This week we discuss the parable of the Weeds and the Wheat. It can be very difficult to distinguish those who are fruitless wheat and who are actually weeds, especially when it comes to maturity. Have we been too eager to pull the weeds, and in doing so we hurt the wheat?

Why is Solitude so hard! Being silent before God is one of the spiritual practices that seem almost impossible. It is a practice that can only be accomplished through the power of God. This week we talk about this battle that wages with in us for distraction and noise. The challenge this week is to take 5 minutes a day to be quiet before the Lord.

This week we started a new series entitled "Simplify: 40 Days of Renewal." The goal with this series is to take a collective breath and set our priorities. Although it may sound "simple" it is not always easy. With a world that is focus on more and more, it becomes difficult to live a "less is more" life.

Acts 2 initiates what is referred to as the "Birth of the Church." It's here where the Holy Spirit indwells the Disciples and The Church bursts on to the scene. In this weeks episode we share briefly about our Annual Meeting and how this same Spirit is available to us today! We also talk about the gifting of tongues and how God is empowering us to be his witnesses to the world.

One of the things that we can't do is separate the Identity of Jesus and the Ministry of Jesus. They are one and the same and can not be divorced from one another. Jesus' model of ministry is what the model of ministry is supposed to be. Jesus focused on teaching, healing, deliverance and ultimately forgiveness.
The answer to this question will single handedly change your life. Jesus asks his disciples one of the greatest questions of all time "Who do you say that I am?" It's so easy to try to fit Jesus into a box, but who really is Jesus?

2023 has been an amazing year, and its incredible to look back and "Celebrate the Living." God has blessed us, and we take an episode and debrief what happened this year. It is important to not take for granted what the Lord has done. We also look forward into 2024!

"The end is near!" Often we think that the prophecy is just fortune telling of the future, or it just a crazy person yelling at the world. But prophecy is much more than that. Prophets were people who speak on behalf of God. Forthtelling is delivering an unpopular message for the people of God with a call for change and to warn against idolatry and injustice. What does it look like for us to interact with the culture, and call out sin.

"Annihilation is easy, hope is hard." When we surround ourselves with unwise people, it always leads to destruction. The Kings of the divided kingdom were all flawed, but instead of seeking wise counsel they chose ignorance. When our heart is divided it is not able to follow God fully.

This week we hosted our first virtual guest and spoke to one of our missionaries from The Christian Holy Land Foundation. With all the tension and unrest in Israel we felt it vital to hear from the people that we support on the ground. Although the world can seem very "black and white" the truth is there is a lot of grey. We may not know/be aware of all that is truly taking place in our world. We hope this weeks episode helps you gain a better context of what is happening in the war currently.

The story of Joshua is often very controversial. God gives a command and directive to his people to enter the Promise Land, the same land that he promised Abraham in Genesis 12, now is the moment! At times we can think that the God of the Old Testament is different than the God of the New Testament; he is not! He is the same God, he is the God of Promises.
