We were honored to welcome UFC fighter, New York Times bestselling author and Green Beret Tim Kennedy and Matt Beaudreau, school founder, entrepreneur, and co-creator of the Apogee Strong Mentorship Program.

In this episode, we discuss the fact that masculinity has been a pillar of human society throughout history. A society without strong men will inevitably fall. Why are men that exude strength and confidence subjugated to negative labels like “toxic masculinity?” Men are innately protectors, providers, and at times stoic creatures. The latest attempt to blur the lines of gender has created a generation of men untethered from inherent gender driven purpose, leading to fatherless households and young men that lack drive.

Carl talks about his unexpected journey of quarantine on the ship and then being the first ever COVID patient placed in Omaha, Nebraska's biocontainment unit originally built for Anthrax. He gives the real story behind the media frenzy surrounding him and his wife who miraculously never tested positive for the virus.

On top of the typical symptoms of a fairly mild case of COVID, Carl experienced far more serious health effects, partially due to an autoimmune precondition he had developed from the shingles vaccine, which left him paralyzed in his hands and feet.

What’s UP? On today’s episode Laura Sextro, CEO of The Unity Project, sits down with Dr. Aaron Kheriaty, Chief of Medical Ethics here at the Unity Project. He’s an MD, physiatrist, and for more than 15 years, a Professor of Psychiatry at University of California Irvine School of Medicine and Director of the Medical Ethics Program at UCI Health.

He also served on the ethics committees for the California Department of State Hospitals. This was until he was terminated in December for not complying with their unconstitutional vaccine mandate and is currently in litigation fighting his wrongful termination.

We kick off this episode by talking about the ramifications of AB 2098, the California bill that just passed the assembly and would hinder the rights of doctors to practice medicine in the state.

In addition to the endless list of unethical practices and protocols being administered across the country, Dr. Kheriaty gives us a preview of his new book “The New Abnormal: The Rise of the Biomedical Security State”

Laura also calls out an egregious violation of ethics in education, and morally unconscionable decision by the administration of Granada Hills Charter High School in California. They have decided to segregate students and not allow unvaccinated seniors to walk in their graduation ceremony this week. As if the last two years weren’t disruptive and difficult enough, to deny a student the ability to stand with their classmates and receive their diploma is wrong on so many levels.
