This is week 3 of the Sermon On the Mount Series. In this message we work our way through Matthew 5:21-34. In this section Jesus makes a point of going after the heart of the hearer.
In this second message on the Sermon On the Mount, we discuss a common mistake many make when it comes to their attempt to follow Jesus. Too many of us attempt to make our faith journey an outside in faith. We try to change by changing the external things (church attendance, language we use, how we dress, what we watch). Those are all good things but the ultimately leave us frustrated because real change is not outside in, it is inside out.
This message is a setup to the series on the Sermon on the Mount. It points out that we live in a copy and paste culture. During the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus points out a specific group of people that we should not be copying.
When do we ever get more than we expected? Most of our experiences in life over promise and under deliver. Not God. He always gives more.
This week's message was geared towards our 2024 high school graduates. Pastor Clint shares a message on how to change our world through our God-given purpose.
Relationships matter. There are people in all of our lives that caused our faith to increase. It could have been the person that led you to faith in Christ. I could have been the person that helped you deepen your faith in Christ. Being discipled requires relationships.
As believers, we are all given a spiritual gift to be used in the church for the common good. This message is an encouragement to utilize the gift God has given us.
It is what we do when no one is looking that determines the level of our success when everyone is. It is so important for believers to make sure they are committed to the pursuit of Jesus in our private lives.
In this weeks message, we take a look at the 3 characteristics of a disciple as well as the second key ingredient to growing in our faith.
As Christians, we know that we are all called to MAKE disciples. What we often forget is that we are also called to BE disciples. In this five week series we take a look at how we can lean in and be DISCIPLED.
Jesus came to seek and save the lost and Easter is an opportunity to reflect on the rescue mission of Jesus. This message reminds of what Jesus did and did not come for.
There is a word in the English language that makes all of us a little uncomfortable...confrontation. Confrontation flows out of conflict and as we all know, conflict is inevitable. In Nehemiah 13, we see him having to confront sin in the life of the community. In this message we learn why it is necessary and how to do it in a way the reflects the teachings of Jesus.
In this message from our series in Nehemiah, we learn about three things that we can give that can point people to Jesus.
In Nehemiah 10, the people make a commitment to God. In this message we are challenged to think through our own commitments.
In Nehemiah 8, we see Nehemiah turn his attention to the strengthening of the people. Where do they begin? With the Word of God. So what about us? What makes us stronger?
There will always be battles to face. Some of those will come from outside people. Others will come from the inside. Those are the tougher of the two. In this message, Nehemiah give us some great insight on how to successfully handle the battle within.
In Nehemiah 4, we learn that when the building begins, the battle begins. What we also learn from God's Word is how to face opposition when it comes.
This is the third message in our series through Nehemiah. In Chapter 3, we see the reconstruction of the wall begin. What we find embedded in this chapter is the mention of 38 different people whose contributions made the rebuild possible. They were working together in order to provide a future for the city of Jerusalem, the city where the Savior would one day come to rescue His people.
In week 2 of our series on Nehemiah, we discover Nehemiah's leadership strategy for identifying and fixing problems. These principles can be applied in our personal lives and church life.
This is a series through the Book of Nehemiah. In this week's message, we are challenged to look around at the world around us and check our hearts concerning what we see.
As we approach a new year, we need to ask ourselves a question...are we ready? At the beginning of every race there is a prompt given that alerts the runners that the race is about to begin..."Runners, on your mark!" In order to run well we need to be ready, we need to be...on our mark.
The question we often get around this time of year is, "What do you want for Christmas?" The older we get the more difficult that question becomes to answer. Do we really know what we want? Here is perhaps a better question, "What do we want FROM Christmas?" This message walks us through that question.
What makes Christmas the most wonderful time of year? Most would say that Christmas is the happiest time of year. But what is the key to happiness? And what does Christmas have to do with that?
This Christmas series message from Matthew 2, reminds us that we make bad kings and lets us know where to find a btter one.
Following Jesus will change some things for us. This message from Matthew 9, helps us learn what some of those are.
This is a parable about the condition of our hearts. When we come to the Word of God, are our hearts hard and unreceptive to the seed? Or do we show up to worship and to study the Word with hearts that have been cultivated and prepared?
In this message from Matthew 25:14-30, we are challenged with two questions. Are you available? And what are you afraid of? It was the third servant's fear that caused him to miss out on "entering into the joy of the master." Don't let your fear of failure prevent you from succeeding at serving.
This message comes from Matthew 13:44-50. In it, we discuss what Jesus meant when He said "Remember me."
This message from the Parable of the Good Samaritan begs us to answer the question, "Are we guilty of getting the right answers to the wrong questions?"
This is the first message in our Parables series. It reminds us of the reality of the darkness and decay we see in our world and that God has a plan. God is not sitting idle on His throne as chaos breaks out on earth. Listen to hear about His plan.
Making a list of things that we are against is easy. Making a list of things we are FOR...now that is a different story. Have you ever thought about that? What are you for? In this last message from Romans Paul adresses some things that the church should be for.
What pleases you? Paul said to the church in Rome that he was pleased with certain aspects of the church. This message talks about those things and how we can implement those same three things into our church.
One of our core beliefs is that "saved people serve people." This message from Romans 15 is a great reminder of that truth.
In Romans 14, Paul warns the reader not to destroy the work of God over opinions. What we know about our culture is that when it comes to opinions everyone has one. All opinions are not bad and not all opinions are helpful. So how do we avoid destroying the work of God with opinions?
What do we owe to others? In our message today, Jared Thompson points out the one thing that Paul says we owe each other.
As followers of Jesus, how are we to appropriately respond to government and authorities above us? In this section of Romans the Apostle Paul gives us the answers to that question.
In the previous two verses in Romans 12, the Apostle Paul instructed believers to be living sacrifices in view of God's mercies. In this section, he fleshes that out by letting us know what that looks like in our behavior toward others.
This week's message is from Romans 12:1-2, and leads us to answer the question, "What is your current view of God?"
So where do you find hope? What is holding your world together? What do you trust in? In this section of Romans 11, the Apostle Paul writes to believers in Rome about why their trust should rest fully in God.
This is message 26 of our series through the book of Romans. This message is a look at God's faithfulness to Israel and a reminder that our problems should not change our view of God’s promises. God’s promises should change the way we view our problems.
This is message 25 in our series through the Book of Romans. In this message, we are challenged to consider how God has relentlessly pursued us.
This message is part of our message series through the Book of Romans. In this message, we take a look at a very important question that comes up as we read the text. What does it mean to believe?
This is week 23 of our message series through Romans. In this message, we look at Romans 10:1-3 to discover how the nation of Israel missed seeing Jesus correctly so that we might avoid making the same mistake.
Remember is a sermon series through the Book of Romans. This week is a look at one of the more difficult chapters in all of Scripture.
In this passage from Luke 14:25-33, there is a tension that exists. If Jesus consistently asked people to "follow" Him, why did He turn to a large crowd of followers and say some hard things? Who would follow someone who said them? People who believe something, that's wh
This Father's Day message challenges men to understand the importance of discipleship starting in the home. Matthew 7:24-27
In Matthew 5:6, Jesus say, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied." Could it be that the reason we can't find satisfaction in life is because we are hungering and thirsting for the wrong things? This message challenges us to consider what we crave.
We are in week 21 of our study through the book of Romans in our Remember series! If you would like to follow along in your Bible or Bible app, the Scripture references for today's message are: Romans 8:28-30.

As we begin 2023, we have to ask ourselves a very important question: Where am I going? The reason is simple, there is no direction without a destination. This message invites us to consider that question.
For many of us, Christmas has gone from being a season we enjoyed to being one we endure. We run so hard and deal with so many pressures that when the lights and decoration all go back in the box and into the attic, we feel as though we have missed Christmas. In this series we want to help you rediscover the joy of Christmas by studying through Luke 2.

Some of the most profound truths come in small word packages. One of these little packages is made up of two letters…it is the word “if.” Grammatically speaking, “if” is identified as a conditional particle. That is, it mentions conditions or circumstances upon which certain consequences follow.
What if…our lives were meant to be more?
What if…our habits were a little different?
What if…small changes made the biggest difference?
What if…Jesus is who he said he is?
What if…we fully followed?
New life can be found…if.

All of us have experienced seasons of waiting. Waiting in traffic…not fun. Waiting in long grocery store lines…not the best. Waiting on packages to arrive…Waiting in the dentist or doctors office…Waiting in drive thru…Waiting for your food to arrive…Waiting for the bathroom…Waiting of the light to turn green…Waiting for that important phone call… All of these…not fun. But the heaviest WAIT of them all, the wait that seems to be the most strenuous, the wait that seems to create in us the most doubt, the wait that leads us to asking the most questions, the wait that feels the most crushing is when we find ourselves in the place of having to wait on God. This is a series about the life of Joseph and it will help to learn how to wait well.
