"There is one truth that matters, and it's the truth of you." — Bree Divine
What if recovery isn’t something you carry forever?
In this episode, Lisa McNett explores the deeper layers of healing beyond traditional recovery models. Drawing from her personal experience with addiction, she challenges the idea that recovery must be a lifelong identity and opens the door to a new possibility—true transformation.
This conversation looks at how identity, nervous system patterns, and belief systems shape our healing, and what becomes possible when we move beyond managing the past into fully evolving beyond it.
In this episode, we explore the deeper truth behind seasonal allergies, lung health, and the role of the immune system—beyond what most people have been taught.
For years, I struggled with chronic congestion and allergies that never fully resolved, despite medication. It wasn’t until I began studying holistic health and living in an Ayurvedic environment that I understood what was really happening in my body.
In this conversation, I share how allergies are often connected to immune system overload, the health of the lungs, and how the body processes both physical and emotional input.
We also explore:
This episode is an invitation to see your body differently—not as something that’s working against you, but as something that is constantly trying to clear, regulate, and restore balance.

In today’s world, we are constantly consuming — books, podcasts, social media, trainings — always taking in more information. But does more information actually lead to more clarity… or is it creating more noise in the mind?
In this episode of One Breath Wisdom, Lisa McNett explores the relationship between information, thought patterns, and true wisdom. Inspired by a conversation with someone who read 1,000 books in five years, this episode invites a deeper question:
👉 Are you integrating what you take in… or just filling your mind?
Lisa dives into:
Why a full mind is not a clear mind
The difference between information and embodied wisdom
How overconsumption leads to mental noise and disconnection from your own inner knowing
Where thoughts actually come from — and how many are truly “yours”
The mind as a receiver tuning into different frequencies
The connection between nervous system state and thought patterns
Why creating space is essential for clarity, insight, and growth
This episode is a powerful reminder that more information does not equal more truth — and that what you may really need is not more input, but more space.

Presence Begins With Self-Care | One Breath Wisdom with Lisa McNett
In this episode of One Breath Wisdom, Lisa McNett explores the powerful connection between self-care and presence, especially for therapists, coaches, healers, and anyone who holds space for others.
Presence isn’t something we can force. It arises naturally when the nervous system is regulated and the body feels supported.
Lisa shares insights from nearly two decades in the healing field and discusses how simple daily practices like movement, nourishment, and breath support clarity, energy, and our ability to truly meet others.
If you support others professionally — or simply want to feel more grounded and present in your life — this episode offers practical wisdom you can begin applying immediately.
In this episode, you’ll learn:
• Why self-care is essential for those who hold space for others
• What true presence actually means
• How the nervous system influences presence
• Why movement is critical for mental and emotional clarity
• How breath directly impacts energy and focus
• Small habits that can dramatically improve presence
Key Takeaway
Self-care is not a luxury — it is a responsibility for anyone supporting others. When we care for our bodies and nervous systems, presence becomes natural.
And presence is one of the most powerful forms of support we can offer another human being.

Non-Attachment, Neutrality, and the Most Powerful Way to Hold Space
What if the most loving thing you could offer someone isn’t empathy… or even love?
What if it’s neutrality?
In this episode, Lisa explores the deeper meaning of non-attachment — not as emotional detachment, suppression, or spiritual bypassing, but as the embodied capacity to hold presence without agenda.
Drawing from her work training facilitators at One Breath Institute, Lisa shares a powerful exercise she often guides students through: experiencing the difference between holding space from negative emotion, from love, and from neutrality.
Again and again, students discover something surprising.
Neutral often feels the safest, clearest, and most supportive.
Why?
Because neutrality removes projection, expectation, and unconscious pressure. It allows another person to access their own intelligence without being pulled into our emotional field.
In this episode, Lisa explores:
• The difference between neutrality and emotional detachment
• Why sending “love” can sometimes feel heavy in therapeutic spaces
• How attachment to outcomes subtly disrupts presence
• The connection between neutrality and Buddhist non-attachment
• Why facilitators must process their own emotions to hold clear space for others
True non-attachment doesn’t mean avoiding emotion.
It means allowing emotion to move fully through the body so we can return to a centered, grounded state of presence.
When we reach that place of neutrality, something profound happens:
The work becomes alive.
Clients access their own wisdom.
And healing unfolds naturally.
