In today’s episode, I will be talking about TIME AND CHANCE  Life will present you with chances at the right and wrong time.

Time and chance, means we have control of our lives, but we don't have total control of it, time and chance determine how long we live on this earth.  Anything can happen at any time, and we have no control of that.

There is no such thing as waiting for the right time. Just keep doing what you know how to do best so that when time and chance align perfectly, you will be ready for your breakthrough.

Do we necessarily need to go through pain to gain in life? The answer is No. Is life painful for everyone? Yes, one way or other. Be it emotionally, physically, spiritually, psychological torment and so on.

Pains towards greatness are not always physical. Pain is something we all face. You don’t have to be ashamed of yours. The question is, what do we do about pain? How do we see it? Most people run away from pain. They try to hide from hardship and the pain it brings and choose the way that promises less hurt and more pleasure.

So, do not let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do. Everything happens for a reason. There is always pain before gain "NO PAIN NO GAIN".

Sit back as we continue on today’s topic and don't forget to share

In today’s episode, I will be talking about INTENTIONAL LIVING.

What Is Intentional Living? Intentional living means understanding your fundamental beliefs and values, and then actively living your life in line with those values.  When you are intentional you choose to make decisions and take action on what's really important to you. Being intentional means getting clear up front about what you want to achieve.

You intentionally set an intention to achieve a specific outcome or result in the future.  Living intentionally requires slowing down, digging deep, and being mindful of your actions. The first step is to accept that life is made up of choices.  To be able to achieve intentional living, you need to take firm action in the various aspects of your life.

Hello everyone, welcome back to POSITIVE MINDS with Stephen Akindayomi.

In today’s episode, I will be talking about “HOLISTIC APPROACH TO LIFE”  A holistic approach means to provide support that looks at the whole person, not just their mental health needs. The support should also consider their physical, emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing.

A holistic approach focusses on a person's wellness and not just their illness or condition.

Do you include humour in your life or are you taking everything too seriously?  Do you express your personal style and your personality, or do you suppress it?  Sit back as we discuss today’s topic.

In today’s episode, I will be talking about the “FUTILITY OF LIFE”. Life under the sun is futile and vain until we seek God and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. If we must seek for the reason for our existence, why not look in the most obvious places? An inward emptiness is a spiritual problem. Look for the spiritual answer. This road points to Christ.

Our topic for today’s episode is “EXPECTATION GUARANTEES DISAPPOINTMENT”.

As we are in the mouth of February when valentine is celebrated almost everywhere on earth, I’m doing this special edition of my podcast to encourage us to practice daily love amongst all to bring fitting vibes to our world.

When you stop expecting people to be perfect, you can like them for who they are.

Expecting life to always turn out the way you want is guaranteed to lead to disappointment because life always has a way of surprising us. And when those unfulfilled expectations involve the failure of other people to behave the way you expect them to, the disappointment also leads to resentment.

If you spend your life concentrating on what everyone else thinks of you, would it change who you really were? What if the face you showed the world turned out to be a mask...with nothing beneath it?

So, Stay tuned as we further brainstorm on today’s topic.

And don’t forget to share with loved ones.

In today’s episode, I will be talking about how “Courage + ignorance = success”

It’s up to you to make it happen in life. Happiest people don't have the best of everything they just make the best of everything.

The greatest obstacle to success isn’t outward competition. It’s inward doubt. For many of us, this doubt is so common that it causes us to sabotage ourselves.

We shouldn’t be overconfident, of course, but once in a while we can take a blind leap of faith. Aim for opportunities that seem a little unbelievable. You’ll never know where you might find yourself.

Enjoy and kindly share among friends and family.

In today’s episode, I will be talking about "CAPTIVITY OF NEGATIVITY".

Are we captivated by our own negativity? Because being captivated by negativity is a form of depression that can cause you to feel like crap, and you find yourself falling down a never-ending gravitational spiral of negativity.

Kindly enjoy and do share with friends and loved ones.

If you expect the world to take care of you or be fair to you because you are fair, you will only be fooling yourself. That will be like expecting the lion not to eat you because you didn’t eat him. Self-help is solely your responsibility and as such you must purposely pursue it with a degree of intentionality.

It can be likened to the idea of you parenting yourself; which is very much like the way parents intentionally care about their children; constantly looking after their welfare.

Self-love, self-respect, self-worth... There is a reason they all start with "self". You cannot find them in anyone else nor can anyone else do it for you.

Stay tuned as we discuss the worth of self-help.

Hello everyone, welcome back to POSITIVE MINDS with Stephen Akindayomi.

In today’s episode, I will be talking about “IT IS YOU VS YOU”

I would like to remind you to love yourself first, because that's who you'll be spending the rest of your life with.

Ships don't sink because of the water around them; ships sink because of the water that gets in them. Don't let what's happening around you get inside you and weigh you down.

In this episode, I will be discussing how do we put God first in everything we do?  Is it to pray, fasting or by showing the fruit loving, in action?

➡️ When we put God first in our lives, we accept his direction.

➡️ We experience joy and happiness when we make God a priority in our lives.

➡️ There is a purpose to each of our lives and a reason for our being here in the first place. .

➡️ Giving God the first priority enables us to experience peace in our lives.

Not putting God first is like buttoning your coat incorrectly: if you get the first button wrong, all the others will be wrong.  The good news is: when you get the first button right, all the others will line up, too.

As you put God first, everything else in your life will begin to line up as well.

Hello everyone, welcome back to POSITIVE MINDS with Stephen Akindayomi.

In today’s episode, I will be talking about BE YOUR BEST FRIEND.

I’ve often mentioned the need to help others, but helping yourself is your duty too. Life is precious and you need to give yourself the best chance at living it well!

So whether you need to meditate, or to pamper yourself, or if you just need some “you” time. Make sure to give yourself the gift of self care.

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.”

Kindly share with your friends and love ones after listing .

Hello everyone, welcome back to POSITIVE MINDS with Stephen Akindayomi.

In today’s episode, I will be talking about self-Imprisonment.

I will be discussing how our upbringing can deeply impact our mindset and how we somehow imprison ourselves.

So, the question is: how do we imprison ourselves? How do we Become Our Own Jailer?

Don’t chase another human being. Instead, chase your curiosity. Chase your development and your goals. Chase your passion. Strive to work for something bigger than yourself, and instead of trying to convince someone that you fit within their world- strive to build your own.

Often times, when dealing with life issues, we can sometimes fall into irregular periods of feeling down. This statement goes tenfold for anyone struggling with mental health. No matter how much you want to move forward and out of this wave-pool of negative emotions, it may feel like you’re stuck in a riptide. You want to be productive, but you can’t turn off these negative thoughts because you feel down and in the end you can’t be productive.

This cycle is fairly common, and After giving it some thought, I believe there are several ways we humans trap ourselves, or should I say imprison ourselves.

Life is like a game; all you have to do is to know how to play it. I will like to encourage you to take action before it’s too late.

Please Stay tuned as we continue on today’s topic. Kindly share and drop your comment below.

“We cannot force someone to hear a message they are not ready to receive, but we must never underestimate the power of planting a seed.” I love this quote because the message is supportive of both sides, the speaker and the listener.

The Apostle Paul said it well in 2 Corinthians 9:6 - "Now I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully."

Thank you, I remain your host Stephen Akindayomi. Bye for now and stay blessed…..be positive.

On this episode, I will be taking you through why we need to set strong principles in order to achieve our values and purpose in life.

Values are qualities or standards that govern the behaviour of a person and principles are rules or beliefs that govern our actions. The main difference between values and principles is that principles are based on a person's values. Thus, it is values that act as the foundation for principles.
