Hello People, California Recognizes Pride Month!
In this episode, we discuss Florida's Stand Your Ground Law and develop reasons why the law does not apply to Ajike “AJ” Owens. I am praying for her family and kids and wish them the best as they walk such a difficult path.
Furthermore, The Supreme Court has ruled that Alabama needs to redraw its voting map to allow an additional Black majority district to account for the fact that the state is 27% Black. Huge Win!

*Hello People,
In this episode, I talk about immigration and my take on it. We all know that with a Presidential race right around the corner, this topic is sure to come up.
The question that we all want to know is: What are you going to do about immigration? And how can you improve the current system?
I personally can not answer these questions but I can at least give you some background knowledge, to build a foundation.*

Hello People,
In this episode, we are talking about self-love for 2023. Making sure you look after yourself because at the end of the day, we all need someone to lean on but first, we need to be able to lean on ourselves. The theme for this year is "It's about me", what that means is you need to put yourself first this year. Understand your own needs and be willing to let things go that don't fit your lifestyle. Knowing that it's okay for you to say "no" to people because you have been putting everyone first but that changes now!
In the second part of the show, we talk about George Santos, who lying about his resume to obtain the office of Congressman. Now we all have lied about some part of our resume but not as much as Goerge Santos has. We had a Guest Speaker: @Laurel K Rutledge, she gave us some insight on what could happen if you were caught lying on your resume and also how to enhance it as well.

Today’s episode is about Roe v Wade being overturned by the Supreme Court. As we all know this decision affects so many women and young girls in the country that we call home. I understand that you may have your own religious standing on the matter but understand that the government is dictating what women can and can not do with their own bodies. My amazing guests (Stephanie, Phillip, and Debra ) share their unique points of view on the matter.

Hello Community!
*This past month was PRIDE and we all celebrate in different ways. Some of us take to social media and voice our concerns. Most of us go to parties and/or clubs. But all of us need to raise our voices to signal the need for change. We can not forget the foundation laid out in the 1969 Stonewall Riots. One thing to never forget, our Voices are the most powerful weapon that we have. Visibility and Our Voices is how we will irrupt change for us and the next generation to come.

**Happy Women’s History Month!
This is the month that we honor Women for all they have done for us as a community. Women have taken on roles that most people in today's age would never do. We don’t just honor Women for a month we Honor Women year-round. We learned what child abuse really is and it does not line up with what Texas Gov Abbott is calling it. Parents that are helping their child transition don’t even come close to child abuse it is the complete opposite. We as a community need to stand up and speak out against Government Officials who are trying to rip apart families because they don’t agree with the parent's choices.

**Happy Black History Month!
Carter G Woodson is the Founder of Negro Week which later in time is now called Black History Month. Woodson understood his calling to shine light in Black American History and for every generation to understand the struggles we as Culture have faced but also showcase the achievements. Education is an unbiased institution; we live in a world where we fear what is not normal. The “Don’t Say Gay” Bill will make schools for our LGBTQ students feel as though their safe zones are no longer safe. This legislation is more hateful and in no way helpful.

Augustus Jackson and Senator John Lewis have achieved so much in their lives. We often look at their struggles and we think to ourselves if we are facing the same problems in the present day. 90% of the time we are it just looks different. Summary of the show:Good Morning Everyone,
With the holidays being over now, it's time to take care of our health again. Covid-19 is surging all over again. Please make sure that you are wearing your mask everywhere you go. Florida let over 1 million test kits go to waste. Our Gov Ron Desantis first lied and told Florida that he knew nothing about the test but then later reviled that he knew about the test and didn't know what to do with them. The Biden Administration finally told the world who to blame for January 6 Capital Hill attack. I think his speech is will put people in their place about a) what really happened that day and b) what the former president was doing during the time of the attack. We are so good at giving relationship advice to other people but when it comes to our own relationship we turn to Reddit.

"A woman is human. She is not better, wiser, stronger, more intelligent, more creative, or more responsible than a man. Likewise, she is never less." - Unknown. Whether you're a Women or a Trans Women or even LGBTQ+ we all deserve to be treated equally nothing less than that. This episode all sheds light on Women around the world and the issues they are facing every day. Women with children are working more from home because it's easier to do child care and more involved in your child's life.

Welcome Back Everyone,
I had the amazing chance to sit down via web chat with Paralegal Kim Garrison. Ms. Garrison shares her thoughts on the Kyle Rittenhouse case. We also talk about knowing your rights and laws in case you ever get caught up in the criminal justice system. Not only is she a Black Women but a Mother of two and a Paralegal she has a different look on the world because now she feels better equipped with knowing the law.

Welcome Back Everyone,
We talked Self Defense as a whole and what elements you need in order to use it in court. As a Prosecutor, your main and only job is to disprove that what happened was not acted in Self Defense. In this trial alone it was very difficult for the jury to not only understand what Self Defense is but to make sure that Rittenhouse didn't just go on a killing spree. As I've stated in the podcast this case was a double-edged sword it can be seen both ways. No one should have lost their lives that night.

Good Evening Everyone,
Today's episode was very emotional to record due to Season 1 coming to a close and also giving my father's eulogy. I have always had dreams of giving his eulogy but I never really knew what I would say. I still have dreams where we talk about life and what he sees for my future. I am blessed that I got the chance to chance to call him dad throughout his time here on earth. But I'm also blessed to be able to have a dad in the first place. Not many people can say they had both parents in their life. I hope what I said about my dad helps someone out there dealing with family problems or even health problems at that.
Season 2 will be launching around November 13th or 20th. It all depends on how life plays out from here until those dates.

Good Evening Everyone,
First off, Thank You for all the listens. This podcast has grown so much in a matter of 4 or 5 months. It took me some time to edit this due to being on vacation and I also had a family death too.
In this episode, we talk about R-Kelly and his trial. I also mention how we as the black community like to pick a choice who we defame and who we protect. We protected R-Kelly for years and some of us are still doing it as of today. We can not approve of what he did it was not right and downright disgusting. He is and always will be a Predator! Kenneth Petty aka Minaj's husband is also facing the same fate because of crimes he did in the past. Which may or may not affect his wife Nicki Minaj.

Welcome Back to Another Episode!
Words can not explain how passionate I was when recording this episode. I honestly feel that as a community we have better things to fight over than a comedian who makes jokes that some of us disagree with. Netflix has already given their statement that they are not going to pull The Closer off their platform. Let's move on and fight a battle that's worth fighting! For example: Making sure our Transgender Youth has the freedom to use the bathroom that they identify with. Making sure our LGBTQ+ Youth have a safe place to work and not feel like they are targeted. Those are just some Wars that we should be fighting for and making sure we are moving forward to achieve them.

Good evening, ladies, and Gentlemen,
This Show was by far amazing to record! As I stated before, Dumas and I connected on a Podmatch which in other words a dating site for podcasters to connect with potential guests and or other podcasters. We talked about many things in this episode from how I came to Florida to my Law Enforcement Career. We transitioned our conversation into how we could grow as Black Podcasters and how to reach out to the community and get them involved in the podcast community. Furthermore, Dumas asked me how we can change the system. I stated that we need the change to come from inside the organization in order to see change. Change does not come overnight, it takes time and hard work. As always.......

Good evening, ladies, and Gentlemen,
First off, I would like to Thank You! My listeners without I would not be in the position that I am in today. We may not have been on episode 15 right now. I love the support, keep it up because we have so much more to do with our podcast.
In today's episode, Difernt and I discuss the pandemic of Suicide in the Black Community. We investigated the facts surrounding the reasons why so many of our young black males end their lives. Mental Health plays a very big impact in our lives, we can't look past that we all go through things in life but who can you talk to about the stress you face every day? The anxiety? The depression? Find someone you trust that can be there when times get hard. Don't be afraid to ask someone for help.

Good morning, ladies, and Gentlemen,
I hope you have all had an amazing week so far. In today's episode, we send a message of hope to those who are struggling with their demons. Suicide affects people in so many ways, the article "Christiansburg mom shares message of hope during National Suicide Prevention Month" really sheds light that it affects our younger people. As a culture, we need to start having those tough conversations about suicide. It's only going to bring awareness to the issue and maybe save a life. I am curious to see how Biden's six-step Covid Plan plays out. Because it needs to go through OSHA and be implemented. But I can see it's going to be a cluster of paperwork. And for all my friends and fans out there who love smoking cannabis do yourself a favor and eat healthily and be sure to check in with your doctor. Just to make sure you are not at risk for a Heart Attack.

Good evening, ladies, and Gentlemen,
Suicide Awareness started last week. And as promised I am putting out content that is related to suicide awareness. In this episode, I laid out the foundation of suicide awareness month. We talked about facts and even through in some stats. But we are far from over. Now we can investigate signs and ways to help others deal with depression. At times we all go through struggles and obstacles that may seem forever coming and never-ending. But we must keep fighting because it only makes us stronger at the end of the day. This is the time to find a friend that you trust and let them know that they can come to talk to you whenever they are feeling down or having those thoughts of hurting themselves.

Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen,
Disclaimer* I am very passionate about topics that include women's rights. The reason why this is called "Emergency" is that I didn't want to hold off on talking about this new law in Texas. I believe that women have the right to do whatever they want with their bodies. The government should not be able to make laws that restrict women on what they can do with their bodies. I understand that people have their own views on abortions, but look at the other side of the road. What type of life would that child be alive if the women kept it? We have too many children in foster care. To many on the streets. Sometimes we need to make the hard decisions in order for it to be the best decision for women.

Good morning Ladies and Gentlemen,
Thank You! For your amazing support for listening to my podcast. It only pushes me to give more and to talk about more topics that are not spoken about more in the media. In today's episode, we talk about Walt Disney World union members getting the vaccine and I will be doing more follow up with cast members that I know, to get their input on how they feel about choosing a vaccine or unemployment. We also discussed the new CDC moratorium and how it's affecting Landlords across the nation. Understand we have assistance programs in place to help everyone in need. But remember we always have people trying to cheat the government, which in turn makes getting on these programs just a little bit harder for people who really need it. The link for Rental Assistance will be below.

Welcome back Ladies and Gentlemen,
In this episode, it was an honor to be able to sit down and talk with an amazing woman by the name of Difernt. Difernt reached out to our podcast show to talk about her new book called "WHAT IF? A Controversial Paradigm Shift". She was graceful enough to share a copy of the book with me. I started reading it and by the gods, it was an eye-opener. Most of you know I love talking about social issues on the show, and this book took social issues and reversed the roles. An example would be: Instead of Africans being slaves, Europeans were slaves instead. This is how the book starts off and as you read more into it, each page starts with a "What If?" question. It truly makes you think what if the roles were reversed. Would European-descents face the same issues that African-descents face in today's age? Difernt is an exceptional woman, her journey through life shows us that no matter where you start you can end up doing amazing things. With her book, Difernt is pushing an envelope that many of us dare to open. But in order for us as a community to spark the change, we need to talk about issues that have been swept under the rug. Change starts with us, in the present. We can't change the past but we can look toward the future but change needs to starts now in the present, not tomorrow or next week.
Congrats! We made it to the 10th Episode! Thank you to everyone who listens to the show and shows support. I love you all!
Special Thanks to Difernt and TH3RD EYE Entertainment.

Good Evening Community Leaders,
Should You Get Vaccinated? This is 100% your choice whether to get vaccinated or not. Many people with whom I have spoken with are vaccinated because a loved one has passed away due to the virus. We as a people owe it to ourselves to not only protect ourselves but protect our community. Because in due time, we hope to get back somewhat of our normal lives. For those of you who do not want to get vaccinated please I beg you to Wear Your Mask when you are out in public around people you do not know. This will protect you. Even though some of us are young and healthy, we are still at risk. Do your part ***Wear A Mask or Get Vaccinated either choice will protect you and your loved ones from catching this deadly virus.
Changes: As I spoke about this in the show, there are some changes coming down the road for Building a Better Community. I am hopeful that the changes are for the best. I will be switching up the format in how I do the podcast. Further information will be coming soon! Thanks for listening to the show! It means so much that we have dedicated listeners. Good Morning Ladies and Gentleman,
Is Sex important in a relationship? That is the question that Millz and myself look into. I really wanted to look into how social media plays a part in a relationship. Whether that be same-sex couples or opposite-sex couples, either way in this show we learn the cons and pros. Social media has become an outlet for how we express ourselves but we must not forget that social media is always there but human interaction with our partner can be lost in a snap. Enjoy those moments you make with your partner because that is what matters at the end of the day. There is a saying "never take life for granted." That goes for your partner as well, spend as much time with them instead of being on social media.

Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen,
In this episode, Millz and I take a look into the Job Market and where it stands as of today. We also share our very own thoughts on government assistance programs and how they're being used for the wrong reason by common people. I understand that getting a job for most people is hard because you may have other things that are keeping you from working. Trust me I've been in your shoes at least once. Don't ever give up on yourself, keep pushing, and sooner or later some type of work will come your way. As a way of helping the community here is a list of a couple of Be your Own Boss jobs:

Good Morning Community Leaders,
I had so much fun recording this episode with a very good friend of mine Aaron, we work together in the past at Universal Orlando Resort. Aaron reached out to me about doing a show around homelessness and the effects it played on his family. I agreed hands down! Because this a community-based podcast and I wanted to shed some light on issues that not only we face here at home but what most people are feeling and/or facing around our country. The stats alone on homeless youth is very devastating. Aaron and I spoke about there not being enough resources to combat this issue. And as Community Leaders (what I refer to my listeners as) we should take more of a stand on this issue. Small steps, nothing huge but small enough that we make an impact.

I had the amazing chance to sit down with one of the Top Influencers in Orlando Fl, Elijah Alexx. We spoke about two things: How to become an Influencer and The LGBTQ Community. Both topics I wanted to hit on for Pride Month. This episode is very close to heart, we wanted to make sure that issues that face the LGBTQ Community were spoken about and we shared our thoughts on those issues. Pride is not just a month-long event is a lifetime movement. It celebrates the achievements and it also looks at the issues The Community sees looking forward. Thank You for listening to the show and please share on your social media platforms as well.

In this episode, Millz and I take a look at "The System" (Justice System) and how it affects the Black Community. We give some facts and even some ways on how we (The Community) at home can make an impact. Reform on this topic needs to be addressed from the top. Our government leaders need to take more of a stand on making the justice system not see color. That's easier said than done. This is not the last you will hear about "The System". We will be taking a small break to give the spotlight to the LGBTQ+ Community and learning what it tasks to be an Influencer. I hope you all like the show. Be Smart. Be Kind. Be Different. Please be aware that the "f" word is said a couple of times.

Part 2 explores more facts on Mental Health in The Black Community. Including suicide rates among our young black teens. We need to make sure we put time aside for our well-being. That includes taking a day off and just relaxing. And I understand that sometimes we just do not have the time to do it. But your mental health is more important. We cannot as a community be ashamed of what people (family, friends, and co-workers) may think of us for seeking help. We need to do the opposite, we need to encourage, we need to step up, and talk about these issues with our children and loved ones. Mental Health starts at home. As a community, we need to stand together and work on bettering our mental health. Be Safe. Be Smart. Be Different.

I got the chance to sit down with a very close and dear friend of mine K. Millz. In this episode, we discussed our views on Mental Health in the Black Community. Along while having some fun of our own. We dipped into plenty of rabbit holes, but it all played a part in the discussion at hand. Some of the facts that were given are a couple of years old but as I stated before, we're going to use those numbers as a baseline. And I am hoping those numbers declined. Please feel free to check out the article which will be posted below. I would like to thank everyone for showing your support on the podcast. The more we share this podcast with friends and family, the stronger our community becomes. Be Safe Be Kind Be Different.
