s the one that we so easily avoid due to discomfort. Praying the Litany of Humility is scary, being prideful is easy, and our culture makes it so effortless to be arrogant in our daily decision making, so how can we stand out as bold Catholic women and go against the grain? That’s what Courtney and Meghan discuss this week—the how-to be humble guide on being a truly humble daughter of God and how hard it is to practice this virtue.

Do I really need to become a Saint? What does it mean to be “holy?” Why do I need to deny myself in the comforts of this world? All of these questions are so valid, and we’re here to talk about it. It’s so easy to become numb to the pursuit of holiness and to stop caring about being in Heaven for eternity, but we must push this apathetic attitude out of our life and take this pursuit of Heaven seriously.

Why convert to Catholicism? What is the Protestant church actually like? What is a Protestant? All of these questions are so real and raw, and this week Courtney and Meghan get into it as two Catholic converts that were raised Protestant. This conversations feels like it was just the tip of the iceberg. They get into the sacraments of confession, baptism and confirmation, as well as other practices and rituals that they were raised on in their non-denominational faith—what’s so beautiful is how it all comes back to Catholicism and how the Catholic Church is truly home.

In this episode of Daily Nothings, we explore discretion as a Catholic virtue and why it matters so much for Catholic women navigating modern life. In a culture shaped by social media, oversharing, and constant visibility, discretion can feel countercultural, yet it is essential for protecting the heart and cultivating a strong interior life.

This conversation looks at what discretion means in the Catholic life, how it relates to boundaries, dating, friendships, and modesty, and why choosing not to share everything can be an act of wisdom, self-respect, and trust in God. We also reflect on how Catholic women can practice discretion online, in relationships, and in their spiritual lives without becoming closed off or distant.

Sometimes things don’t go according to plan… actually, most of the time they don’t 😅

In today’s episode, we’re talking all about what it looks like when life doesn’t go your way. After the high of SEEK, Courtney got super sick and found herself forced into rest she definitely didn’t ask for. She opens up about how she got through that season, what the Lord revealed to her in the stillness, and how surrender can look very different than we expect.

We reflect on disappointment, unmet expectations, and how God can still work so powerfully when our plans fall apart. If you’re walking through something that feels frustrating, confusing, or just plain unfair, this conversation is for you 🤍

Quick audio note: Courtney is using a brand new mic today, so the audio may sound a little different than usual. We apologize for any weirdness — it’ll be smoothed out and back to normal next week!

As always, thanks for being here with us. We love you. 💌

We recorded this episode LIVE at SEEK 2026 in Columbus, Ohio from the St. Paul Center booth, and it was such a fun, chaotic, joy-filled experience. In true Daily Nothings fashion, this episode feels like a cozy Patreon-style catch-up… just with a lot more background noise and energy.

We’re diving into all of our favorite segments, including What’s the Tea in our lives, Daily Somethings we’re currently loving, Daily No Thanks (because not everything is a vibe), plus the songs we’ve had on repeat and recipes we can’t stop making. It’s an honest, unfiltered conversation straight from the heart of SEEK.

Because this was a live podcast recording at a busy conference, the audio quality may sound a little different than usual — thank you for your grace as we bring you this special episode straight from the floor.

If you love real conversations, Catholic conference culture, lifestyle chats, faith-filled fun, and feeling like you’re hanging out with friends, this episode is for you.

In today’s episode of The Daily Nothings Podcast, we’re sharing our word of the year and talking all about why choosing a word can be a more meaningful alternative to traditional New Year’s resolutions.

We walk through how we chose our word, what it represents for this season of life, and how we’re using it as a guide for intention setting, personal growth, and everyday decision-making throughout the year. We also talk about letting go of pressure, setting realistic goals, and creating space for growth that feels sustainable and grounded.

If you’re searching for your own word of the year, feeling stuck with New Year goal setting, or craving a slower, more thoughtful way to approach personal development, this episode will help you reflect, reset, and move forward with clarity.

Whether you’re setting intentions for the new year, reevaluating your goals, or simply looking for encouragement as you step into this season, we hope this conversation meets you right where you are.

Trigger Warning: Miscarriage

In this deeply personal episode of The Daily Nothings, Meghan opens up about her recent miscarriage and the emotional, physical, and spiritual journey that followed. With honesty, vulnerability, and the comfort of being back behind the mic with Courtney, she shares the realities of miscarriage that so many women experience but often carry alone.

We talk about the waves of grief, the confusion and fear, the unexpected steadiness, and the quiet moments of gratitude that can coexist in loss. Whether you’ve walked through miscarriage yourself or you’re supporting someone who has, this conversation offers compassion, understanding, and practical ways to show up for one another.

Our hope is that this episode helps you feel seen, less isolated, and gently supported—no matter where you are in your own story.

Curious how the Catholic Church selects the Sunday readings and why they seem to connect so perfectly? In this episode, we unpack the structure of Catholic liturgy, the purpose of the Lectionary, and the surprising logic behind the weekly readings. Turns out the Church has been curating a storyline long before “curated content” was a trend.

Featuring Ken Ogorek, longtime catechetical leader and co-author (with Scott Hahn) of Breaking the Bread. Ken has spent more than three decades forming Catholics through diocesan leadership, national catechetical work, and his writings, including youth and adult catechisms. He currently serves on the pastoral staff of the Archdiocese of Indianapolis and brings a clear, practical approach to understanding Scripture, liturgy, and the Church’s teaching.

Find Scott Hahn and Ken Ogorek's Breaking the Bread devotional here! https://stpaulcenter.com/store/products?q=&page=1&refinementList=%7B%22tags%22%3A%5B%22Breaking%20the%20Bread%22%5D%7D

Discussion Questions:

  1. What does your relationship with praying with Scripture look like right now? Are there particular ways of praying with the Word that draw you in?
  2. Do you have a favorite Scripture passage you return to when you pray? What makes it so meaningful for you?
  3. How might the Lord be inviting you to pray more intentionally with Scripture—especially the Sunday readings? What small, practical steps can you take to weave Scripture into your daily prayer rhythm?

This one’s for the loud girl — the one who laughs too hard, talks too much, and sometimes wonders if she’s too much. In this episode, Courtney and Jane dive into the beauty and chaos of being bold, outspoken, and authentic — especially in the world of dating. From confidence and calling to the art of holy boldness and navigating relationships with grace, this conversation reminds every “loud girl” that her voice has a purpose — and it’s meant to be heard.

Discussion Questions:

  1. Have you ever felt like you had to “tone yourself down” to be more likable or approachable? Why do you think so many women feel that pressure?
  2. How can being confident and outspoken actually reflect God’s design for femininity?
  3. What does it look like to honor who God made you to be—in friendships, work, and relationships—without apologizing for it?

What does it really mean to live to the heights? In this episode of The Daily Nothings, Courtney and Meghan dive into the life and legacy of St. Pier Giorgio Frassati—a Catholic young adult who lived with contagious joy, deep faith, and a bold love for others.

As the patron of SEEK and a model for modern Catholic missionaries, Pier Giorgio shows us how to live our faith with authenticity, courage, and humor in the ordinary moments of life. From mountain hikes to mission fields, his “little yeses” changed everything.

Join us as we talk about how his story still inspires Catholic young adults, missionaries, and anyone seeking holiness in the modern world.

Discussion Questions:

  1. Have you been to SEEK before? If so, how did you encounter God? If not, what is another moment where you really encountered Christ?
  2. What about St. Pier Giorgio Frassati strikes you? What do you want to learn more about him?
  3. Since SEEK falls on the first week of January, how are you hoping to encounter the Lord more in 2026?

We’ve all been there — saying “yes” to too much, drinking lukewarm coffee at 3 PM, and calling burnout “grind season.” But what if hustle culture isn’t holy? In this episode, Courtney and Meghan unpack the lie that constant productivity equals purpose.

They’ll talk about what it looks like to find rest in a world that glorifies overworking, why doing less can actually help you love God (and people) more, and how to stop measuring your worth by your to-do list.

If you’ve ever said, “I’ll rest when I’m done,” this one’s for you.

Shame, apathy, and the weight of sin— just a light topic for this week’s episode. Court and Meghan were chatting about the reality of their lives lately and realized the importance of confession and the sacraments that heavily combat the sins of apathy and shame. So grab your Catholic girlies, share this with your local community, and realize that we have to fight the evil one head on.

Discussion questions:

  1. Read Psalm 140 and share what stood out to you.

  2. Why do you think the sacrament of confession can feel so scary or dreadful?

  3. What are some of your preferred ways to hold each other accountable to go to confession regularly?

Pop culture is absolutely popping off this summer, and we thought a pulse check on how to be Catholic through it all was necessary. This week Court and Meghan chat through the Life of a Showgirl, spicy Belly & Conrad scenes, attachment to it all and how to respond as a Catholic girlie in 2025. We are called to be in the world but not of it—which means we can love these fads, but we must be detached. Let’s chat about this as the Catholic women that we are and spread the Gospel within our daily decisions.

Discussion Questions:

  1. What are your initial thoughts or reactions to the phrase “live in the world but not of the world”?
  2. In what areas of your life do you find it challenging to enjoy things in the world while still staying true to your Christian values?
  3. Are there things in your life you feel called to let go of in order to more fully follow Christ?

Welcome to season 6, Dailys. We are so excited you’re here! Here’s a quick pulse check—when’s the last time you were in a Bible Study or women’s small group? If you’re in one now, how committed are you to your community? A women’s Catholic community is so important for us to invest in, especially because we were not meant to pursue sainthood alone.

Discussion Questions (for your first small group gathering!)

1. Where are you currently at in your journey with Jesus Christ? Try to explain in 4 minutes or less!

2. Have two group members read Matthew 16: 13-23, with a 2 minute time of silence between the readings. What stood out to you when you prayed with this passage?

3. What are your hopes for this small group?

Whether you’re wrestling with imposter syndrome, asking if you’ll ever get married, or just want to feel seen in your spiritual walk, this episode is for you.

If you’re searching for a funny, relatable Catholic podcast for women, this one’s got your name on it. Think girl talk meets spiritual growth—with a little bit of sass.

Birthdays, anniversaries, big milestones in life—these are all moments that we celebrate differently and have different expectations towards. But, what if for a moment we really leaned into the beauty of celebrating every little moment and every little victory that the Lord gives us? This week, Court and Meghan chat through their personal preferences on how to celebrate life, while also being sure to celebrate others the way they desire to be celebrated, instead of solely making it about how you personally want it to be done. This might all feel vague, but it’s such an important “daily nothing” that can make life so much more fun & intentional.

We have turned Sundays into the day filled with deep cleaning, errands, meal prep and to do lists, when the Lord designed it for rest. On this Divine Mercy Sunday we reflect on the Gospel passage of doubting Thomas. Thomas has such difficulty believing in the risen Lord that he says he must touch Jesus’ wounds to believe. In that doubt, the Lord meets Thomas where he is at to help him come to believe. Our Lord is loving and merciful in a way we cannot comprehend. Let us celebrate this merciful love especially on this feast day!

Today we’re praying with Luke 24:13–35, the story of the road to Emmaus. We reflect on the beauty of walking with Jesus—even when we don’t yet recognize Him—and the powerful moment of recognition in the breaking of the bread. This passage reminds us of how important it is to invite Jesus into our homes and our hearts, just like the disciples did. It’s a moving metaphor for the Eucharist: when we welcome Him in, He reveals Himself in the most intimate, transformative way.

Welcome to Day 2 of our Daily Nothings Octave series! Meghan and Courtney are back, diving into the Gospel passage from Matthew 28: 8-15. Today, we’re reflecting on the powerful moment when the women at the tomb are fearful yet overjoyed—a feeling many of us know all too well in our Catholic journey. It’s a beautiful reminder that our faith often calls us to hold both fear and joy together, especially in moments of great change and transformation. Join us as we explore how this paradox is such a big part of being Catholic, and how we can live it out in our daily lives.

In this week's episode, Court and Meghan do a pulse check on Advent and get into some of the powerful fruits that they are already seeing from their time with Jesus and Mary in this liturgical season. We do the things we do not want friends, as St. Paul said in the book of Romans--and we are so struck by how true those words really are. Let's dive into why we continue to leave just a bit of room for evil in our lives instead of pursuing the Kingdom with everything we've got.

Sometimes we’ve just gotta ask for help. We are not meant to go about this journey alone as we pursue Heaven, and the accountability we have along the way (with both our friendships, family and the good ole Holy Spirit) is truly a game changer. In this week’s episode, Court & Meghan discuss the necessity that is leaning into the Holy Spirit and asking the Lord for help in even the smallest, most trivial tasks of our days. He wants to help with it all!

Do you really need another “me night?” Do you really need that alone time? Trust us, that introvert night is sacred and oh so loved by both Court and Meghan, but the real question is how are you spending that alone time? Are you just escaping and isolating? Or are you refueling and inviting Jesus into that time alone? Just something to ponder as we continue striving for Heaven together.

Fr. Logan Parrish joins Courtney & Meghan this week to discuss the ever constant questions, “Am I worthy of being loved?” “What do I have to do to gain love?” “How could the Lord love me?” These questions swirl around our heads far too often and this discussion is such a great recentering on the Truth the Lord has to share with us.

Picture this, you keep your gaze shifted up towards Heaven and only focus on these two things:

  1. Divine Intimacy with the Lord
  2. The big dreams He has in store for you in His will for your life.

If we simply stopped focusing on our plan and more so what desires He places on our hearts, we could do big things. Like really big.

The conviction is REAL. Today’s episode was inspired by the Litany of The Sacred Heart (can be found here: https://www.usccb.org/prayers/litany-sacred-heart-jesus) and you’re definitely going to want to keep this prayer in your back pocket after hearing it on the episode today. We dive into the ways we insult the heart of Jesus in our own daily nothings and how we can choose to console His heart instead.

When actually it’s just a bad MOMENT and not a bad DAY. Court and Meghan talk so much about this topic in this weeks episode and how to combat this tendency. Bella is a life coach currently working in Arizona with Witness To Love and specializing in helping other women heal in these areas of isolation. Our favorite photographer is here with Courtney this week on The Daily Nothings: Rachel Moore. Buckle up for an episode of giggles because we can barely keep it under control in this episode. This week Rachel breaks down the why behind that constant desire to snap a photo. Why are we always wanting to film our concerts, take pics of our food and drinks, go out to take cute pics with our girls and so much more? There’s a rooted desire there and we are so excited to share our chat and all of our thoughts with you in this episode.

I need a ~sidekick~ !! Okay but seriously, without sidekicks where would the relatability be? This week Court and Meghan talk through what it means to be a hero vs. a sidekick on this journey towards Sainthood. Striving for perfection in every way is not always the best way to live out this mission for the Lord and my goodness this week we reminded ourselves of that truth.

It is Jesus that you seek… yep we go there. We break down the goodness of the famous St. John Paul II quote. We talk about how relativistic it can be to settle with the phrase, “well as long as they’re happy!” instead of calling a friend higher. We talk about happiness and how our culture is obsessed with it, and when we finished recording we agreed that this might be one of the best episodes we’ve recorded in a while.

We hope you love this finale of season 3 as much as we did! Xoxo- Meghan and Court

Catholics are known for it, we often experience it, and let’s be real we don’t love it… it’s Catholic guilt. This week we specifically hone in on the reality of guilt during Lent and the lack of mercy we have with ourselves during this liturgical season. When’s the last time you took a minute to just breathe before you acted out? Whether it’s acting out of anxiety, stress, anger, lust, excitement… did you bring it to the Lord first? Mulan reference, anyone? This week Court and Meghan talk about fighting for your daughterhood. Living in a way that magnifies the Lord and makes you feel whole is not something that just falls on your lap. You have to fight for it. You have to make time for the things that set your heart on fire. And as a result the Gospel is shared when you’re living a full life. But how can we choose this fullness of our identity in the everyday?

So what’s the deal with Marian consecration anyway? This week Jane joins Courtney and Meghan to chat about the beautiful invitation that is consecrating our lives to Jesus through Mary, the Mother of God. This practice comes with so many thoughts and opinions, but one thing we know to be true is that Mary wants us to know her Son deeply. All we have to do is accept her invitation to get to know Him.

Do you believe you were called to be a missionary in some capacity? This doesn’t instantly mean a FOCUS Missionary, or even a religious sister or priest. It just means living out mission with conviction for spreading the Gospel in little ways.

Sometimes we need re-conviction or reminders as to why we are striving for Sainthood and spreading the Gospel daily, and that’s where SEEK24 and mission trips come in. This week Court and Meghan talk about the importance of mission both in the USA and internationally, as well as the great impact of SEEK24.

SEEK24 will happen in St. Louis, MO January 1-5, 2024 and you can register for the event at http://www.seek.focus.org

"Jesus, help me to be where my feet are, not where my mind is."

A prayer that we all need to pray together as we practice actually living in reality. How often do you create unrealistic scenarios in your head that cause anxiety? How often do you dwell and worry?
