He earned his Bachelors’ degree in Psychology with minors in Social and Economic Justice and Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and attended Texas State University to earn his Master’s degree in Higher Education. He is also a PROUD member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated.

Caitlin Roberts has worked in higher education for over 20 years, primarily with fraternities and sororities. Her work has taken her all over the country working with students on recruitment, leadership development and community building. But when she woke up in the hospital after an attack by the father of her son, she knew she had a different message to share. Caitlin speaks for those who can’t and wants to help others avoid a situation like hers.​

Caitlin was born and raised in Orange County, California and has always found the Wedge in Newport Beach to be her zen location. She received a BA in Psychology from California State University, San Bernardino and an MA in Psychology from Pepperdine University. She is a proud member of Kappa Delta Sorority.

Dr. Marlon L. Gibson currently serves as the director of Community Engagement for Kappa Alpha Order. In his inaugural role at KA, Marlon develops and facilitates the curriculum for educational initiatives related to fraternal values alignment, diversity, and inclusion. For over 20 years, he has worked extensively with headquarters staff, collegians, and alumni across the country in the area of sorority and fraternity life.

Previously, he was the director of Sorority and Fraternity Life at Emory University. Cesar Cervantes currently serves as Director of Student Life at St. John's College. He is also the former assistant dean at Colorado College and former dean at United World College USA. He received his BA at St. Mary's University and his graduate degree at Southern Methodist University. He was a college athlete and is still a proud Kappa Sigma. Cesar is trained in stand-up and improv comedy, and travels the country helping colleges and individuals, maximize their full potential.   • Had a “little crystal cup” named for her and given to the Outstanding NC State sorority every year at Homecoming
  • Celebrated November 20, now known as Mindy Sopher Day in Raleigh as proclaimed by Mayor Charles Meeker
  • Received “The Order of the Long Leaf Pine” from Governor Beverly Purdue

On a more personal note, in her free time, Mindy raises English Bulldogs, enjoys gardening and therapeutic coloring, and learning something new every day. Most important, though, says Mindy, is that she is blessed to have survived cancer four times and is still going strong!

She is hoping to finish her doctorate in Ag. Extension and Leadership Education concentrating on Youth Leadership at NC State before the university decides to give it to her posthumously!
