AliveAndThriving: How To Set Up Your 3speak Account ProperlySo I got a question about how to post videos on 3speak as they had some trouble with it, and here I go through how to set up your 3speak account properly so you can start posting videos on Hive with 3speak.
This is the steps that you need to take.
- Create a 3speak account using Email and Password on 3speak.tv.
- Connect your 3speak account to Hive, go to your 3speak Studio inside your 3speak account, then click on your Profile Image and select Get HIVE Account from the menu, and then click on the Connect Existing Hive Account button.
- Authorize this with Hivesigner, and you need to give Posting Authority to the threespeak account.
- Once done you have connected your 3speak account to Hive and are ready to start posting videos, just select Upload and follow the instructions.
- Also check the Hive Video Masters ebook from the banner below on how to create your first video (it needs some updating regarding the We Are Alive Tribe, but otherwise the info is still relevant).

AliveAndThriving: Brofi Shuts Down - ALIVE Staking Rewards In BRO Not Affected
So yesterday @raymondspeaks who is the owner of the BRO token and who also runs Brofi announced that Brofi has shut down, see screenshot from their Discord below.

This does not affect the BRO token, just the ability to earn BRO by delegating tokens to @brofi, so if you have any tokens delegated you might want to undelegate, or maybe wait a few days and see if it goes back up and then undelegate if it does not.
This does also not affect the 0.43 BRO that we pay out in staking rewards to ALIVE stakeholders each day.
We have been earning a small amount of BRO from Brofi on @aliveprojects, but it was only marginal in relation to what we have paid out.
So the 0.43 BRO and the 5 PGM tokens that we are currently paying out to ALIVE stakeholders will just continue as is.
Planning Ahead I am currently working on updating the payout script that I am using to pay out these rewards, and as we have over 2300 ALIVE stakeholders that means more than 4600 transactions each day on @youarealive, which takes quite a bit of resource credits to do.
With this update I also hope to reduce the amount of Resource Credits that we need to do these payouts, and if that is enough to add one more token to our payouts then we will do so, but that is all details about it for now.
I hope to have the updated script ready later today, and if not then tomorrow, and once we have run a full payout we also know exactly how much Resource Credits we are saving with this, and if we can add one more token to the list.

AliveAndThriving: Use Engage Dapp - And Never Miss Any Replies Or Mentions
Engage is a Dapp on Hive that is run and owned by @arcange, and you can find it here, https://engage.hivechain.app/
You login using Hive Keychain or Hivesigner, and it will show you any unanswered comments and mentions that you have for the past 7 days, minus any that you have ignored in the dapp itself.
To the left you have a list with all comments, and the bigger field to the right shows the one you are working on at the moment, you can write a reply, and also select to upvote as well, and when done it moves on to the next.
You can select to ignore a comment and even an author if you want, plus you can use comment templates which is great if you have a comment footer you want to use.
This is just some of the features, check it our for yourself, I am using it every day, and the big point is that it goes fast and you will never miss any comment or mention.

AliveAndThriving: Make And Priorotize A Daily Task List To Be More Productive
One of the best ways in which to be more productive with your time is to have a daily task list, you plan it out each day before you start the day, and then follow it and check off each item as you go.
As we all know unexpected things can happen throughout the day and which requires you to adjust your task list, to account for this then give each task a prioroty, either Must Do or Want To Do, this way you can easily adjust the task list on the fly without spending time on replanning.
Once you have your task list you focus on the task at hand and do that until it's done, this eliminates distractions, which can otherwise be a time theif.
All of this together makes you use the time you have in a more productive way.
One more thing is to work on minimizing the number and size of the tasks that you do each day, this to be able to focus more on development, which is what moves things forward, and this is also something that I need to work more on myself as well.

AliveAndThriving: The Importance Of Original Content And Source Linking Pictures
So on Hive, which is a decentralized blockchain, we have a shared rewards pool, and we have Upvotes and Downvotes to decide how this rewards pool is distributed.
As the Hive community decides how to distribute the rewards there are still some unofficial common agreement of what is ok and what is not ok to post in regards to being fair about this common rewards pool.
For someone new to Hive this can sometimes be a bit hard to understand, or to know what these unofficial rules are, but the most common points are these 3.
- Only post your own original content on Hive, content that you have made yourself and not published before.
- If you are publishing pictures or graphics that you have made yourself, then also state that they are your own, or what program you used to create it with.
- And if you are using free to use pictures from the internet, like from Pexels for example, then add a source link to it, so that it's easy to see that you have the right to use it.
By following these 3 points you will avoid a lot of trouble, as you can get downvoted if you don't, and your own content is most likely more you and more personal anyways, and therefore easier for you to build relations and networking on the blockchain, which is the foundation of long term success on Hive.

AliveAndThriving: Don't Be Invisible On Hive - Even If You're Anonymous
After going through some posts in the We Are Alive Tribe I bumped into one with no profile picture, no post header, and almost no title, but the content was good.
I got the impression that they wanted to be anonymous, but had gone so far they actually made themselves invisible instead.
By all means be anonymous if you want, but don't make yourself invisible.
- Have a profile picture, something that is you, even if it's not of yourself, this tells people that you are serious.
- Always have a graphic or a photograph as your post header, this is how you advertise your post.
- Make a good title, it should be both descriptive and something that peaks people's interest, to make people want to know more, and read your post or watch your video.
So before posting, always check that you have all 3 before publishing your post.

So I just got a big #My1440 coffee mug from Lisa (@lisamgentile1961), it arrived in the mail yesterday, and in the video you will see me unpack it and talk a bit about what it is about.
My1440 is part of Lisa's TIME token on Hive-engine and her website My1440.today, which is all about time management and using time productively, so quite fitting with a big mug of coffee to keep me awake. 🥳
Being productive is also great if we want to thrive in life as well, #AliveAndThriving.

AliveAndThriving: The Plan To Start Paying Out Dividends To ALIVE Stakeholders
So I have mentioned about this plan to a few people already, but it is now time to put this plan into writing and share it with everyone so that we can get things moving a bit faster.
I will write it out here too so that non English speakers can get the details as well.
The Plan The plan is to pay out daily or weekly dividends to ALIVE token stakeholders, and the dividends will consist of 4 tokens that also pays out dividends themselves.
- DHEDGE
- UTOPIS
- BRO
- INDEX
So by staking ALIVE tokens, that are either earned or bought, then stakeholders will earn the above tokens in a daily or weekly payout that we will set up.
The Funds The funds to buy the dividends that we pay out will come from @aliveprojects, and I am currently upping my beneficiary rewards to that account so that we will have a meaningful amount to pay out.
Currently we are compounding the earnings we have on that account and then use half of those to buy ALIVE tokens that we stake, and the other half is used to buy the 4 tokens we talked about above.
This will be slightly changed once we start to pay out dividends, we will use one third to buy ALIVE tokens for staking, and 2 thirds to buy the 4 above mentioned tokens, and half of those 4 tokens that we buy will then be used to pay out the dividends to ALIVE token stakeholders.
The Payouts We will use the @youarealive account to do the payouts, and as I said either daily or weekly, and we have 2 reasons for that.
This account is already in use for our tipping bot, and therefore we have set up Beem with it's Hiveengine module for it on a small server instance that keeps running 24/7 and sending out tips, so the infrastructure to add the scripts and/or bots that we need for paying out divdends is mostly in place, we just need to code them too.
The @youarealive account also have a 500 HP delegation in place as well, which will hopefully be sufficient for the payout transactions as well, but if not it is easy to increase that.
The Coding I have myself looked into some Python programming lessons on W3schools, however that is not sufficient to code what we need here, and I am not likely to have the time to learn it in the time frame that we want this to happen in, even if I am a fast learner lol.
I do however know of 4 coders in the We Are Alive Tribe, and at least 1 who have voiced interest in helping out with coding this, and I am sure that at least 1 more would also be very interested too.
So we will put together a team to code this thing and get it up and running.
The Time Frame The goal is to have this all up and running within the next 2 to 3 months, it will take some time to get the funding to a higher level, plus we also want the new tribe ebook launched first before we launch payouts of dividends.

Here I talk about the ALIVE token and a way in which I think we should update how it works to improve it's contingency.

Hi there and welcome to my vlog, my name is Erik Gustafsson and I go by the handle @flaxz.
Suggesting Update - To Improve Token Contingency So yesterday @imfarhad made a post about tribe token contingency and what would happen if a token owner would be gone, what if - a hive-engine token owner seize to exist.
This got me thinking about our ALIVE token and what would happen if I was no longer there, and there is one thing in particular that hit me.
Right now the token is owned by the @wearealive account, but Scotbot and Nitrous is on the @aliveandsocial account, and every week I manually issue new tokens so that Scotbot has a rewards pool of tokens to deliver.
The reason for doing that was to increase the security, @aliveandsocial has delegated Active Authority to @tokendistributor, which is the account owned by Hive-engine that is integrated with Scotbot, and if that got hacked and we have the token owned on the same account then the hacker would be able to issue all tokens of the max supply.
Having the token owned on a different account is limiting the harm that would be caused if the Hive-engine account was to be hacked.
But the question is if I have not overthinked that part a bit, first of all how likely Hive-engine would survive such a hack to begin with, but more importantly the human factor, me, what if something happened to me and I was unable to be there and keep issueing tokens.
Some tribes that do it the way we currently do is Sportstalk and Neoxian, and some tribes that do it all automatically is Leofinance, Proof Of Brain and CTPtalk, so there is no clear consensus on the right way to do it.
But there is also one more factor here, I know that Hive-engine is working on replacing Scotbot with a Smart Contract, how far they have come with that work and when it will be released is something I don't know though.
But if we change to fully automatic by updating this part when we need to update Scotbot anyways, which is when we activate the miners, ALIVEM, then we are able to very easily move from Scotbot to a Smart Contract once that is available, and with a Smart Contract we would no longer need to delegate Active Authority.
So what I suggest here is that we move ALIVE and ALIVEM from @wearealive to @aliveandsocial and make our whole token operation automatic and thereby eliminating the human factor, making me not neccesary for the continued operation of the tribe.
This would of course just be the first step in our contingency plan, there are other factors as well to consider, but what do you think about this suggested change?

In the same post I also lay out the details for how we will fund the operation of these miners, and it's basically done by selling them on the market, and we need 1000 Hive in standing buy orders at 5 Hive per miner before we issue the first 1000 ALIVEM.
Do also note that they don't have any decimals when placing buy orders.
We need 2100 BEE to make the miners operational, so depending on the price of BEE we might need to sell some more miners than the 200 that is sold by the first 1000 Hive before they can start mining ALIVE tokens.
The first 1000 ALIVEM will be sold for 5 Hive each, and then the price will double for every 1000 more issued until we reach our max of 15 000 miners.
Every hour there will be 20 winners, and they share 20% of the daily rewards of the tribe.

ALIVE Tipping Bot? - My Idea To Make It Happen So the goal has always been to find a way to reward ALIVE token stakeholders with 50% of the ALIVE earnings on the @alive.chat account.
After researching a bit I have found that it would be both costly and expensive to make a bot that drips them out to the stakeholders.
Hive-engine does however provide a free tipping bot called Distribubot, and I think we can use this to create a tipping bot instead, and base it's usage to how much each stakeholder have staked in ALIVE Power.
I have shared some thoughts and ideas about this already in the Alive Chat, but to move forward we basically need to test to see where the best levels are and to optimize it so that it can be based on 50% of ALIVE earnings on @alive.chat.
If possible we might also be able to reward the tipper with a Tipping Reward too, and after some feedback it seems that we should go for many tips per account, and thereby a lower tipping amount per tip.
But this will all be worked out after testing and the feedback we get from that, so what do you think about this idea?

We Are Alive - Let's Have A Staking Contest - Minimum 1000 ALIVE Token Giveaway So I think it is time to dust off #AliveOnThursday, and doing so by introducing a staking contest for the ALIVE token, and I am putting up a minimum of 1000 ALIVE tokens myself for this.
If anyone wants to add more to the prize pool feel free to do so.
How Does It Work? So this staking contest works as follows if you want to take part.
- Make a comment below with your username and a screenshot of your current ALIVE Power.
- Stake ALIVE tokens in your account and make sure to do so before next Thursday.
- Next Thursday I will put the numbers together for all participants and calculate how much percentage increase they have made since the start.
- The percentage increase is then what determines how much of the ALIVE givaway they get in relation to everyone else.
- Once all prizes are calculated I will pay out the full ALIVE token giveaway to eligeble participants, and the tokens will be staked to their accounts.

Updated Plan For The @iamalivechalleng Account So we have earlier talked about tokenizing the Hive Power of @iamalivechalleng and it even went into our White Paper.
Now I also have a clearer picture of how to support the We Are Alive Tribe with Hive Power curation, and to be honest I don't think such a token for the @iamalivechalleng account is the best idea, and for 2 reasons.
The Goal With This Account To start with the @iamalivechalleng account is using ALIVE Power to vote on #IAmAliveChallenge posts, and it is hosting the daily Alive Engagement Contest that gives away 200 Hive Power for 4 weeks each day.
That is the goal and focus, and I also want it to become self sustainable in the future, meaning that the account has the ability to take the cost of leasing that HP, plus I also plan to have a second winner each day that recieves a delegation of ALIVE Power, once that is enabled.
Having an ownership token of the HP on that account will make the above plans much harder since the assets is either locked as HP and tokenized, or else used to pay dividends to delegators.
This then means that such a token would work contrary to those goals.
We Are Tokenizing The Hive Power Of @thisisawesome The second reason here is that we are already moving to tokenize the owned Hive Power of @thisisawesome, and you can check the details of this plan here, This Is Awesome - The Plan Ahead.
This account is already voting with over 13 600 HP, most of it delegated, and thereby is much bigger in terms of HP.
In addition to this it does not only vote on IAAC posts, but also on #LukeIsAlive posts, and covering the whole We Are Alive Tribe, and the CTPtalk tribe, and the Actifit dapp, and finally the #Freewrite project.
What this means is that @thisisawesome has a much wider voting pattern, and a big thing is that it covers our whole tribe, that does not mean voting on every post, but voting on the posts that it can.
It's quite important to note that if @iamalivechalleng where to have a lot of HP then only voting on IAAC posts might be seen as a too narrow voting pattern, and could even cause trouble in the future.
These are the 2 main reasons that I can see to not do such a token on @iamalivechalleng but why it is a great idea for @thisisawesome to do it.
@iamalivechalleng can instead focus on it's main goals, upvoting IAAC posts with ALIVE Power and run the Alive Engagement Contest and move towards doing that with it's own earnings.

We Are Alive - Tribe Moderation Using @zombiepatrol So up until now I have just tried talking to people that have posted unrelated content in our tribe, and also pointing them to our posting guidelines, We Are Alive - What Is This Tribe About? - And What To Post Here?.
But today I used our tribes official downvote moderation account @zombiepatrol to remove ALIVE rewards and mute a few posts with completely unrelated content.
I don't like downvoting, but the fact is that we need to do this so that, and especially this early, because otherwise we will just drown in unrelated content later on.
By doing this we are actually making both ourselves and them a service, they know to only post on topic content here, and we get the content that is related to our tribe, something which is also good for our ALIVE token too.

I Have Updated Scotbot - @reward.app Now Compatible With ALIVE So after finding out that ALIVE token earnings was not compatible with @reward.app which is a service to earn all author rewards in liquid form I decided to compensate earlier posts myself, Reward.app Update - I Am Using My Own Earnings To Compensate.
Since then I have also been trying to get people to stop using that dapp until we can fix it, which I intended to do when we launch the miners.
However some people have just ignored my comments about it and this would have just kept paying out ALIVE tokens to @reward.app which don't have the info to pay them out to the right accounts.
They have so far also kept all funds liquid without either selling or staking, and that would have become one big unknown factor that I don't feel comfortable with.
So I have now paid for 100 BEE myself and updated the settings of Scotbot to ignore @reward.app beneficiaries for ALIVE token rewards, which means they will now be paid out to the authors instead.
This means it is now fixed for all payouts from the time it was updated, and I have also paid from my own earnings to all accounts with posts that paid out before the update.
I will publish the full details of those payouts either on Monday or Tuesday.

Update About The Miners - Suggestion For A Better Strategy The original idea for the miners was that we should increase the number of winners per hour as we released more miners to the market, but then we found out that the max winners per hour is 20.
The miners are acting like a ticket to an hourly drawing that gets 20 winners at most, and I did not have a good idea on how to adapt to that at the time.
The max supply of miners that we have is 1 million, and with just 20 winners per hour we will not be able to sell them, so I have now thought out what I think is a much better idea.
The idea is to have a max of 15 000 miners, the rest of the max supply, 985 000, will then be burned by sending them to @null.
The reason why we need miners in the first place is to fund tribe development and to buy and stake BEE in the @aliveandsocial account in relation to active users, 1 BEE per active user is a requirement from Hive-engine.
Now back to the 15 000 miners, that is a low enough number for each miner to count, but high enough that we can set an initial price that is affordable also to smaller accounts.
The pricing I have thought of is to start at 5 Hive per miner for the first 1000, and then double that for each 1000 that is put on the market, which makes the table look like this.

Selling 15 000 miners with the old strategy would yield 25 500 Hive, and selling the full 1 million would yield 50 950 000 Hive, but we would not be able to do that.
In this setup selling all 15 000 miners would yield 163 835 000 Hive, not very likely unless we grow to 100 million active users, in which case all miners would still be meaningful and mining ALIVE tokens at an attractive rate to it's holders.
What this stategy does is to make each miner count in the hourly drawings, and at the same time it also makes them much more valuable over time to people holding them.
So my suggestion is that we update our White Paper and use this strategy for ALIVEM, what do you think?
I want your feedback.
Plan For Releasing The Miners If the above plan is accepted, then we follow the plan to fund the operation of the miners by selling them on the market.
We need 1000 BEE to enable Staking, and 1000 BEE to enable the Mining Smart Contract, plus 100 BEE to adjust the settings of Scotbot, so 2100 BEE in total and we get them by selling the miner tokens.
This means that the miners will not be working when we start selling them, so therefore I want to see standing buy orders of ALIVEM at the 5 Hive price point of at least 1000 Hive before I feel confident to release them on the market.

We Are Alive - Building Market Support For The ALIVE token The rewards token of the We Are Alive Tribe on Hive-engine is called ALIVE, and right now we are busy building a support level for it.
So far we have a very wide trading range, from about 0.041 Hive in standing buy orders to 0.4 Hive in standing sell orders, and people are actually making a few market orders in both directions right now.
As for myself I am adding limit orders to buy ALIVE tokens, and to get the current level up in a long term sustainable way, and others are also adding standing buy orders around those levels, which is really great to see, thank you very much.
I do not know where we will level off and the buy orders we put up will start to match the sell orders that are made, but I think we have a bit to grow more, and by adding more standing buy orders and slowly raising the level we can also support it long term.
Now this level is also separate from the buy wall that I am sustaining at 0.02 Hive, which is my promise, and that is there to make sure that the price the founders paid for ALIVE tokens is the cheapest that they will ever be.
Right now the use case of the token is as a rewards token that can be staked to use for curation in our tribe, but I have big plans to increase this a lot going forward.
And one thing that is being built right now is the @aliveprojects account, I earlier donated my dCity to that account, and I am busy building a financial income machine there using a combination of DHEDGE and BRO as the base, and then using half that income for compounding and the other half to buy and stake ALIVE tokens that will be used to delegate ALIVE Power to tribe member projects once token delegation has been enabled.
