Stu is joined by Chris Thomson to talk about his life and how he has battled anxiety along the way. A promising rugby talent that took him to study at Loughborough university, it was here that Chris first had to deal with not always being selected to play the sport he had grown up loving and excelling at. What he now knows to be anxiety manifested in different ways and Chris discusses this with Stu.

Finishing university and entering the working world Chris again excelled but his life suffered a huge loss when a good friend living in Sydney took his own life.

Chris admits to struggling to come to terms with the loss of Hamish and after thinking long and hard quit his busy city life and job in sales to hopefully become and full time adventurer and endurance athlete. Chris has undertook and completed 32 back to back ultra marathons in all 32 Scottish councils and in recent weeks casually cycled 600 km to meet up with friends!!!

Stu is joined by Walmer's 2010 Australian overseas star Dan Giles. A combative left handed top order batsman Dan shone during his time in the UK. Scoring nearly 1200 runs at an average a fraction below 40 Dan and Stu chat about that 2010 season. Although not successful in terms of results Dan talks us through the season from his perspective and highlights some of the ups and downs he and the club experienced. It certainly was a transitional period for the club but there were many positives to be found from their overseas player that year.  Dan picks a combined ashes XI consisting of players from 2005 onwards.  There is a small amount of AFL talk also.

Where has the time gone? Myself and Phil say it on every episode we record so this week we set about asking where has a whole year of podcasting gone? A good old fashioned chat about what we expected, what we have learned and of course what could we have done better. Life about learning and we are so proud of everything we have achieved with this podcast. Thanks to all who have come on the journey with us.

Jimmy And Rodney join Stu and Phil to chat about whats drives them to devote so much time to helping others. Rodney has created a huge movement in the USA by creating the brand "Raising men and women" through the 50 yard challenge volunteer lawn mowing movement. While Jimmy runs his own turf maintenance and landscape business he works tirelessly promoting the business and attracting sponsors allowing him to give up his spare time for free to cut and maintain grass roots sports fields. While lawn mowing is the link this episode is far far deeper than that!! A true pleasure to record and produce.

Stu is joined by former greenkeeper and Ohio state student Will Goldstone.  Will always wanted to work in golf and having started his career in the UK Will headed over to the USA as one of the youngest ever Ohio state project candidates. After a great experience and some impressive tournament experience Will returned home to take a position on the construction project team of one of the UK's premier golf courses at JCB just outside Uttoxeter. Being keen to learn and progress Will soon came to the realisation that his ambitions might not be matched by the industry itself. Will left to join the construction trade and has never looked back. This episode is a great story of success but also of loss to the industry.

Stu is joined by Zoe to discuss her journey of recovery. Zoe grew up in a household where she was exposed to alcohol consumption on a daily basis and started her drinking at a young age. Back before ID being required Zoe regularly attended night clubs before the age of eighteen and soon recognised her drinking and behaviour to be different to that of her friends. The title of this episode was one of two great quotes i got from Zoe in the research of this podcast. the second great quote was "I enjoyed the effect more then the taste". So many people will recognise this and won't be surprised to hear stories of consumption beyond what normal drinkers can comprehend.
