In the final chapter of 'October,' Bart goes to visit the only mysterious address he has available following his awakening from the coma. He doesn't know where he's going, but he knows it's the right path.
Ten years have passed. Bart emerges as someone he doesn't recognize, with a body that is foreign to him. Who is he? Where is he? What happened?
Bart is brought back to where it started- to where the whole story began. He witnesses all of his fears and all of his naivity come to a tee. He makes a last-nerve effort to save his past self, saving the present in doing so.
Bart faces the fierce realities of the void he's been thus far trapped in- the visions have become so vivid, and his thoughts have gone wild. At once, Bart is faced with some of the worst realizations.
In the midst of his question, Christine gives Bart the best piece of advice he'll ever receive: "Give It Time."
Bart is directionless; having followed a path his entire life, Bart will have to decide to lead HIMSELF through his OWN mind, for once.
Christine has what she believes to be her final encounter with her brother- a tragic moment for her and Bart alike.
When the world never seemed to understand Bart, he always turned to his 'sketches', or so he calls the comics that are OBVIOUSLY sketches, since it's all in black and white anyways...right?
Can Bart withstand the trauma hiding in the far corners of his mind? Will his own head prove his strongest enemy and his greatest weakness?
The Swinton family anxiously awaits the diagnosis of their son. No one is affected harder than Christine Swinton.
The void has put Bart through the hell he never knew existed within his head- but now it's messing with him even more. As his emotions change, so do the surrounding contrasts and brightness of things all around him. Somehow, Bart isn't convinced these are mere shades of black and white any longer, but what then could they be?
Bart has never felt more alone yet in his life with the absence of Christine around. He comforts himself with simple reads and other things that make him feel better about his deafness. He soon discovers the surface of a secret he never thought possible.
Bart speaks the first words he's ever heard in his life, without knowing how to speak! Frantically searching for answers through the void, the voice leads him further through the coffers of his mind, as his questions grow and grow.
Last October, Bart's sister mysteriously and haphazardly left for one week, following a freak fight with Bart and Christines' parents. Bart had no clue what was going on, or how to respond, but clues began to sprout up around him.
Bart is stuck deep within his psyche, with only the guiding voice of a ghostly figure unseen.
The Swintons arrive in the hospital as Bart lays unconscious, without any answers or any direction.

This is my first-ever time publishing an ENTIRE audiobook on my podcast; it's been a journey.
