The Beginning Who am I? What am I doing here?, what is my purpose?.
Lost, we always ask ourselves a lot of this questions. We search the earth looking for answers. Trying to discover ourselves, trying to discover why we were made to roam the earth. We're ready to give our all for a revelation one that would change how we see ourselves.
But then we forget too soon because the world is full of so many trials. We lose all hope, we cry, pain fills our hearts, depression eats through our soul, loneliness, poverty and anger is all there is. That empty void in our soul needs to be filled, but by what?, by who?
Darkness Like a thief in the night, darkness comes along, wearing the finest of things and bringing the best of things, money, riches, drinks and happiness ( so we think). Without even knowing it, we dance with the devil and it feels really great. That emptiness is filled up, it is filled with all the darkness. Imagine, an empty hole filled so much darkness, that's the perfect camouflage.
We're drowned in this new feeling, it feels great. We can feel our heart race with so much joy, this is exactly what we were looking for. "Why didn't you come sooner", we ask and darkness just smiles at us and leads us into more Darkness, addiction, hate, theft, greed, deceit and lies. We keep dancing till we're convinced that this is the right path and he leads us away. But....
Light Then we feel something, a slight touch, a little spark that keeps us questioning. That feeling comes back but not entirely, there's still something missing. Every inch of our body, our soul starts to question the part of darkness. Could they be any path better that this path?, Obviously I've felt it before?
Just by the side, light is waiting, not at the end of the tunnel but right there in our hearts. Waiting for us to say the word and let it into that hole that needs filling, that emptiness in our soul that leaves us with so many questions, questions that cannot be answered, atleast so we think.
The fight for our Soul Sin demands justice for our soul, darkness claims ownership and tries to take us by force. There with it comes fear, one so great that it'll leave us tremble on the floor with tears running down our cheeks. "What have we become?", What are we now?, Is this the purpose who sought to discover?
We become slaves to pain, depression becomes our best friend and the thought of suicide might be just the best of thoughts. It keeps whispering to us slowly at first, end, end it, EnD it, END IT!, END YOUR SOUL!!! and then loudly. Most times we go ahead and hold the knife and look at the ceiling, in complete darkness and just then.....
Something takes us to that moment we felt that little touch, that little spark of light and recharged our soul and at that moment, we throw the knife away and darkness comes at us with everything, threatening to tear us into pieces. But there is light at the end of the tunnel, light strong enough to light up the dark and light up every part of our soul.
It becomes a battle, one that our will controls, the will to go on living, the will to do good and become better, the will to repair this destroyed world, the will to know Him. That will strengthens light and the battle rages for hours, days, weeks, months and sometimes years untill the scale is moved in the favour of light and light eventually wins and fills up that whole with so much light. Hope, love, faith, and real happiness is restored.
Then we do one more dance with light, it's a painful dance but one that'll repair our broken soul, one that'll bring back all our senses and make us whole again. One that would eliminate all the questions and leave us looking up to Him, that dance is everything we've always wanted and that dance resonates that light to the people around us, our friends, our family, our neighbors, colleagues, enemies and people we don't even know. That light, the Light of God shines forever more in our hearts.
This piece is an original piece done by me (on white) and my crew (Transverse). I thought to share it with you today, and I hope it speaks to you in one way or the other, because no matter your struggles, you'll be okay and your soul, that emptiness will be filled up with light.

Have you always wanted to try out some pretty easy phone edits like removing the background of an image and replacing it with another background?
As simple as it sounds it can be one of the most complex things if you don't know how to go about the processes or have access to sites that help in removing the background of images easily.
It can get really frustrating especially when you're about to make a post on Hive and you just can't get the right image you need on those free sites and trying out your own edit using the images in your gallery seems like the best and only option.
Well, I've come to your rescue. In this tutorial you'll learn how to easily get rid of backgrounds you don't need in images and replacing them with favourable background colors and or other picture backgrounds to help your designing process.
They're a lot of other tools for editing but in this video I'll be making use of *PicsArt, one of my favorite and most easy to use editing apps. Believe me when I say this app has the whole package or most of it that make editing with your phone stress free.
Processes ~ First install the app
~ Then, after installing it, open the app
~ Add the preferred image you would like to use
~ Click on the "Cutout" tool
~ Carefully draw around the area you'll like to cut out
~ Click save after carefully tracing out the image you want out of the background.
~ Then, Click on the "Draw" tool
~ Click, on "Layer tool" to view both layers
~ Click on color tool and add the desired color to the empty layer
~ Adjust the size of the image by using the "Transform" Tool
~ After properly placing the image, "Save" to gallery.
Then you have it, your image would be perfectly pasted in your desired colored background. But then you might just want to add that image to another picture. Well, it's not farfetched, it's fully detailed in the video. Just watch the video to the end and you'll be able to add and remove backgrounds as easily as possible.

Dapps make navigating on Hive pretty easy. They're a number of different dapps on this ecosystem but I'll be talking about **peakD, Ecency and 3speak in this video. @projectmamabg had gone through the processes of navigating these dapps in her video and I must say it was quite educative.
In this 4th task I'll be talking about my favorite of them all which is actually PeakD, and what reasons actually make me enjoy using it. Then I'll also be showing some reasons why I use the other dapps, 3speak and Ecency.
The video just breaks everything down and I must say this is actually the first time I'm making a video like this, it's nothing like what the likes of @starstrings01 and @josediccus but then I'm sure it's easy to understand. Do well to enjoy! ❤️.

Hi Hivers!
I know most of you all are already used to the music vibe that has taken over Hive, the #OpenMicContest is really doing the most in pushing a lot of music loving Hivers to the next level but then, it cannot always be about music!
I always dare to be different and that's a trait that I admire most in myself. I know for now they're no dancing contests or a community where dancing can be showcased but then I believe with time we'll have that here on Hive.
Meanwhile, I'll be sharing with you some of the videos I'll be making from now on, as a dancer I love to share happiness through my dance and this is a great opportunity to see most Hivers happy. I know it starts with a lot of trial and I'm not too conversant with 3speak but I still decided to give it a try.
This video is a preset of my dance group's (Transverse) performance at the just concluded Vibes and chills event that was hosted in the university of uyo, Nigeria.
Like the name implies, the event was a sort of get together where groups of people from different ways of life come together to vibe and have lots of fun. It was a really memorable event and my crew decided to just add a little more spice to the event.

I've always been meaning to upload a video here for a while now but most times it either I have little or no data, or I get discouraged.
It's been happening for a long time now and it has been getting to me.
So today I work up feeling a little more enthusiastic coupled with the fact that I could breathe properly. Apart from that, every part of my body was and is working really fine. Isn't that something to be really grateful for?
I know they're a lot of people who slept and didn't wake up, others are battling for their lives struggling to breathe fine. I know I slept a little too exhausted, Mondays are always like that for me but then I woke up feeling more alive than ever, no bruises, no pains nothing.
It's great to see the opportunity we're given every morning we wake up, it's something that can't ever be neglected. That's more of the reason I decided to upload this video. I know I can't give anything more, but I'll hoping I'll put a smile on your face. If this video doesn't do the trick, then they're a lot more from where that came from that'll surely make you smile 😁.
This video is one of the videos I can't really forget. It's one of my favorites because it took a lot to create. It's not easy bringing groups of young individuals together to achieve a particular aim. I can remember vividly on this day there was a lot of arguing and disagreeing and so on. But then amidst everything, we still went on to create something beautiful. Isn't that wonderful?
Of course it is, so I've decided to share. I don't really know much about uploading videos on 3speak but I'm willing to give it a try because I have loads of videos I would love to share. I just hope before next year I'll be able to get the hang of it and be more consistent uploading more of my videos.
