Read Romans 8:15, 1 Cor 13:4-8. In this episode we talk about God’s real love! Don’t settle for fake love - what the world is selling will leave you empty. Only God is true love and life! Genesis 1-3 talks about God’s plan for marriage, sin and how God loves us and wants a relationship with us!
Gen 2:24-25, Gen 3:7-10, Romans 8:1. When Adam and Eve sinned shame was introduced into the world. Shame is a weapon from the enemy that keeps us from believing we are a son or daughter of God. Read Roman’s 8 and ask God to show you that you are His son and daughter. Ask Him to help you believe this truth!
Focus verse: Galatians 2:20. Shame says: all your sins is who you are. Are you trapped under guilt, condemnation and shame? God desires for you to be free from all of them! Is it possible? Yes! God has given us the gift of His grace. Grace says: you are what Jesus has done for you. Listen in as we talk about the incredible gift of God’s grace and the identity he wants us to have in Christ.
Hebrews 13:16, 1 John 4:10, 1 John 4:7-8. For the next 5 days spend a few minutes in the morning asking God to fill you with His love and then look for one person you can love as you go through your day! This can be saying something kind, checking in on someone, meeting someone you don’t know, etc. keep it simple!
God leads us to live a life like Jesus where we lay down the things of this world! Hebrews 13:12-14 shows us what it means to seek the city that is to come. The LIVE IT OUT challenge in this episode is to ask the Holy Spirit what He is leading you surrender and share that with someone close to you (parent, life group leader or friend who is running after God)!
