Welcome to this week's episode on Tabletop CEO's Podcast!
In this episode, I interview my dear friend D.R. Fay who is also a podcast manager and producer and she gives her own experience on editing and her own twist on how she edits.
Listen in as she shares her story of being a jazz singer traveling the world to deciding to find her purpose later on in life.
D.R. Fay is a podcast producer/strategist and owns Mouthy Broad Media. A one-stop podcast agency where her clients leave all the editing, show notes, and social media assets to her so they can have a podcast and a life at the same time. After singing jazz in Asia for many years, she spent some time in Los Angeles writing a little bit of comedy, singing Jazz, and going on audition rounds. She then stopped being stupid and moved to Nashville, TN where she and her husband are the happy slaves to their 2 Siamese cats named Zoloft and Xanax. She’s a fan of well-written sitcoms and loves a good documentary as well. And is a self-proclaimed recipe developer. Brittany Dixon is the Chief Efficiency Officer (CEO) of Brittany & Co. She helps business owners build businesses without burnout by implementing time management strategy, task management & client management systems in a SIMPLE way that frees up time instead of adding more to their plate. She gives entrepreneurs the time and freedom they deserve while still making an impact with their gifts and talents. She takes everything out of the business owner's head and creates scalable repeatable systems to grow their business, and be productive and profitable without working more hours.
She became an accidental entrepreneur after being fired from a corporate event planning job for not fitting into the "corporate box" and started her business as a professional home organizer.
In this episode, we talk about Brittany’s journey from ex-corporate to tabletop CEO in which she was fired for thinking outside of the box. Her journey hasn’t been linear but it’s been rewarding by giving her money and time freedom.
The biggest change that happened in her business early on, is that she stopped taking in information and started taking action by managing her tasks and her calendar. She talks about the systems and tools she uses on a daily basis in her business, running her podcast, and raising her family.
She talks about her podcast journey for her show The Productivity Pod(cast) and how and why she started it in the first place. She shares how important it is to have systems and workflows in place and breaks down what a workflow really is (and it’s not really that hard).

Allison Nelson is the business coach for solopreneurs looking to take action in growing their online service-based business. She weaves her past experience in marketing, counseling and education into her passion for helping female entrepreneurs build organic marketing strategies that take their side hustle to consistent income. Allison believes that with the right blend of strategy and mindset, women don't have to wait until their kids are older or they have more time to grow the business of their dreams and take care of their family. In her spare time, Allison loves reading books with a good cup of coffee, playing princess tea party with her five year old, and organizing (and re-organizing) every room in her house.
In this episode, Allison shares her journey from educator to business coach and she has been able to make becoming visible a priority in her business and teaches others how to overcome their fears of public speaking, whether it’s on a podcast, Facebook Live, or social media in general.
She also dives into how creating offers is essential in business building whether it’s free, one, or many.

Welcome to this episode where I talk about why and how podcasting is still such a great marketing tool for introverts.
It’s really hard for introverts to show up outside of their comfort zone, especially if the environment doesn’t match their vibe. And if you are a new podcaster (or aspiring one), then all the emotions around podcasting are high and low like you are riding a fast roller coaster on a hot summer day.
I share a brief history on podcasting and why I think using podcasting as a visibility marketing tool provides more results (and is way more comfortable) than always having to show up on social media and my tips on what you should consider before ever purchasing any equipment or software.
Pep talk includes:
3 things you should map out so your show stands out from the rest:
Form an idea
Create a listener profile
Get your workflows in check

This is the first episode of Tabletop CEOs Podcast! It’s finally here!
This show has been heavy on my heart to launch for a couple of years now. Even though there are over 2 million valid podcasts out there in 2022, I decided to launch anyways, even if I have to start at the bottom. I am glad you are joining me for the journey.
This episode, you will get a glimpse of where I came from and where I am today and why every decision and action in business (and life) always starts with Why.

Did you launch your business because something extraordinary happened in your corporate life that encouraged you to take the leap into entrepreneurship?
Or are you still working a 9 to 5 and working on your passion project from 5-9 while you are at it?
Are you trying to find ways to market yourself without being a slave to social media and be in front of a large diverse audience without having to spend tons of money or time?
Podcasting, my friend, might just be what you are looking for.
Despite where you are in your journey if you have a podcast or thinking of starting one, Tabletop CEOS Podcast just might be what you are looking for.
I am your host Ann-Marie Tamrowski and I'm just an ordinary woman who is a multi-passionate creative who works a full-time job while creating a business on the side that lights me up. I interview real women podcasters who took a leap of faith to leave their corporate cubicles to work from home at their kitchen tabletops to start a new business or simply just working a passion project on the side.
Their stories are remarkable and their journey to podcasting isn't linear. Our guests share practical tips and strategies to help you launch your very own podcast with ease. I also will share weekly 'pep talks' on insight and tips on how to leverage the power of your voice to make a difference in the way you work and live.
This podcast is a judgment-free zone where transparency and vulnerability are welcome here.
So go ahead and pull up your seat at the table and join us for some fun, laughter, and maybe even some tears. We are so glad you're here!
