When you think of the word friend you do not think of the word THIEF do you? In this episode, Caren is sharing her heart about recent activities in her life that led to encounters with thieves...often disguised as 'friends' or "mentees'...etc.
When we think of stealing something from someone else, we often think of someone taking something from us. But what if you could take back what the enemy stole from you, what if I told you that having a Quiet + Confident Heart was a tool against the devil...would you believe me?
I've had several things stolen from me in my life, but none of them have been as painful as when I lost my peace.
And at times when I've felt most vulnerable and afraid—when my heart was breaking over someone or something—that's when the enemy tries to attack me most fiercely. Why? Because it has everything to do with my voice and influence. My voice is an extension of who I am; it's how people get an idea of who I am before they meet me face-to-face.

As The Ink Dried, So Did My Tears
Writing one day, pouring my heart out before God, I heard a cynical voice say, "Why do you write this way all the time? Do you really think God hears you when you write? Stop! This isn't working!”
I looked around the room, as I knew a strange, sarcastic voice was talking to me; however, I also knew that I was alone in the room: this is when another of my dominant spiritual gifts kicked in, which is Discerning Spirits! Nevertheless, I heard an audible voice say, "Caren, the entire Bible was written, please keep writing!"
As I grew in my relationship with Holy Spirit, I realized that the voice I heard was Satan trying to convince my heart that journaling was a waste of time. However, he is a liar!
Despite the fact that I could go on and on about this encounter, I will let you take a listen for yourself. I started a Spirit-Led Journaling journey which has dramatically changed my life and is something I continue to do to this day.
