This episode seeks to inform listeners that Christ died to take away our burdens. Carrying them ourselves is detrimental to health and keeps us away from reach of God's intervention. We are therefore encouraged to cast our anxieties on Christ who has been anointed to bear our burdens.
CLING TO YOUR SPIRIT LIFE is an episode that describes life as that which needs sustenance from the source of living itself. It emphasises that without the source of refreshing life could be frustrating and hopeless and those living in that situation are said to be in utter darkness or a sate of spiritual gloom. The episode suggests returning to God who is the author of life and the fountain of living water as a solution particularly as all Biblical characters who did so, found solace and victory.
EXCEEDING GRACE, describes Christ as the incarnate WORD and author of the NEW COVENANT. It draws a line between the old covenant which was championed by Moses through sacrifice and code of conduct and the NEW COVENANT which is through Jesus Christ conveyed by GRACE through the HOLY SPIRIT. The message promises sufficiency of GRACE to get through life endeavours and benefit from the totality of the covenant provisions through the abundance of the GRACE of God (Ephesians 3:20,21).
LONGER AND SAFER is an encouraging episode which describes God as the Architect and pathfinder of Destiny. He designs and also chats the course. The story of Israel travelling through the alternative southern route for 40 years as against the direct northern route which would have taken 40 days is under reference. It teaches that what seems like delay in God's program is His design to achieve the desired personality in His people to enable them become what He purposed for them to His glory. So when God is involved it is never late though it may delay from man's point of view.
This episode gives a segmented description of the voyage of the disciples of Christ across the sea of Galilee and the implications of each stage and event on the course of the journey. The fact that the Lord initiated the journey and knew ahead of time what was going to happen and also prayed to avert it, should encourage the faithful to be strong in their faith. Knowing that there are necessary storms we must pass through to become whom God wants us to be. His presence with a man on the journey though may not guarantee a stress free voyage, it guarantees a safe landing.
All you need is Jesus is an exhortation never to loose sight of God's presence in and around our lives particularly when we face bewildering conditions. It alludes to the fact that the effect of such hard situations are the consequence of our withdrawal from Christ at such times. If we can acknowledge His presence and apply His Word to our conditions, we are certain of Victory both in this material life and beyond.
In this episode a narrative of the threatened officers sennacherib the King of Assyria against Hezekiah and the kingdom of Judah is given. The overwhelming situation orchestrated by this threat and how Hezekiah trusted in God's eventual deliverance is a lesson for all those in similar circumstances.
The message to Israel God's chosen people to seek Him in a land where they were cut off from His physical temple forms the theme of this episode. It highlights the realities of times of spiritual,physical and material drought which inevitably confronts God's people once in a while on their earthly sojourn and calls on the faithful to trust in God who promises to satisfy their soul in drought.
This episode focuses on the nature of the new life, relative to the old nature of man. These are reflective of our thought patterns and actions which in turn have direct effect on our minds. It recommends the renewal of the Holy Spirit as a means of transformation, to refocus our thought pattern to enable us think in accordance with the new nature and our expected heavenly inhereitance. So that we no longer live our lives and set our priorities based on natural things but on things from above because where a man's treasure is, there his heart will be also.
This episode draws a distinction between the real essence of life and the other things surrounding it, and calls the faithful to give the works of the Kingdom of God a priority as to attract God to take responsibility of our material needs.
This episode aptly captures some critical facts about forgiveness and gives reasons why forgiveness is necessary for the believer in Christ. It suggests how forgiveness could be achieved and some considerations that must be noted in dealing with issuse of forgiveness.
This episode describes some of the things that cause stains in the major domains of our lives, and particularly focuses on our spirits, souls and minds. They are capable of interfering into our Communion with God and could rub us of our crown in the end.Offenses or hurts is one of them. It outlines few things we need to do to overcome them so as to remain sanctified unto God and be found blameless before Him always.
This episode emphasises that the heart is the engine of life as it were, and should be guarded from all that are injurious to it, in order to keep us healthy, spiritually, emotionally and physically. It outlines a few of the things are are inimical to healthy spirit and recommends treating our fears and anxieties as God’s responsibilities as a solution
This episode stresses on total dependence on God in acknowledgement of our human frailties. It observes that the pain we feel when we fall short of our expectations in life at times, is due to dependence on our strengths. We think at times that our efforts could not pay off. God could use challenging situations to draw us nearer to Himself, and the nearer we come to God the more our problems diminish. It urges us to see strength in every weakness because the more we go closer in seeking God in recognition of our inabilities the more He manifests His power in and through us.
This episode relates peoples daily actions to the power that is at work within them and recommends that we get deep rooted in the WORD of God as our strength to be able to overcome overwhelming issues of life
Living without regrets aims at helping us see the showers behind every cloud we face, so that looking away from the cloud, and overcoming the dreaded gloom our hearts suggest, we may steadfastly wait for the abundance of rain the Lord intended for our great harvest ahead.
Living life as a custodian reveals to us that life ultimately belongs to God. We are but caretakers and must avoid those things which impinge of the real essence of life in order to reflect the intentions of its actual source(God almighty).
