This is just a quick video showing my previous "high" in video editing versus where I am now with video editing and 3D world creation. The page flipping animation was created using Blender while the chair and fireplace were created in Unreal Engine 5.4.
I am still learning Unreal, I only started working with it in the last 6 to 9 months, prior I was working in Unity and Blender. I gave up on Unity recently due to many, many, errors in finishing what I was trying to do. I am not a programmer so diving into scripts and C is beyond my capabilities.
My goal with these types of things is to work with content creators to create unique video intros, backgrounds for their videos, etc. For now, I am just enjoying creating interesting things I have always dreamed of.

This match is mostly stealth actions on my part trying to find a great position on my opponents. Some were just too good to get an elimination so I had to make a run for it and escape a potentially bad situation and fight somewhere elese.
The last elimination was a surprise to me, I did not think I would make it, honestly. I figured they would pick me off in the air as I descended on them as they had a great opportunity to do so. They did not.

This round of Fortnite was interesting, it was one that I did not expect to go like it did when I dropped in from the Battle Bus.
If you hate swords, you might want to skip this one, I believe 80% of my eliminations on this one are with the sword. With that said, you can skip to the end after I reach five eliminations. After that it is a lot of dedicated watching trying to figure out where my opponent is (might be fun for you, I am not sure, just mentioning this so others can skip).
All in all, this was a fun round for me. It was tighter action and had a bit of adventuring in the fun. Normally Fortnite rounds for me are either action and dead or boring and I am in the top 5. Not much in between when I play for some reason.

This Fortnite win features a few good displays of using the cars offensively as well as coupling them with the sword for some easy eliminations.

This is a port of the Konami version of Batman Returns to the Sega Genesis. Fans of the Sega 16-Bit console got a more action focused game from Sega themselves while Konami went the brawler route for the SNES port. Probably due to Sega holding the license on the Genesis is why we did not see Konami do a port themselves.

Horror movies seem to hardly ever get made into video games. Sure, the big names Freddy and Jason have at least one game to their franchise (regardless of quality), there aren’t many more slashers that can claim that. Soon Art the Clown from Terrifier will join their ranks with an upcoming brawler title. Fans of Streets of Rage 2 or Final Fight will want to listen up.
Adapting a Psychopath to GamingFreddy last got his own action-adventure game back in the 8-Bit days on the Nintendo Entertainment System. Jason recently had a game based on his adventures delisted and all that fun stuff that comes with digital only releases.
In 2025 we will be able to add Art the Clown and his brawler style game to that list of horror franchises that got a game.
Going with a brawler style game is interesting. As you can see from the video and GIFs, it is going to be bloody. Being based on Terrifier it must be gory and disgusting. I just wonder how far they will be able to push, if at all, the disgusting part in this art style.
There Must Be BloodBasing a game on a horror franchise is still quite a ballsy move. Gaming is still considered “kids” territory by most adults. People got in a hoopla over Disney integrating Hulu and the plethora of “not kid friendly” content available there into Disney Plus.
Anyone that remembers the outcry over Mortal Kombat knows how fickle parents can be and how little they pay attention to what their kids play. Not all, but the vocal ones.
A movie franchise like the Terrifier series dials the blood and guts up to 11 and has no qualms about it. The game must as well.
I just wonder if going with such a pixelated look will work in the favor the license or not. I know it will lend a lot more comedic elements to the blood and guts, maybe that is what they are going for here. Cartoon violence is easier to register than realistic looking stuff.
Terrifier The ARTcade Game is coming out in 2025 for Steam, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X/S.

In California a new law pertaining to the wording used by digital stores has been passed. This new law will force certain digital store fronts to change their wording and to educate customers about digital licenses.

Fans of 80s action movies surely know the movie franchise The Karate Kid, sure, it fell off as sequels came out but that original hits hard. No pun intended. While the last Karate Kid game I can remember was in the 8-bit days, it is awesome to finally see one in the brawler genre - why it took this long is mind boggling.
Karate Kid Street Rumble is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and Steam for PC's. It is about $40, which is kind of steep in my eyes but I guess that license is not cheap.

This is a brawler game based on the classic Bruce Campbell and Sam Rami movie, Evil Dead.

In 2023 a new snake was discovered in the Amazon in Brazil specifically. A species of green anaconda – looks like a big old nope rope to me. This thing is huge, the video does not even try to show how long it is but judging by the size of the head, it is long.

I am still quite new to Fortnite as a whole, only having begun to take it seriously in the last couple months (when I decided I was indeed quitting my day job). Before recently, I played a bit back in 2018 or so, quickly losing interest, I returned to Call of Duty Mobile (and considering I was playing on my work computer, I needed the room for, well, work). Now, I have a much better computer and decided to try Fortnite again. Then I see they have new modes and options.
What is Horde Rush in FortniteI was interested as soon as I saw this game mode. Rush usually means wave after wave of enemies – often called survival mode in other games. I was pleasantly surprised to see that is exactly what I was getting into with Horde Rush.
First thing about Horde Rush, you are in an extremely limited area to play. This keeps the action tight and the creatures swarm from all directions.
Obviously, your job is to stay alive. Find weapons, ammo, etc and use it all to your advantage, at least try anyhow.
Playing Horde Rush for the first timeAs mentioned earlier, the action is tight and focused. This makes things more frenetic, and action based. I like it. No having to run around 10 minutes trying to find a target to unload on.
Weapons and ammo seem to be littered around, like playing normal Battle Royale mode. The difference is the enemies come in from every direction and seem to not be bothered by the storm.
Make sure you have your sensitivity settings where you want them because aiming and looking around are key to surviving here. As you can see in the video, towards the end, I should have stayed on the high ground.

Take it with a grain of salt but Microids has announced the release date for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One Series, and Steam versions of Inspector Gadget Mad Time Party.
Considering this is Microids, I would not hold my breath to those dates being good.

Another video of my playing single player, duos no fill, which means I was fighting teams here. You will see a few times where I took out both members of the team.
One lucky shot took me out though. Finished in the Top 10 so all in all, not that bad a run considering the challenge level I signed up for here.

Hmm, this art style, it is quite interesting, apparently known as rubber band style, tied to film noire aesthetics, makes Mouse rather interesting. Imagine Quake with a 1930s black and white cartoon styling and you will be close to what Mouse appears to be.

This is one of those videos that was fun, challenging, and special to make. It is a cover for Time After Time that I found on YouTube. The lipsyncing could be better, this was a learning experiment for me.
Still a fun video to put together as there was over 3 minutes of content to edit down to about 35 seconds of usable video. I could not imagine taking hours and hours and editing that down to a coherent movie like we see professionals do - much respect to the editing team on entertainment we enjoy.

When Konami released Castlevania into the world, in late 1986, they probably had no idea what they had created. For years it was viewed as a Nintendo Entertainment System game – disregarding the arcade and computer versions. As far as consoles went, yes, it was a Nintendo NES exclusive franchise, for years this stood true. Sega would have to wait till later in the life of their Sega Genesis to get a version of Castlevania (Bloodlines for those wondering). Well, thanks to fans, the Sega Master System (precursor to the Genesis) is getting a version of the first Castlevania.
Whip it goodOther than Castlevania, I cannot think of a vampire hunter that uses a whip for their weapon of choice. Most use wooden stakes, holy water, and crosses. The latter two do make an appearance in Castlevania, as secondary weapons. Maybe Konami got the idea to use a whip from the Indiana Jones movies? Come to think of it, the whip is a severely underrated weapon in gaming.
Castlevania for the SMS is not solely based on the NES version, nor the arcade. It is based on the Castlevania Chronicles version, released in 1993 on the Sharp X68000 (few even know what that is) and then on the Sony PlayStation in 2001 (the version most will recognize).
That means the graphics are better than the 8-Bit NES one, featuring more detail, especially in the backgrounds. I am all for it, honestly. I am not interested in a straight port – if I wanted that, I would just play the original.
More than a demakeI like where they are talking about taking this port. The developer behind this has stated they may include some Symphony of the Night elements here. That would be interesting, I wonder what elements they could be hinting at?

I just could not help myself, I had to butt in on this fire fight between these two opponents. Had I not fired, it is likely the winner would not have known I was even spectating their fight.
It was satisfying watching the round cross the level and hit the opponent I was aiming for.
The other opponent obviously saw the angle the shot came in from as they immediately made a bee line for my area. Considering my location was the only hill nearby, it was probably quite clear where I was.
Still, quit a satisfying shot sending that opponent back to the lobby. 😂
