24” Vinyl on metal interpretation of the Holo/Holochain symbol created in 2020 shortly after I became involved in the Holochain community. I traded this piece for a holoport, which will allow me to participate in the early stages of building the next internet!
Holochain is a framework for distributed apps, enabling humans to interact peer to peer through mutual consent without a central authority dictating the rules of those interactions.
True peer to peer interaction where you own and control your own data.
Holo is the first large-scale use of Holochain: a network for distributed hosting of Holochain applications.
A holoport is a device that provides the infrastructure for the new internet. Acting as a bridge to bring hApps to everyday internet users. Holo hosts can charge fees for hosting services. Instead of AWS making mega profits… it puts the power in the hands of the people.
This tech will allow people to build scalable private applications and manage who participates. Flipping the script on the web2 model of human data as a product.

I used adhesive vinyl to make this 24”x24” artistic representation of the covid-19 virus during the first lockdown in April 2020. I created the image using Adobe illustrator and cut the vinyl on a vinyl plotter. Then I weed out the excess vinyl, tape it to transfer to art board and then piece by piece lay it. It’s very similar to putting a puzzle together.
I live streamed, while also filming each step of making this piece!
Stickers available but Etsy won’t allow me to sell them on that marketplace. I also created a bathing suit with the design which I’m also not allowed to sell on Etsy. So I have a one of a kind bikini! Lol

Dancing and music were recorded separate from each other. Dancing was during a Bigo live broadcast and the music was an improv jam before I went to bed that night. They go together so perfectly you’d think I was dancing to that song.
Thought I’d mess around with editing them together. 3 hours later... it’s done! This was off track from the work I intended to do tonight. A pretty interesting detour. I’m so glad I record almost all my creative sessions. I had no idea I got that intense. I could feel myself feeling it and with the music I wrote last night. So I could feel myself from 3 perspectives while I was making this and that was pretty cool!

Adhesive vinyl on a violin. Commissioned piece for a Father’s Day present. The childhood violin. They mentioned Art Deco and a connection to nyc, so I chose the Chrysler Building.
I designed the piece on Adobe Illustrator, cut vinyl with vinyl plotter, and pieced it together. I had to be very gentle with it. I’m used to working with metal so it was very different. Frustrating at times, meditative at others. The family was very happy with how it turned out. I am as well.

I included it in the piece IDGAF because sometimes I’m building the tallest building in the world. Just to see if I can. To me it represents uniqueness and competition. I find it interesting that the Chrysler Building was built on the cusp of the Great Depression & represents the machine age of the 1920s. It just has this energy of IDGAF, I’m building the tallest building. And not just the tallest but one of the most unique as well.

Diogenes was a controversial Greek philosopher who was known for masturbating and defecating in public. Some of my favorite quotes of his -

Alexander the Great found the philosopher looking attentively at a pile of human bones. Diogenes explained, "I am searching for the bones of your father but cannot distinguish them from those of a slave.”
“I have nothing to ask but that you would remove to the other side, that you may not, by intercepting the sunshine, take from me what you cannot give.”

Summer 2020
Created live for a talent show on Bigo. Bigo is a live streaming app that I stream from almost everyday as an official host.
Night one of the talent show I presented a performance that showcased hooping and painting. I created a backdrop using yellow paper and put the Uruz rune symbol on it with adhesive vinyl. I made it to the next round but afterwards I felt really embarrassed. I was alone, it got dark and I spiraled into a hole. It lasted through into the next day and I was questioning even going back for the 2nd night. This is the live performance of that night. But I couldn’t not do it so I reached out to friends for support. I’m so appreciative of the 2 friends that came to help me that night. It was our silliness together that inspired the idea of throwing food covered in paint. We experimented with noodles, eggs and rice. The rice was a huge mess and didn’t work well with the paint. But the noodles and eggs were incredible!!
I would say the audience and the judges were mostly confused about what I presented. Why was I throwing food at the wall and calling it art? Why didn’t I present one of my many talents, like hooping or yoga or fire dancing? (Something the judges would understand and like) I guess calling upon the powerful forces of Uruz, I didn’t realize what I was getting myself into.
I showed up to the talent show not to showcase my talent but to unleash a powerful energy that would shape the months following. :)

I filmed this part after the first night of the talent show. I included audio of the judges commentary during the second night of the performance. And made the backtrack using BandLab. This entire video created using my mobile.
