Join Jose & I (Josue) as we hang out in the office & talk about business, family, or just kick back and have fun.
We just talk about how our kids make us better people. We would be a wreck without them. God knew we needed them.
We talk about "tire kickers", problems we encounter as business owners, and having a mentor
In this episode, Jose Galicia, aka "JG" shares his story of how he finally got closer to our family. He's originally from Guatemala and he migrated to DC some 16 years ago with nothing and not knowing English. He left home at 12 & has been on his own ever since. Although he is my brother we were raised completely different because when he was a child he was raised as someone else's child. He digs deep into what "family" means to someone who has never had one, the value of being healthy & together, & how being part of a family has changed him. A true story of perseverance through anything life throws. Today, he is successfully building his real estate & headshot photography business. Stay tuned for more..
After recording for an hour and a half we noticed two things. First, we can only record up to 30 minutes on the browser. Second, the mic was muted. So we just recorded for another 20 minutes. Fun time. Hope you enjoy.
This episode is in Spanish. My mom shares her story about how she nearly died of starvation at 3 years old. I learn about my grandpa who was shot in the back and paralyzed. I find out that I am part Spanish, Guatemalan, Mayan, Salvadoreño, & most surprisingly, Polish.
