A podcast deconstruction of John Cage: "I have nothing to say and I am saying it and this is poetry"

The experience awakened in me an interest in
hypnotic trance. I began to read up on the practice,
checking out library books on the subject. I learned
that not all people are susceptible to hypnotic
suggestion. Even in a clinical setting, the practice
of hypnotism is an uncertain science and the only
way a clinical hypnotist can determine the suggestibility
of a subject is to administer the hypnotic
suggestibility test. In essence, this simply means
that a person trained in hypnotic technique attempts
to induce trance in a subject. A subject’s susceptibility
to hypnotic suggestion is determined by the
success or failure of the procedure, it is no more
scientific than that.

Each person produced their recording so that the sound of the voice is within a particular space.
