Over the past few years, I have had this little idea brewing in the back of my mind and it wasn’t until this past year I knew I had to be BRAVE and act on it.This podcast comes from my favourite quote “What if I fall? Oh my darling, but what if you fly?”. It is all about being brave and taking that leap of faith so you can fly! We tackle starting new businesses, blended families, the dangers of social media, the world of social media influencers, overcoming drug + alcohol addictions and so much more. We dive deep into REAL life stuff this season!A huge thank you to my guests who made this first season so much fun to record. I was nervous but you all made it easy! ❤️ I know your stories of being brave and taking leaps of faith will inspire many others.

I loved talking with my friend Barb Butler about her journey as a brain injury survivor. Barb and her family were hit by a semi driver coming home camping in 1993.

Barb would spend 3 weeks in a coma, months in the hospital and awake to a world where she would re-learn to speak, walk, do normal daily tasks. Barb shares how she could have spent her time mourning the loss of a career in education administration, physical and mental abilities, and her working memory loss, but instead she put one foot in front of the other, pushed through, and has been impacting lives of other brain injury survivors.

I can’t wait for you to hear Barb’s story. This one you will not want to miss!

And we are live!
Mason doesn’t hold back and left me with goosebumps as he shared his story on growing up in small town Saskatchewan, going through the loss of his father, and working for big companies like the Saskatchewan Roughriders + Conexus.
But most of all he shares about becoming his true authentic self which leads him to finally say the words he’d never said out loud, “I am gay.”
Pop the champagne, pour those mimosas, and join Mason and I while we discuss stepping outside life’s comfort zones and being your true authentic self.

Over the past year, Mary has not only become a friend but also a mentor. She was actually the first person I shared my idea of a podcast with and she encouraged me to be brave and say do it! ❤️

Mary has an incredible story to share. Fresh out of university Mary jumped into a new adventure and bought The Assiniboia art gallery which she and her husband Jeremy still run today! While being a busy mom of 4, Mary would go and join the quick-growing company Hillberg & Berk, and then say yes to the executive team at Conexus Credit Union and learn how things work in the world of finance. Mary shares her passion for building relationships and saying yes to new adventures.
