This fortnight's episode revolves around a Taxi Driver whom I encountered about a decade ago in Kolkata, a well-known large metropolis in the Eastern part of India. On a family outing, it started to drizzle, and we jumped into a taxi to rush back home. The roads were empty and the taxi driver was a confident driver with fifteen years of driving experience and knowledge of the roads. When a famished beggar crosses the road, blissfully unaware of the approaching vehicle, it all happens, and a mundane day is transformed into an unforgettable day.
