Interrupting a busy mind, even for a few seconds can reset and refresh us.
Our brains can become so accustomed to receiving mindset nudges in a certain way. Sometimes, we need to hear something in a different way to have the desired outcome.
Welcome to what I call ‘Psychopoetry’. Here is your third poem called 'Verb Drills'. This invites you to think about the language of being in the present.

Welcome to the second of three coaching poems that I call ‘Psychopoetry’.
All you need to do, is take yourself to a quiet space and grab a few moments of something different to help you back to a state of ease.
This third in the series of modern meditations helps your brain tap into something different in order to help switch off a busy mind.
You don't need to be interested in cars to benefit, in fact, it might be better if you aren't!
Either way, the brain can switch off easier when we tap in to language we don't normally use every day.
So, grab a cup of something and a quiet spot. And let me know how you get on.
A tea break 6 minute modern meditation to reset and refresh a busy mind.
Today's topic to relax to is garden seeds.
In this episode, I explore the quality of our social interactions to make sure we stay in a positive frame of mind when out with others.
I will also be talking about something called ruminating, and how it can impact your daily state of ease.
I also cover the top three ways you can spot if you are ruminating and some simple actions you can take to make sure you are reaping the benefits of your time with others.
In episodes 2 and 3 I talked about how the brain works in stress and anxiety and shared a two part workout formula to keep ourselves in a balanced state. The formula is:
Positive Action and Positive Interaction leads to positive thinking.
In today's episode, we continue our brain workout with part two - positive interactions.
In this episode, we start our brain workout for positive thinking. The first part of the workout is taking Positive Actions...one thing at a time.
In order to know what works for us in getting back to balance, we need to become expert detectives on ourselves....and that means we need to learn how to notice.
This episode will introduce you to what noticing really means.
Paying attention to the smallest things that we say and do can have the biggest impact on our lives.
