Your Big Sister In Christ is a Christ-centered podcast tailored for young girls and women young at heart, to learn about Jesus and the Holy Bible in a way that will transform their understanding of themselves and the world around them. Most, if not all episodes are based on where the Holy Spirit leads me. However, some Episodes will discuss topics like Scripture Breakdowns, Women in the Holy Bible, Free Talk Fridays where you’ll hear from young girls about their questions concerning Christ, the Holy Bible, and any other advice they need, and more. Welcome to Episode 1 of Life with Christ, a year long series encompassing many aspects of living a life transformed by the power of God. Each month will have its own mini series and for the month of August, I will be talking about some dangers that can hinder our relationship with God. And what’s today’s episode about? The danger in running from God, specifically disobedience when you’ve been given an assignment, warning or word from God.
In this episode, you will hear a testimony of my year-long season of isolation and how I was plagued by fear for majority of it. I talk about the things I did out of fear, which should’ve been done out of faith. The purpose of this episode to recognize what you do out of fear and not your faith. The purpose of this episode is to respond in faith to the things that bring about fear. This episode is serious but also laidback so, you will laugh a little, ponder a little, and maybe cry a little.
This first episode of season two is about trusting Gods timing with your desires. The scripture for this episode is Proverbs 3:5-6. It is a pillar verse for anyone trusting and waiting on God to fulfill a desire. Our wait may feel long to us but it is only a moment to God. You may make mistakes in your wait but give yourself grace. If you’re waiting on God for anything, this episode is for you. Don’t give up yet sis! Have faith!
This is a “bonus episode”. So, it’s not a part of my regular season but revelation I wanted to share. I start off this bonus with a journal that I wrote a week ago. This is for anyone struggling to move forward. Please trust God. He wouldn’t lead you anywhere to sink. He doesn’t just want you to swim, He wants you to surf. Please take a listen to this if you’re needing encouragement to move forward.
This is not an episode but a revelation I received during my devotion! We need to humble ourselves and understand that everything belongs to God. This is clearly stated in Genesis 1:1. God is the CEO. We are just the managers! Don’t be out here stealing company time! I pray this is a blessing to you.
This is part 1 of a 2-part series! In Ephesians 6, starting at verse 10, Paul introduces the Full Armor of God. This armor contains 6 specific pieces, with prayer as it’s activation. It is first stated in Ephesians; however, aspects of this armor can be found all throughout scripture, especially if they are parallel to Christs character. Each part of the armor represents a part of Christ’s character that has been given to us as Christians as armor. We are not Christ but in using the full armor of God, we draw closer to Him and how He was able to fight off the enemy and win every single battle. We can do the same and this armor, has been given to us so that we can do so. I will dissect this concept further in the other episodes for this series. Today I will just be introducing each piece the armor!
This morning I received revelation from God that I was led share with you all. I pray it blesses you and brings you clarity, in Jesus’ name, amen.

This episode is centered around a commonly used scripture, 1 Corinthians 13:4-8, that tells us what love is. Being that this scripture is commonly used, many people use it and say it in the world without knowing what it really means to love. When I say in the world, that means it’s a scripture that’s been used by people who don’t serve or know God or know much about the Bible and the context of scripture or even know that this “saying” is a verse in the Holy Bible. If you’ve had trouble understanding what love is then this episode is for you. If you’re looking for more insight to Gods character and how He wants us to love, then this episode is for you. As a big sister, you share wisdom and even if you’re older than me, that’s simply what a big sister does, share what they learn. This podcast is for all women in need of some sisterly advice and love. It is a space to get away from what the world has to offer and learn more about what God has to offer.
