This week we explore another introvert superpower: empathy. The English word empathy was first used in 1908. It’s a translation of the German term einfühlung, which literally means “in-feeling” or “feeling into”.
Empathy is a natural human ability, yet it’s one that has largely been lost. As children, we are taught to value reasoning over feeling. We learn to suppress or deny our emotions. This reduces our ability to experience our own and other people’s feelings.
However, empathy can be a superpower – especially in business. The ability to appreciate how your clients feel about your marketing and products leads to superior customer experiences. Which in turn can generate accelerated business growth.
At the end of the day, we’re all humans sharing the same highs and lows. Understanding this and bringing it into our work will help us create a more compassionate and resilient business world.
What you’ll learn on today’s episode: The surprising origins of the term “empathy”. * Why empathy has become a lost art in the modern world. * How to develop empathy as a superpower. * Why it’s important to maintain boundaries while practicing empathy. * How empathy can help you create loyal fans and a more impactful business.*

This is the second episode in a series I’m doing on introvert superpowers. Last week I explored intuition. Today we look at contemplation.
Where intuition can be fleeting, contemplation happens over an extended period. Intuition initiates and contemplation develops.
Contemplation is a way to hold an idea or concept in your awareness. It requires the left and right brain. And it happens in the present. It’s not the same as concentration, but it’s more active than meditation.
Listen to today’s episode and discover how you can develop contemplation into a superpower.
What you’ll learn on today’s episode: What contemplation is and how it relates to meditation and mindfulness. * How to use contemplation to find answers to challenging questions and develop ideas. * Why living a contemplative life brings you more peace and calm. * How to heal negative patterns and triggers through contemplation. * Three exercises to help you develop your superpower of contemplation.*

This is the first episode in a series I’m doing on introvert superpowers. These are natural abilities you have as an introvert. They may or may not be gifts that you’re currently aware of.
This week we’re exploring intuition. I love this superpower!
When you start listening to your intuition you learn to trust life. And when you act on intuition you unlock your greatest gifts.
As an introvert you’re naturally drawn inwards – you process the world by going within. And this is where your intuition lives… deep inside your heart.
Your intuition can speak to you in various ways. It looks different for each person and it’s something you must experience for yourself to understand.
Listen to today’s episode and discover the different ways your intuition might talk to you and how you can develop it into a superpower.
What you’ll learn on today’s episode: The difference between intuition and analytical reasoning and why you want to balance the two. * How to tell when intuition is talking to you versus fear. * Why following your intuition will help you unlock your greatest gifts. * Three ways your intuition can talk to you (through feelings, thoughts and symbols). * How to develop your intuitive superpower via a daily practice. * How to apply to join my new mastermind, Growth Circle.*

On today’s episode, I share two big announcements. I also describe what I mean by The Path Of Heart.
The Path Of Heart is a different way to build a business. Most entrepreneurs push. And strive. And struggle. They chase every client and deal. They view the world as a competitive place. Where there are winners and losers.
But when you try to force results, you push away the very thing you want. When you look for friction, you find it. You may still reach the top of the mountain. But it will be at a cost – whether that’s your health, happiness, or peace of mind.
The Path Of Heart is about letting go of struggle. Showing up as your best self and trusting that the Universe will provide. It is a more easeful and joyful way to build a business.
What you’ll learn on today’s episode: Two announcements: * Business Growth Lab has a new look and a new price! * I’m starting a new mastermind called Growth Circle. This is for heart-centered entrepreneurs who are ready to take the next steps to grow. * How to tell the difference between what your soul and ego want. * Why The Path Of Heart results in more joy and ease in your business. * The three steps to building a more meaningful business from your heart.*

Mark’s TED talk: The Magic Of Being Yourself
A question I often hear is: should I sell group or one-on-one coaching? This especially comes up when someone is thinking about scaling their business.
On this episode, I compare the two options. I discuss the pros and cons of both group and one-on-one coaching - including some differences that aren’t immediately obvious.
Many introverts prefer to work one-on-one. It plays to our strengths and it’s a simpler business model. On the other hand, groups (at least in theory) have a higher income ceiling.
However, you will encounter a unique set of challenges if you decide to sell groups. In fact, some coaches experience a drop in income when switching from one-on-one to a group business model. You can also find yourself trapped in the constant hunt for “more”.
Listen in as I explore the differences between group and one-on-one coaching. I also discuss how to offer a hybrid program with incorporates both components. This is what I do inside my program, Business Growth Lab.
What you’ll learn on today’s episode: The difference between marketing a group versus a one-on-one service. * How much you can earn selling one-on-one versus group coaching. * Why I recommend starting with a one-on-one offer if you’re on the fence. * The skills you need to develop when transitioning from one-on-one to group coaching. * Why groups can create a constant need for “more” in your business.*

This week I discuss five challenges entrepreneurs face when scaling their business.
The first obstacle is marketing and sales. You need a way to consistently generate new business without spending more to acquire customers than you make.
But marketing is by no means your only challenge. Just as important is your delivery mechanism. As you work with more people, you want to keep delivering the same or better results.
Delivery is part of your sales process. Happy customers tell their friends and are more likely to buy again. Serving people at your highest level also gives greater meaning to your work.
Finally, as you scale your business you will need to manage your mind and emotions. More money and responsibility can lead to increased drama and stress.
Listen in to discover practical strategies to overcome all these obstacles and more.
What you’ll learn on today’s episode: How my corporate career helped me become a more responsible business owner. * Why it’s essential to know your numbers and which numbers matter most. * Five common scaling challenges and how to overcome them: * Implementing a scalable marketing and sales process. * Perfecting your message to appeal to more people. * Delivering the same or better results for more people. * Believing in your offer at a higher price. * Managing your mind and emotions as you grow. * The four things to focus on when scaling your business and income.*

Once you’ve found your first paying customers, your next challenge is figuring out how to scale your business. Here’s my definition of scaling:
Scaling is increasing your revenue at a much faster rate than your expenses.
In other words, scaling is NOT increasing revenue by throwing money at your business. Do that, and your expenses will quickly outstrip your income.
As an introvert, I prefer to have plenty of margin in both my calendar and my finances. Which means I prefer to scale in a way that preserves my profit.
Smart scaling involves making wise investments and selecting a business model that fits you and your strengths.
What you’ll learn on today’s episode: Six ways to throw money away and how to avoid them. * Why investing in a high-ticket mastermind might not be right for you. * The four components of the Business Growth Machine: * Invite: How people discover you * Engage: How people get to know you * Offer: How people buy from you * Deliver: How people work with you * How to know if you’re ready to scale your business. * The four ways to scale and the pros and cons of each one. The methods are: * Increase your prices. * Sell to more people. * Implement an agency model. * Make new offers to your existing audience.*

On the podcast today, I share an exercise to help declutter your brain. It’s called The 5-Day Content Cleanse. The idea is to create space in your brain and life so that you can tap into your unique voice.
I had the idea for a content cleanse during a recent food “fast”. I noticed how eliminating (most) food for five days, changed how I thought and felt about what I eat. It also created a sense of calm and clarity. An openness to possibility.
The 5-Day Content Cleanse will do the same for your creative brain. It will eliminate the noise and make room for your own ideas.
The end result? You will unlock your creativity and step into the role of thought leader within your niche.
(NOTE: I am not a doctor and I do not recommend attempting a food fast without seeking professional medical advice.)
What you’ll learn on today’s episode: Why decluttering your brain will help you become a better marketer. * What happened when I did a 5-day food “fast”. * How to do The 5-Day Content Cleanse and start finding your unique voice. * My #1 tip to help you maximize the benefits from the exercise (HINT: keep a journal!)*

The path to greater creativity and confidence is deceptively simple. It comes from being more of you. This means showing up in the world as your authentic self. So that you can make your unique mark in the world.
However, this is not easy to do. Society, well-meaning people, and your own self-doubt all stand in your way.
For example, the fear of being seen as an imposter often becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
In the pursuit of success, you risk becoming something false. You may lose touch with your own inner wisdom and stifle your creativity. The result? Instead of creating confidence and freedom, you generate more self-doubt.
This is something I’ve struggled with in business. And watched many online influencers and business owners experience too. The answer is to keep checking in with yourself to make sure you’re consistent with your truth.

Confidence in business is essential. And yet it’s something all new entrepreneurs struggle with.
Scientists have shown that people who believe in their capabilities put in more effort and perform better. They also experience greater job satisfaction and less stress and burnout.
Now, if you struggle with self-doubt in business that’s okay. Most of us do. There are ways to increase your self-confidence over time.
Today, I share four steps to greater self-confidence. The method is based on the work of a famous psychologist, Albert Bandura.
Bandura defined a term called self-efficacy which refers to the ability to meet challenges and complete a task successfully. Where confidence is a general belief in your abilities. Self-efficacy is specific.
For this podcast, I use the terms self-confidence and self-efficacy interchangeably. What we’re really discussing here is how to believe in yourself as a business owner.
The four steps to greater self-confidence can be remembered using the acronym SWIM. The steps are:
Listen in to today’s episode to discover how you can apply these steps and grow your self-confidence as an entrepreneur.

In the podcast today, I explore how to build confidence as an introvert. As your self-confidence increases, you experience less anxiety and accelerate your business growth.
According to the American Psychology Association (APA) self-confidence is defined as:
Trust in one’s abilities, capacities, and judgment. It means you accept and trust yourself and have a sense of control in your life.
Many of us have confidence in one area of life but struggle to trust our abilities in business. The good news is that you can develop your confidence as a CEO over time.
In this episode, I share a simple framework to help you build your self-confidence. I also discuss three myths about confidence. They are:

However, once you’re on the road to recovery there are lessons you can learn from every experience. In fact, burnout can be an incredible gift. An opportunity to learn and grow.

Hi everyone – it’s wonderful to be back on the podcast!
Today, I’m talking about my experience with entrepreneurial burnout in 2022. This is the first in a two-part series.
I hope that what I share today and next week will help other entrepreneurs who are going through something similar. Also, anyone who feels they may be at risk of burning out will likely benefit from this series.
Although burnout is not a medical diagnosis, the MBI (Maslach Burnout Inventory) identifies 3 dimensions that are used to measure it:
In my case, burnout showed up as a loss of creativity and interest in my work. I felt unable to create new content and struggled constantly with cynical thoughts about my business and the coaching industry.
I also went through some increased anxiety and bouts of depression. The early days of burnout were not a fun experience!
As someone who has felt inspired in business for the last eight years, this came as a shock. Luckily, my story has a happy ending and I’m delighted to be back working in my business and talking with you all again.
You’ll also hear in next week’s episode, how I came to see my burnout as a gift.
What you’ll learn on today’s episode: How introverts are both more and less likely to struggle in online business. * My 4-step method to manage stress and recover from burnout. * Why it’s essential you don’t make any major business decisions while recovering from burnout.*

The message that “the online world is a noisy place” is pervasive. It’s also problematic. It can lead to the belief that you have to compete for attention. The idea that you must fight to be heard can lead to spammy practices, chasing trends, and acting out of integrity. It feels bad and it’s not effective over the long term. Quiet marketing is the opposite. It’s also something that, as an introvert, you are probably naturally good at. Here’s the definition… … quiet marketing is creating consistent, quality content over a long period of time. When you keep sharing valuable content with your audience, you do several things: You refine your voice and message You build trust with your audience You create a body of work that moves people towards working with you
On the podcast this week I explore why I think quiet marketing is the most effective way to grow your business over the long term. And how you can start doing it in your online business. What you’ll learn on today’s episode:Why noisy online marketing tactics don’t work. How being an introvert is an advantage when marketing your business online. The three most common mistakes to avoid when creating content. How to be consistent even if you don’t want to post to a fixed schedule.

There may come a time in life when your interest in worldly things declines. And when this happens, you may start to question your business and goals. The Cambridge English Dictionary describes worldly things as “relating to or consisting of physical things and ordinary life rather than spiritual things”. Examples of worldly things include: material possessions, money, awards, recognition, physical appearance, world affairs, etc. When your interest in such things fades, it inevitably leads to the following question: if worldly things are no longer a driver for your business then what is? This is the topic of today’s podcast episode. I discuss how I’m answering this question for myself and provide some guidance on how you can begin to do the same. What you’ll learn on today’s episode:What are worldly things and why they may become less important to you over time. What to do when you find your business no longer reflects your values or beliefs. The power of the question: how can you participate in what is good and true to you? Preview of changes coming to my group program in September.

I see business as a series of experiments. I do this for two reasons… First, experiments help you get better at what you do. When you’re constantly improving, your business results will always be trending in the direction you want. Success becomes inevitable Second, experiments are fun. Viewing your business as a series of experiments reminds you not to take things too seriously. It’s easier to let go of any heaviness and instead grow your business in a way that feels good. However, many people don’t know how to execute an effective test. They focus on what steps to take but overlook the other three components of an experiment. So, on this week’s episode I discuss how to run better experiments in business. What you’ll learn on today’s episode:Why adopting an experimental mindset will transform your business results. The four components of an effective experiment. Why being an introvert is an advantage (HINT: you’re good at processing lots of information!) What not to do when analyzing your experiment results.

Were you ever told as a child to stop asking so many questions? Were you rewarded for staying quiet and doing your assigned work? Whether you were an A-student or if you struggled in school, it’s likely that you learned that ‘good students’ study hard and do what they are told. The problem with this system is that it kills curiosity. Our schools (and most corporations) teach us to follow rules and avoid failure. And this is a problem. Successful entrepreneurs are creative - they come up with ideas that have value. They are also willing to execute on their ideas and risk failure. You cannot build a business by pursuing external approval and fearing failure. Listen to this week’s episode and discover how what you learned in school is preventing you from growing your business. What you’ll learn on today’s episode:The difference between mastery and performance goals. Why schools kill creativity and grading is a scam. How to use curiosity to stop fearing failure and start experimenting more. The importance of recognizing that your worth is not determined by performance.

Most online businesses are about helping people. But how many programs or courses have a one hundred percent success rate? Or even fifty percent? The truth is very few. Whatever the niche - business, health, personal development - online programs have a high non-completion rate. And of those students who complete a program, only a few realize all the promised results. It’s my belief that we can do better. Much better. And I include myself in this. I’m committed to helping my students build profitable businesses they love. And it’s become clear to me that to help more people, we need to approach the design and delivery of online programs differently. The traditional method of delivering content and adding on support (either via a group or coaching calls) is not enough. Too many students are dropping out, not engaging, and failing to get results. To find answers on how to do better, I had to look outside the online business world. Sometimes, improvement means completely rethinking the way we do things. Listen in to find out what I discovered and how I’m changing Business Growth Lab to help my clients get results.. What you’ll learn on today’s episode:An honest look at the online business industry and the results we help our clients get. Why most online programs have low completion rates. What we can learn from sports, top universities, and scientific research about getting results. Three things an online program must provide to help students succeed. How I’m rethinking the way I’m delivering Business Growth Lab.

Today’s episode is the fourth and final episode in the True Self Series. This week we explore how to build a heart-centered business by making decisions from your True Self. When you build a heart-centered business you experience more peace and joy in your business. You also do work that feels good and purposeful to you. Differentiating between your True and False Self takes practice. It’s something you can only learn through personal experience. In this episode, I offer some exercises to help you explore the difference for yourself. This is how you can start to build a more heart-centered business. What you’ll learn on today’s episode:Why you want to make business decisions from your heart and not just your head. How to tune into your intuition and know what’s true for you. What it feels like to build a business from your False Self versus True Self. Some exercises to help you start making more heart-centered decisions.

Today’s episode is the third in the True Self Series. The series is about building a heart-centered business – one that feels true to you. In this episode, we explore how the head, heart and body serve different purposes. We look at why you need all three and how the head and body can lead you astray. When you raise the head (or body) above the heart you take away what it means to be human. The heart is the part of you that recognizes truth and beauty. It’s also the seat of the True Self. If you want to build a business that feels true to you then you want to let your heart guide you. What you’ll learn on today’s episode:The problem with asking “what do you want?” The differences between the head, heart and body and why you need all three. How the false self can manipulate the head and the body. What we can learn from Lord Of The Rings about certain character traits.

Today’s episode is the second in the True Self Series. The series is about building a heart-centered business – one that feels true to you. There’s a well-known story called The Tale Of The Two Wolves Inside You. It goes like this:
One evening, an elderly Cherokee brave told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. “My dear one, the battle between two ‘wolves’ is inside us all. One is evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego. The other is good. It is: joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith.” The grandson thought about it for a moment and then asked his grandfather: “Which wolf wins?” The old Cherokee replied, “The one you feed.”
In this episode, I explore the difference between the true and false self. Recognizing this difference allows you to choose which wolf you want to feed. Do you want to create a business from joy and peace or from envy and ego? What you’ll learn on today’s episode:Why making business decisions from your ego creates shame and dissatisfaction. The differences between the false self and true self. How the true self will help you find more joy and peace in your business.

Today’s episode is the first in a series that I’m calling the True Self Series. If you prefer to hide from the world, it may be because you don’t resonate with today’s ‘success culture’. Perhaps you find it too loud. Or aggressive. Or it makes you uncomfortable, but you’re not sure why. The demands and noise of the outside world can be overwhelming. We are told that we should want more… do more… be more. Yet deep down what we long for is peace, calm, and truth. If this resonates then I invite you to turn inward and embrace what feels true to you. In the True Self Series, I will be showing you how to let go of what you ‘should’ do and instead build a business that feels true to you. On this first episode in the series, I discuss what I mean by today’s ‘success culture’ and why it can lead to a constant striving and sense of failure. What you’ll learn on today’s episode:What I mean by today’s ‘success culture’ and why it influences all of us. The tension between what you ‘should’ do and what your heart wants. Why money goals and money awards are not necessarily a good thing. How to escape the treadmill and find more peace in your business.

This week’s episode is a follow up to the previous episode on ‘simple selling’. I dive into some of my own challenges and explain how I am using simple selling to course correct. As a reminder, simple selling is inspiring people to take a specific action and doing it in a way that aligns with your values. You know you’ve nailed this concept when it feels good and natural. When I recorded the previous episode, I was in the middle of a launch for my group program. And as I created the podcast, I realized that I was not taking my own advice! My launches did not feel ‘good and natural’ – I felt out of alignment. Listen in to learn how I explored what was ‘off’ in my launches and the changes I decided to make to my group program. What you’ll learn on today’s episode:How I realized I was not practicing ‘Simple Selling’ in my launches Why it’s easy to ignore your inner wisdom and get distracted by outside voices Some changes I’m making in my business to get back in alignment Why self-improvement and constant striving do not always serve you How to manage the inner struggle and stay consistent with your values

In this episode I show you what’s behind niche indecision and provide a simple framework to help you make the best decision for you and your business. When you’re growing a business, discomfort is inevitable. And for many people this can be a problem. Because most of us live our lives on autopilot. We allow fear, desire, and overwhelm to drive our actions and results. When you automatically react to your negative feelings you do things that sabotage your business. Your brain wants to escape the discomfort as quickly as possible and at any cost. However, there is another way to build your business. Instead of staying trapped in an endless cycle of self-sabotage, you can tap into a more powerful emotion - such as joy or love. When you show up in your business with joy and love, you experience more flow and unlock your creativity. This is what leads to faster and bigger results. It’s also a lot more fun! Listen in to the episode to find out how to switch your focus and unlock more creativity in your business. After years of struggling in business, I realized something profound. My problems weren’t because I was doing something wrong. The problem was that I had been buying into the prevailing mindset around how to build an online business. Here are some things you may have been told about how to grow your business:Sell, sell, sell Go to live events Network all the time Always be "on" and telling people about your business Be everywhere Be on social media Build complex funnels, do webinars, run paid ads
The truth is you don't need to do any of these things if you don't want to. And if you're an introvert like me, most of this will leave you feeling exhausted. Here's what I found DOES work:Slow down and be kind to yourself Be yourself in your business Do what feels natural, not what feels forced Talk to your people, the people who "get" you Give yourself the luxury of space & time to create a business that feels right for you
I call these the five success principles for introverted entrepreneurs. Listen to this week’s episode and learn how you can apply these principles and thrive in your business. What you’ll learn on today’s episode:Why you need to stop doing “all the things” in your business... especially if you’re an introvert. What science tells us about introverts and dopamine. How to avoid burnout by slowing down and being kind to yourself. The five success principles for introverted entrepreneurs.

Thriving in business means not just building any business but creating one you love. This means you need to be intentional about how you build your business, right from the start. In this episode, I share an exercise to help you design your perfect business… whatever that looks like for you. I want to free you from all the things you think you should do. So that you can start doing whatever it is you want to do. The exercise I share on this episode is called “Your Business, Your Rules”. To be clear, these aren’t rules to restrict you – quite the opposite. These are rules to remind you of the things you’re not prepared to do or give up just to make money. For example, one of my rules is that I have fun in my business. Another is that I don’t work after my children come home from school. What “rules” do you want in your business? Remember, you’re not building a business purely for profit. You’re designing a life that inspires and excites you. Listen in to find out how. What you’ll learn on today’s episode:Why focusing on the bottom line holds you back in business. How following your passion helps you thrive (and actually make more money). Five question to help you design the perfect business for you. How to let go of what you think you “should” do so that you’re free to do what you want to.

In her best-selling book, The Gifts Of Imperfection, Brene Brown said this: “Perfectionism is a self-destructive and addictive belief system that fuels this primary thought: If I look perfect and do everything perfectly, I can avoid or minimize the painful feelings of blame, judgement, and shame.” In other words, perfectionism is an attempt to protect yourself from experiencing negative feelings like shame. The problem is, it’s a strategy that doesn’t work. In fact, perfectionism leads to more of the very thing you’re trying to avoid. In this episode, I show you how perfectionism sets you up for failure and creates more shame. Then, I share four steps to break free of perfectionism. Following these steps takes bravery. You need to risk judgement… and shame. Yet the rewards are worth it. At the end of the episode, I read a poem that concludes like this: The person who risks nothing, does nothing, has nothing is nothing. He may avoid suffering and sorrow, But he cannot learn, feel, change, grow or live. Chained by his servitude he is a slave who has forfeited all freedom. Only a person who risks is free. What you’ll learn on today’s episode:Common signs of perfectionism and how to have compassion for yourself. Three reasons why perfectionism keeps you trapped and prevents business growth. This is the second part of a two-part series on the CALM Method. This is a tool you can use to transform negative emotions and thrive in your business. When growing a business, most people focus on external results. How many followers do you have? How much money are you making? And so on. This is understandable. We live in a culture of wanting more. More money, more recognition, more possessions, etc. But this keeps us stuck on a treadmill. Because “more” is never enough. Think about what happens when you achieve a goal. You probably experience a brief high. Which is then replaced by the desire to achieve an even bigger goal. So, how do you escape the treadmill? The answer is to change the energy you’re acting from. You want to switch from a negative action energy to a positive action energy. Focus on how you’re acting in your business and not on the end result. In this episode, I teach the second two steps in the four-step CALM Method so that you can harness the power of positive action energy and start creating the results you want in your business. What you’ll learn on today’s episode:Why you need the first two steps of CALM before getting coached. Five questions to help you learn from your feelings: What does the feeling want to tell you? Why are you feeling this way? What thought is behind this feeling? What is this thought or feeling protecting you from? What is the worst thing that could happen here? What is the best thing that could happen here? How to operate from a different action energy so that you can create the results you want in your business.

On this week’s podcast I answer a question I get asked all the time – how to publish a book to grow your business. Self-publishing is how I’ve built my business and audience. It’s an awesome way to attract a following, especially if you’re an introvert who loves the written word. With Amazon – and other book sellers – you can publish a title and immediately appear prominently in their store. In a crowded online world, Amazon offers a unique opportunity to be discovered and establish yourself as an authority in your field. Yet discoverability isn’t the only reason to publish. The number one reason I love self-publishing is because people who read your book are highly qualified leads. By the time a reader lands on your website, they’ve already invested time and money getting to know you. They have decided that they resonate with your message and want to know more. What you’ll learn on today’s episode:Why publishing a book is one of the best ways to grow your audience as an introvert. How much I’ve made in book royalties to date. How I leverage Amazon to grow my audience with 5-10 high quality leads every day. What to consider when deciding whether to traditionally publish or self-publish.

Most people think the reason they are struggling in business is because they don’t know the “how”. They want someone to give them the exact strategy or blueprint for success. However, the real reason entrepreneurs struggle is because they are living on autopilot. Their subconscious thoughts and feelings are driving their actions and results. This is normal. Marketing your business is a potential “threat” to your brain. Especially to us introverts. And when your brain feels threatened it triggers an automatic response to return you to safety. The problem is that as long as you are living on autopilot, you keep recreating the same results. Your subconscious programming is literally stopping you from growing… in your business and in your life. This is why I created the Visibility Challenge. It kicks off on Monday, March 21st 2022. Though you can start the challenge any time. You can also do the challenge whenever you’re struggling in business. It’s guaranteed to kickstart your results. The Visibility Challenge is simple - all you need to do is make 100 invitations. An invitation is any piece of content that is both helpful and shared publicly. So really, all I'm asking you to do is help people 100 times. By doing the challenge, you will: Find your voice and refine your message. Train your brain that it’s “safe” to be seen and take up space in the world. Create a volume of helpful content for your audience. Learn how to talk about what you do so people can't wait to work with you. Have renewed enthusiasm for your business… because challenges are fun! After 100 invitations you WILL make money.
So, what do you think? Are you in? What you’ll learn on today’s episode:11 signs you’re operating from subconscious programming The three tools to retrain your brain to feel safe in your business Why doing The Visibility Challenge will transform your results The Visibility Challenge “Rules”:
Make 100 invitations over any time period Record (and reward) your action using the Challenge Log Analyze and improve after every 5 invitations using curiosity Challenge ends when you have made 100 invitations

You’re doing all the things. Showing up and telling people about your business. But nobody is interested. What do you do? First, don’t panic! Nothing has gone wrong. Growing your business is an iterative process. You’re exactly where you’re supposed to be. Everything you do in your business is an experiment. And with each experiment you’re collecting data. The data means nothing about you and your idea. It’s just information. You’re already succeeding because you’re in the game. You’re running experiments, taking action, and figuring out what works. When you don’t get the results you expected, you take a step back and analyze. What did you do? What worked? What can you do differently next time? Then, you go back and test again. Keep iterating and improving. And do it with curiosity and love. If you do this, you will keep moving closer towards a thriving business. What you’ll learn on today’s episode:How to be a scientist in your business and take control of your results 6 specific actions you can take when nobody is buying Why sometimes the only thing you need to do is keep showing up When to offer your product or service for free

Long gone are the days when extroverts won all the clients and built the big businesses. In today’s information age, the introvert has an advantage. Why? Because people are hungry and searching for authenticity, human understanding and help. Introverts, by nature, are well-equipped to observe, evaluate and serve others. When people know you truly understand them and want to help them, they gravitate toward you. Welcome to this brand new podcast, Introverts Thriving In Business. I’m your host, http://sallyannmiller.com (Sally Miller). As an introvert myself, I used to try to be someone I’m not. I tried to fit into the mould of an extroverted business woman. Although I had success, it wasn’t what I wanted for my life. I longed to find a way to be who I am and still have a thriving business. Now that I’ve successfully forged that path, I want to help you do the same. Through this podcast, I will help you, fellow introvert (or even if you’re not), thrive in business. In each episode, I’ll provide practical advice you can apply right now. I’ll be talking about how to sell without anxiety, dispelling the myth of not fitting in, the necessity of proper mindset coupled with business strategy, and much more. In this introductory episode, I share my story and introduce the three phases of my Business Growth Process. Introverts can – and do – thrive in business! What you’ll learn on today’s episode: How I grew my business and the struggles I experienced as an introverted entrepreneur The three phases to grow your business to 100K – and how to know which phase you’re in Five signs that you’re stuck in niche indecision Why you need to stop working on your website and sales funnels The two conditions you MUST meet before you start scaling your business
