On this episode of Two a Days, let’s talk about taking your negative thoughts captive and winning power struggles with what others think of you. 😻
Pop culture discussion about the Stanley Craze and the Swiftie algorithm woes I am experiencing. 😹
Let’s shift our mindset about people walking in and out of our lives and taking more than they give. I’d love to hear your thoughts on this…
Thanks for listening today! The Word of God is powerful, active and totally relevant to today. For everything we face, God has provided clarity, wisdom and a way out. I will list below all the scriptures that I talked about and read here. :)
Anxiety:
What Paul says about it: Phillipians 4:6-9 (I read it in both the NIV and NLT versions)
How to admit you're not okay while still having a positive vision: Psalm 119: 25-32 (I read this is the MSG version)
What Jesus says about anxiety: Luke 12:22-26 NIV or NLT
Oppression: prolonged or unjust treatment or control.
What The LORD promises you about oppression: Isaiah 54:14-15
Remembering who we are as opposed to what they try to make us feel: 2 Corinthians 6:7-10
A prayer against oppression and tyranny: Psalm 35. Read the whole thing! It's powerful!
God's promises are there. We can sow seeds that match his promises and reap a beautiful harvest from them.
Who God is and what His promise is to you: Isaiah 40: 28-31
Be still: Exodus 14:10-14
I love you all. Be strong in the LORD. He will take anxiety and oppression off of you and help you to never let it come back on you. Grace and peace be multiplied to you.
Thanks for listening to today's episode! Faith is not just something that sounds good or is written on our journals and coffee mugs. It's a seed and a tool for living well. Thank you for listening to my thoughts on just how powerful faith is. Feel free to reference the scripture I read from ( I like to use Bible Gateway to read scripture, I like the NLT, KJV and NIV translations):
Hebrews 11:1-3, 7-19, Jeremiah 29:11-14
I pray blessings on you all. Thank you for listening.
According to your faith, may it be done unto you. Matthew 9:29
Thanks for listening today! A relationship with Jesus doesn't have to be about rituals or religion. All in all, He really just wants to be your friend and give you provision and peace for your life. :)
Sharing some things that are on my heart this month regarding content, gifts and mindset. I know it feels good to say them, and hopefully someone somewhere will get some good encouragement from it. I pray blessings over you today. Xoxo Morgan Teresa
A prophetic word for our times: Isaiah 32:1-8, 16-20
For confidence: Psalm 91 AMP
For Inspiration: Philippians 4:4-13, 19-20
