Building Discipleship is a faith-based podcast show where Jennifer discusses the importance of walking in God’s purpose and the challenges many Christians face. It’s easy to waste time and get caught up in life’s distractions and temptations, especially in today’s society. Each episode will consist of God based conversations with real life stories, conversations with spiritual leaders, friends, and family members. Jennifer shares her experiences and brings others to share their experiences to encourage other believers in Christ. Let’s begin to walk in real purpose with Christ. “For many are called, but few are chosen”-Matthew 22:14
All of us have worried about something. But do we let the worry fester or do we pray and give our problems and worries to God? For His word says, “Trust in the lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding”(Proverbs 3:5-6). We don’t know everything so let’s trust in Jesus who does. God does not want us to worry because it takes us away from trusting in him.
Trust issues did not come from God it came from man. God is not a man and even when Jesus did walk on this earth he wasn’t an ordinary man. He was still God! So you can trust in Jesus. If you’re a person who’s lost the ability to trust in people know you still have one last person you can trust and his name is Jesus Christ the Lord. Today I urge you to seek Him! For he is always there when no one else is.
All of us are here on purpose. We did not accidentally stumble on this earth. God made every one of us for a reason, and our spirits will never feel whole until we walk in that purpose. Every gift we have God placed in us for our callings. As you grow in the Lord, these gifts that God planted in you will start to reveal themselves. While you're walking in purpose, you will face challenges but keep a positive mindset through those challenges. Proverbs 23:7 says, "for as he thinks in his heart, so is he." You will be what you allow to fester in your mind, so if you think negative thoughts, you'll be a negative person, but you can do positive things if you think positive. Through it all remember the verse," I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). If God called you to do something, know that He will equip you and that you can do all things through Him. The journey won't be easy, but it'll be worth it!
